Jan Kovacs smirks from atop Jornstad as he wipes the filthy dwarven blood from his blade. "They began this war, so it is up to us to finish it. With the extermination of this so called independent nation." He roars to the soldiers around him.

A well thought of halfling would point out "If Orenia conquers the dwed then Orenia will own all nations besides the orcs... Do we want to see a world run by humans? Hell, their last respectable leader was Tuvya Carrion. Maybe we should look at Orenia's true motives behind this war..."

I've been playing a dwarf since I joined this server, and this war has been going on since before that. Literally every where I go, dwarves are hated. No matter how friendly the individual, we are only met with swords and drawn bows. I would like to actually RP once in a while with people other than dwarves, but I shouldn't have to change races just to do that. I don't really know the whole history behind this ****, but it is serious crap. The reason I fight for urguan... is because you all are ASSHOLES to us, and deserve to be knocked down a peg.
Racist, closed minded, and immature.
These are the characteristics of Oren.
Not to mention dishonorable -_-
e.g.
"My dwed friend, if you simply lay down your arms, there will need to be no more bloodshed"  - Orener
*lays down arms
"Alright, chop his head off" - Oren captain
^Actually happened, and by some high up Oren ****** too, if I could remember his name I'd call him out.

All I wanted to do was come on here and RP a dwarf in a fantasy world, and you all make me hate every other race.
Yes, this IS salt, foaming from my mouth.

And as long as I remain on this server (am not banned) I will fight to make the lives of people like this hell, for as long as I can without having a sodium overdose. Because you deserve it.

Side note, I met an Orener one day, and we chilled and I helped him move some ****, and build, and the whole time, I had no idea he was Orenian, he didn't know I was from Urguan. We got along great, till that subject came up. Yet we fight endlessly, just for our own freedom. Where are the people like that guy? Where is the good RP?
NOT IN THE HANDS OF THE ORENIAN LEADERS THAT'S FOR SURE.

"A shame they cannot put their honor aside and look to their elven brothers, ones who were also thought to be oppressed and ruled with an ironfist." Mithius would comment in the imperial court

"I dare say, I doubt that Exterminatus is what this nephew of mine aims for." notes Silus. "I have witnessed great mistakes on the side of the dwarves, let alone, when they decided to play a dominating role in the times when the humans were scattered. Imperialism, my dear dwarves, against humans, is something you should not do. For giving the humans a common foe, unites them faster than a halfling can eat a pumpkin pie.

The battles and defeats you suffer now, are the result and reprecussions of Dwarven politics from long ago. I do not blame you, but you will have to weather this storm. You may have your pride, and I do well understand that, as I have my own, but probably it is best to come together and reconcile. If it is peace you aim for, you should not go ahead and fight against and mistreat humans whenever you can, just because you hold some grudge. That aside, the odd illnesses of memery, bantery and trollery which I have observed to come from beyond the fourth wall,... was it the fourth wall?... have affected many of your men and caused them to act in a way that was not overly... healthy for your politics as a whole.

I would offer you my hand, dwarves, if I was leading mankind. But I am not. All I can suggest, is that you could admit a loss. Come to a table and negotiate. Not to strong-arm Oren, the humans, us, but to come with amends for the mistakes of the past. Agree things went awry. Then, we may come to you and say that we have been doing things wrong as well. If you are too stubborn to understand, then I must sadly watch more fall in battle, hear the endless meaningless slaughter of your and MY people. To an end, where only chaos and desolation is left behind."

Silus, pauses for a brief moment, breathing.

"This is not what we have fought and stood together for, even if it only was for a brief time, against Setherien, the Harbingers and the lingering and corrupting darkness of this hellish realm beyond. When did we ever have true peace. Vailor is the best place to give it a try. But it requires both sides to reconcile."

"Punishing an entire race for the mistakes of a King that drank bleach and ended his life like the coward he was sounds wrong." says Ioannis as his eyes focus on Kal'Akash.

That's not even been an option for me. I've tried peace, and was betrayed nearly instantly. Hence the story of "lay down your arms and there will be no need for bloodshed..." etc.

(remember this is a roleplay post and need to reply in roleplay. as for the reason of the war, a few screwed you because they think they can beat oren. for years ive said dont give the humans a common enemy as they will eventually fight from the inside but if you give a focus for their hate they will band together and destroy it.)

"Though I don't necessarily have the right to comment, it angers me greatly when individuals use scapegoats. Let us... not forget the tale of Midgor. Before he perished, he spoke to me. The war was not entirely his decision, for his people followed him and some even rallied for it.

Circulating ideals of finally reaching that long-sought-out victory over humanity since the days of Anthos has been ever present in Urguan, thus this war is not solely placed upon the shoulders of Midgor. Furthermore, similar scenarios occurred during the Schismatic war, the Zion war, the Fringe wars and so on.

My Grandpappy once told papa Taranis of his deeds during the many dwed wars- and one thing was certain; he never fought alongside Urguan except in the final days of the Zion War where Franz unfortunately met his untimely end by the hands of the Decterum due to the shillings of the church which he served. Interestingly enough, that key moment was when he realized Dwarven the true face of dwarven tactics. Rushing into Mount Augustus blindly without orders lost the Zionists the day, as did the retreat from the infamous bridge in Athera for the Schismatics. Urguan, despite the apparent kindness of the average citizen, is notorious for making the WORST martial decisions both politically and in the field.  And truthfully, it's tiring.

My grand pappy was never the same after the fringe wars, the constant calls of 'Dwarves at Vekaro, RALLY!' must've been dreadful to hear day in and day out. The dwed are persistent and prideful; even in the face of defeat they still shout 'victoreh' which merely eggs on humanity to hit them harder the next time.

I, myself, was recently placed in a similar situation as the Orenian emperor when dealing with the Red Brothers.

A leader, backed by his loyal patrons, assaulted a nation in its building stages. Once war was declared, said leader dropped out of society and the people offered peace. This parallels Urguan immensely, for it was not solely the leader's fault yet the people blamed their former lieges.

My papa once told me, 'who's more foolish- the fool or the fool who follows him?'. Likewise, my mother always said 'If your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?'.

As an primary outsider in this conflict, the continued addition of motivation in favor of Oren merely strengthens the fact that Oren is just in this conflict. Perhaps if the average Dwarf understands and admits their mistakes with a willful acceptance of punishment, peace could be made. However, this is an idealistic approach as I believe patriotism will ultimately triumph over reason."
