"Bah, a pathetic attempt at preserving their own nation from the wrath of the war uzg," Bastion would grumble. "They expect soldiers that live far away, some of which have never been to Vandoria, to come fight for these lands of the so called empire and risk their lives just because the people living there cannot defend themselves. To hell with expansion, Vandoria gives the empire nothing but more land, titles, and a burden. What gratitude and glory will be shown to the soldiers that defend these lands? Nothing, near all the soldiers expected to defend Aethermoore have nothing tying them back to it."

Bastion would then crumple up the message and pitch it into the fire, before returning on his quest of trying to invent pizza.

Azariah, High Warden of the Aethermoor guards, frowns deeply when she hears of this within her home. The high elf paces in her living room, muttering to herself.

"The King of Vandoria should have arranged a meeting with the nobles under him and discussed on this first, vote on it, and decide if we truly need this or not... not just accept this without our says... while Oren does appear strong and can help us with the orcs, which I am fine with.... I refuse to acknowledge them as a full-on ally. I know Oren despises other races, especially Khas, and that some of their men will do all to harm non-humans... just all because they are different and does not follow the same religion as them. Not to mention cause havoc and uproar within the town..."

She grips her chair's head tightly, sighing and shaking her head. "These next few years are surely going to give me more grey hairs..."

A companion of Gregor would deliver the news of the unification of the two states.

"-And so Vandoria and Oren will be one."

"What th' fock is a Vandoria?" he inquires, appearing to be serious. Then suddenly, the two break out in laughter together.
