TO THE PIOUS MEN AND WOMEN OF FREIMARK, SAVOY, FOREIGNERS AND WHOMEVER THIS MAY CONCERN,

 

Many years have passed since the founding of the Barony of Freimark, many years of effort and hard work from the populace of Freimark, its builders, and its Shqiptars. As the wise elders have said, As you sow, so you shall reap.

 

Today then, is a day of reaping, a day of harvest, and a day of revelry for the realm of Freimark and its populace, for the first town of Freimark, together with the Barony of Lvinsk have been constructed, and the County’s offices have been officially established.

 

Thus, shall the town be dubbed ERWINSBURG, named after the great Duke Erwin Barclay, a most competent Reinmaren leader and marshal of armies, who expanded and achieved much against all odds. May Freimark and its town too, pick up after his example, to prosper and to expand, to grow and to strengthen, with the grace of GOTT, and with the hard work of its populace.

 

To celebrate and inaugurate this joyous occasion then, shall the Inauguration of Erwinsburg be held within the lands of Freimark. Feast, revelry, and due ceremonies shall be held, for all to participate and enjoy. The beginning of a new era has begun for the Freimarkish, may it last as long as GOTT allows it, and may its people prosper and bring glory to its name.

THE REVELRY

THE BLESSING OF ERWINSBURG

All were created by GOTT, and all are allowed to be created by GOTT. Thus is also the occasion with the construction of Erwinsburg, for it was by GOTT’s will that it was allowed to be built, and by GOTT’s will it stands. Thus, during the Inauguration, shall the town be blessed, together with its church, by presence of the High Pontiff Everard VI. Beginning thus the celebrations with a thanking of GOTT for His grace, shall the Church of the Blessed Nicolas be blessed by his Holiness.
 

THE OATHING OF THE SONS

Following right after the blessing ceremony, within the square of Freimark, shall promotions of the Sons of Saint Tylos take place. Those Novitiates who have contributed and showed military value shall be oathed, and those Bannermen who have shown valor and loyalty shall be promoted. Thus signifying the importance of the Freimarkish militaristic tradition, will the Sons of St. Tylos was oathed in front of the entire present court.

 

 

 

THE JOUST OF THE REINMAREN
Just before the great feast, shall a Jousting tournament be held in the Wilheimian Arena. A Reinmaren tradition for many centuries, the Jousting of the Reinmaren shall determine the first Kavalier von Erwinsburg, a title held by the best rider to join the tournament. Additionally, a price of 150 minas will be awarded to the new Kavalier.
 

THE FEAST OF ERWINSBURG

Finally, the revelry shall end with a town-wide feast. Food and drinks shall be served, music will be played, and all shall be invited to attend the joyous occasion. Beginning within the festival grounds near Lvinsk, many games will be played for those present, such as Apple Picking, dancing, pig’s dice, and all that comes with it. As the feast shall begin to quiet down, the festivities shall end inside the Tavern of Erwinsburg.
