Petition to Banish the Savoyards

[!] A petition was passed around Oren and its surrounding areas

 

For too long now, our citizens have had to put up with the antics of those who proclaim to be winning our battles for us.

Yes they run rampant in our streets, harassing the good people of the empire. They degrade women, threaten elves, and walk all over the Imperial State Army, proclaiming the Emperor backs all their actions.

This has to end

They are few. Their numbers help in the battles, but their crimes outweigh their accomplishments.

This saints night, they killed a member of the ISA. They threw him into the Petra river. Is this allowed by the empire? I say ENOUGH

Before, they bandited Orc Mercenaries hired by the empire for their assistance in the war. Is this allowed by the empire? So says the Savoyards! I say ENOUGH

They have raided a Savoy vassal, who we are NOT at war with. Is this alright? NO. Why cause needless conflict when we are already fighting a war! I say ENOUGH

Those by the names of Edmond, Enzo Cooper and Argus have no place in this empire anymore

 

If you agree, I ask that you sign this petition. One persons pleas can do little in the grand schemes of the empire, but a large amount of its citizens? Well, we will have our voices heard!

People will read that and think that they want to banish all Savoyards. Whereas if you read the actual petition, they merely want to banish three individuals, who all happen to be Savoyards. Elsewhere, Presbyter Ileana read the petition and nodded firmly. "Horrible people, those three, and at least one is a godless heathen to boot. This is not the first ISA member they have attempted to murder. They also tried to murder Lacazette Dupont and threatened to skin alive Ixltub." She paused. 

 

"Wait, I haven't seen Mr. Dupont since that incident. Could they have...?" She hastily scrawled her name on the petition.

"If I could be so free to utter my honest opinion on this matter - The Savoyards did play a major role into putting the rightful Emperor, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Philip III on the throne. To simply banish them would just create an inevitable conflict between not one but if Savoyards are banished; two Canonist nations. I still have my kin, members of the Royal Family living within the Principality, and the last thing that I would want is to see a conflict happen because of the thing that only three Savoyards did." With that he simply sighed and uttered is thought in his Woldzkiy dialect. "Yesliy bi tol'ko nay biylo konflikt"
