[Method]

Crush up refined salt with the alchemical portions, mix with water until a slurry, and leave to dry for an RP hour.

Cracking up the plate of dried salt will yield one measure of Liar's Salt.

Liar's Salt is player signed.

 

[Effect]

Invented by pesky vampires sick of burning at the stake, this salt was created in order to spread horrible confusion amongst seemingly flawless methods of ousting their kind. The main effect of liar's salt is that is fizzles in genus carrying blood, and causes a wincing discomfort in open wounds. Completely indistinguishable to all who do not know its recipe from regular salt, the only way to tell is to both know the recipe for Liar's Salt, and then to dissolve the salt in aqua vitae to reveal the small alchemical disparities.

I may be dumb here, but isn't this just... salt with extra steps? It'd basically fizzle in all descendant blood, and... salt already hurts if you put it on a wound.

Because it’s intended use is screwing people over for blanket testing. That knowledge should not be widely accessible. It’s evil and hides in the dark. Kind of like a vampire.

It's a reasonable little thing to add flavour to the efficient testing methods used by me and my fellow evil christian nationalist LARPers. We evolve over time to counter spooks, the spooks evolving in turn to try counter us would be based +1

After consulting management, the team decided against this piece as while it may introduce some brief trickery, ultimately it may not have the follow-up support necessary.
