Sander 3156 Popular Post Share Posted November 14, 2023 THE PONTIFICAL CORONATION OF 1950 THE CORONATION OF ARCHBISHOP ARNAUD CARDINAL ALBAROSA Most beloved flock, blessings and benediction,Two months ago, His Holiness High Pontiff Sixtus the fifth was laid to rest in a ceremony overseen by Patriarch Josef of Jorenus, after which his remains were cremated. Once this chapter in our church’s history was closed, the College of Cardinals gathered nextdoor to the Basilica in the late Pontiff’s residence for a conclave. I now feel blessed to formally announce to all of Canondom that it was me who was elected to serve as His Holiness’ successor in said conclave. The votes were cast by Cardinal Matthias of Lotharia, Cardinal Antonius of Artorus, Cardinal Josef of Jorenus and myself. The election was a close one, initially being tied. After lengthy and careful deliberation however, the votes were counted as three votes to one and it was thus that the Church of the Canon had its next Pontiff-Elect and I was chosen to be the next Vicar of God. To officiate this duty and great honor being bestowed upon me and come together to celebrate this momentous occasion for all our Canonist family, I invite you all to come and partake in the ceremony of my Pontifical Coronation. The event is to be held in three Saint’s Days, in the Temple of the Exalted Prophets of the Canon outside Whitespire, Aaun. Hastily, he would write back to his younger brother. Upon reading the invitation, Elaine Novellen d'Petra du Loc or whatever she felt like going by these days gasped. She smiled at her husband softly. "Albert, your brother is the Pontiff? What a shock! You must be so very proud of him."
Chorale__ 1693 Share Posted November 15, 2023 Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra looked upon this missive, noticing his mother's and elder brothers name on there so well as his younger niece's - though his was missing. Being the youngest brother of the Pontiff-to-be, he cocked a brow and inquired with his wife the Princess Melina of High Peak, "Perhaps it was a mistake? Or perhaps he is not as holy and good as he claims to be and did such on purpose? Who knows. . ." he scoffed clearly, making it a point to make a clerical error and accidentally exclude the Pontifical Coronation from the public River Court events calendar because of this potential slight. DancingZebra267 397 Share Posted November 15, 2023 Gerard, reading the news of Cardinal Arnaud's impending coronation, would bow his head in reverence. "Though distance keeps me physically apart, my spirit joins the devout assembly celebrating this sacred moment. May the divine light shine brightly upon Pontiff Arnaud, guiding him in his sacred duties. GOD bless the vicar and all the faithful gathered in prayer."
