"Wer Rastet, Der Rostet!"

"Kameraden! Victory has been brought to us this day! We did not Rust after our loss! We did not rest on our Laurels!"

"Ave Victoria! GOTT is with Us!"

Gottfried cheered with his Reinmaren brothers, the battle standard of green and blue flowing in the wind

“WER RASTET, DER ROSTET!” The Meyster Alchimist von Reinmar, Klaus von Berkhoven, called back to Gottfried!
He would then look to the host of Reinmaren horsemen that he had led into this fight alongside Olaf von Reinmar (@Liokv). “WIR MARCHEN UND WIR KAMPFEN!”

“I do hope these Yachtmen displace the drowned rats that pass for Ferrymen these days. They’re clearly superior and better folk to boot.” Hali stated, upon reading another perspective of the recent battle.

The Duke Viktor 'Daemonsteel' sat reclined in the saddle in the aftermath of the battle; he had lost his poleaxe at some point in the vicious routing following their final charge, yet he wore a pleasant grin as he regarded the carts that were drawn behind him, laden with equipment and pulled by once-Veletz warhorses. Now, they were common work mounts, trudging through the churned up muck and gore of the battlefield.

He spoke aside to his man Ivo and his son-in-law Ser Rickard as they made way from the sweltering southern sun. "We return to the proper order of business soon. Vy both did more than well, as did Marjoreya. Vy ought all take pride." He regarded the particularly bloodied garb of Ivo, whom he had seen slay many a man, and he grinned still despite the oppressive heat.

Palatine Josef, the Bovine Reaper, sat talking to businessmen fresh from his victory at Hippo's Gorge.

"No no listen to me, we buy the land and let other people make the restaurant on it. They just have to sell our beef. I think I'll call it.... 'Josef in the Box'."

Henrik Amador once more rode to war alongstride his sister grim as a dawning storm, and rode out with Veletzian shields hanging from his war-horse, grinning as he boasted of what wonders the museum would host once they assured their final victories.

Josef Denodado rode beside his family on their trek back to Hyspia, his trusty steed had survived the fires of conflict and now carried the spoils of war atop its mighty frame.

The young man smiles under his helmet as he looked to his younger sisters, Maria and Arianna then to their houseguards, Naexi and Onon, before looking to his father, Demitrey Denodado “Once we establish our territory, can we have a museum or trophy room for the future generations of our familia, Padre?” He asked with an excited tone in his voice, the lad’s heart still beating quickly under his chestplate from the final push against the combined forces of Veletz and Krugmar.

Ser Rickard bobbed his head to his father in law, Daemonsteel, offering idle mutterings about being knocked from his horse early. “I’ll just be glad to be back in the north, it’s too bloody hot down here for a sane man.”

"There boy, there boy," Enrico calmed a clearly angered hippotamus. Blood, guts, corpses, and a wide array of weapons surrounded the duo. It was then that he discovered his destiny, to be a hippo ranger. Someone ought to take care of them. He completely forget that just five minutes ago they had been killing Veletzians together.

Ser Audo Weiss traipsed his way back to his family through the slog of the battlefield, his armour scraped, dented and ruined from his various falls and recoveries within the battle. What injuries were upon him, part grave, would heal in time.

And yet, he lived the day and his desire for vengeance for Her Highness, Veronica was sated.
