Sakuragakure’s Recapture, the Continuation of the Western Campaign and War Goals going forward

To Our Brave Freedom Fighters and the Volunteer Brigade,

Thanks to the swelling support of our allies across the Braevosian continent and the brave Koyo-Kuni freedom fighters, the Oyashi now call Sakuragakure theirs once more. Through a breach made by the Oyashi Super Weapon SEIDAINA INOSHISHI, fighters from the Sakuragakure Ashigaru, the Rah’tuman, Númenedain and Reinmaren warbands were able to enter the village with minimal destruction to the integrity of the occupied capital and secure Ugokoyama Castle immediately before eradicating all demonic threats that were not routed including the occupying general of Gashadokuro’s forces, sent to oblivion for 1,000 years by the hand of the Rah’tuman BONES.

 

 

In truth Gashadokuro comes from a legacy that has long followed and plagued the Oyashi and Li-ren before Hirano Shinji became who he was. He is the son of the Laughing Hag, a vampyric horror who terrorized the Jade State of Yopinawa beginning one hundred and fifty years ago. It is a shameful era to speak of when from the outside world Oyashi and Li-ren were snatched up by racist hakujin Savoyards to be crucified along their bridge in long rows of death and embarrassment. From inside our homes where respite was meant to be found though, yokai terrorized and tortured us the same. And our people could not come together to solve these problems. 

 

It was when I became Shugo with the loss of Tetsugawa at the hands of the Mori years after Yopinawa did I make a vow; NEVER AGAIN. Never again would we allow an injustice to our people go unanswered. Never again would a debt to us go unpaid. Never again would we experience a century of humiliation at the hands of racist white devils and yokai. And never again could we as a people tolerate the darkness within our own. What was the reason for leaving Oyashima and the Lu-Zhou peninsula if we will abuse the same means that have blighted our home? As a result of this lesson unlearned by some though, Hirano Shinji ushers in THE SECOND ECLIPSE and damns the descendants of Ai-zho. Thus I have made it the Stratocracy’s mission to lead and eradicate our damned countryman from the face of Braevos.

 

The Stratocracy appreciates all of the support from home and abroad. To our allies from the Númenedain southern Midland cliffs and the Reinmaren tundras @AstriaS @Gandhi @BuilderBagel we thank you for the continued honoring of our five-century long ancestral friendship and swear to do the same for you. To the Earl of Lemons @Fishy we thank you and despite your red-haired hakujin complexion know in your soul you are one of us and to the citizens of the Shugonate, there is no greater honor than being able to serve one’s community. While we are a diverse people, children of Marinsama, Ōensama, Onimaru, Mugmaru and Kalthet we are a united people. On The Goals of the Stratocracy

With the recapture of Sakuragakure, the Oyashi people will now refocus on the rebuilding and repair of our homes from Gashadokuro’s occupation while we stock up on our resources to launch a campaign west for a year’s time. After such, the following goals will be the prerogative of our Stratocracy;

 

1. To march west on Hexicanum and reclaim dominion over the Norowareta Mori (The Cursed Forests).

 

2. The permanent existential death of Gashadokuro and his minions of evil-doers. His bounty has been elevated from B Rank to S Rank with a bounty of 2,000 mon (or two thousand Shugo Bounty points if mina is not interested) that can be claimed by any citizen of the state or licensed ally allowed on the frontline.

 

 

3. The Stratocracy’s reclaiming and destruction of the devil sword. While others believe they are responsible enough to lay claim to such - it was greed and naivety of the late King Aleksandr that has resulted in the deaths and chaos of the south west of Braevos. The Hakujin have proven ill-fit for the responsibility of safeguarding and hoarding the devil sword and thus the responsibility and handling of it shall fall upon us who fight against it head on.

 

On The Partial Reopening of the Border

While Sakuragakure has been reclaimed and we may allow visitors into our Flower-Capital again with the free movement of our citizens, the Norowareta Mori (Cursed Forest) now becomes the front line and shall remain CLOSED to all of those not welcomed from our previous border closing proclamation:

 

1. All citizens of Koyo-Kuni or those possessing papers from Sakuragakure.

2. The Númenedain, Reinmaren and Solgaard warbands.

3. His Holiness Caius I, Cardinal Callahan and Cardinal Villorik.

4. Students of the Temple Mul’naar.

While your work to garner the support of Canondom be well intended and of good faith, it is unneeded or desired for the burden of Gashadokuro lies with the Oyashiman and the friends and acquaintances called upon willing to share in our burden of casting out the legacy of the Laughing Hag once and for all. To put bluntly, many of whom you call on descend from regimes whom were quiet and/or complicit in the surrendering of TETSUGAWA to an Anathema Adria upon the previous lands of Almaris. And some of whom who bear responsibility for what occurs in Koyo-Kuni now - the second Inferi Crsisis, the Second Eclipse. I had invited you by name personally in honor of our mutual friend the late Queen Amaya whom shares familial ties with our onna-musha Watanabe Mei. This however does not extend you the right to pursue diplomacy or request aid on behalf of the Stratocracy especially amongst those we hold little or zero relations with. Trust in the Stratocracy and the Oyashi to follow the Mandate of Heaven and we and our allies will achieve victory. I invite you to meet with me in Sakuragakure if you would like to coordinate further on the mission of defeating Gashadokuro.
