N.G.M | The Skill Credit System

VIP = Very Important Person

We are pretty important because we donated to make the server better ;D

I wouldn't mind some extra points to aid my laziness

Haha, clever. But again I'm sure it would cause some... Upset in the community. We don't want to be one of those "Its free to play! (but if you pay we will pay more attention to you)" *cough*Roblox*cough*

LOVE this implementation!

HATE that it would even be suggested that players can get a 1-up advantage by buying these points. Could we maybe just implement a level up system? Or maybe a one time only donator perk that can increase skill points by a maximum of say 5?

At any rate, you've instigated a nod of approval from me overall, I am quite pleased with how this is, and I hope great strides are taken to improve it in the future! :)

I like the idea of giving us 75 credits to spend on skills. Kind of goes along with your main character bio. Say my character loves farming and has grown quite skilled in it, I should put a few points into farming. The RP of it is pretty cool.

And the fact that VIPs get extra credits is a plus and will surly bring in more donations to LOTC.

( Suggestion: Maybe even make a Donation slot for the credits. Say ten credits for a US dollar? Idk i would like to see that out there.

Maybe you get the amount of credits equal to your VIP so Iron get 10, Steel-25, Gold-50, Diamond-100, and Bedrock-200. Just a thought.

*Daniceyl's eye widen as he thought of a plan!* I got it! How about if you donate after this then you get some extra credits. My beef was with that if you already were a donater you get more credits, that is what bugged me, but I would be perfectly fine if you donate after this and get extra credits, kinda like a new donaters perk.

Do I need to point out how shallow that sounds? In other words, players who are less fortunate and cannot give money to the server to support it are as a result far less superior and really don't matter.

Donators should never ever get a huge boost in character strength because of OOC contributions. These strengths should come from the character and its development. I can understand a small boost, and one time only at that, but that is all. At least in my opinion.

How did you settle on the number 75?

Donating for credits is risky, but I think it will work out eventually.

I believe he was joking.

For some reason, the server says we can't use the commands to use our credits anymore

Don't quite like that idea just because of the fact that it took me a while to donate the first time and doing it again would be tough.
