  2. "Well done, Elska." Fey spoke mostly to herself as she sat at the kitchen table, her head in her hands. Seems like this missive was one piece of good news to her in the longest time.
  3. ︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿ Amara Galnerys was knelt within the mud next to the stone body of Telemachus, a hand outstretched and her fingertips touching his shoulders. "Telemachus...my boy.." Came her broken whisper as tears fell down her pale cheeks, mixing with the rain that fell around them. ︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿ The scene changes to where Amara is sitting in the Clinic of Junmura with an arrow sticking out from her knee, Mika unconscious beside her. "My boy....my boy..." She whispered till consciousness left her, leaving her within her mind. The memories that she had of Telemachus played like a recording from the time she first met the cute little boy with breathing issues to the time where she gave him one last hug. She remembered when he gave her a rose garland, something she still kept preserved to this day, placing it on her head and smiling, then breathing all excited, sounding a bit like a pug. The adorable, happy memory lived on in her mind. ︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿ "Mom..." Telly's broken whisper came through as it changed to a more recent, darker time. In this memory, Amara was holding onto a grown up Telemachus, her fingers combing through his hair as she held him as a mother would their child. The day she swore that she'd be there for him till the very end. "I'm here, honey. I'm here..." Slowly, Telemachus' form shrunk more and more, disappearing from her arms like his spirit till she was left hugging herself. The elfess leaned over forward and started sobbing in the darkness which was her mind. Her son was gone. Never to return, never to embrace again. This was the greatest sadness known to Amara. Her Dies Terribilis. ︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
  4. So what I'm understanding is that this is just a Glorified title with a false description because we already have people that deal with this stuff? Guys we need to make like the Avengers and Assemble. Go on strike, because I know NO ONE asked for this.
  5. Somewhere on the continent of Aevos, a woman sat in a library with a book in her hand and her eyes devouring the words upon the pages. For some unknown reason, within the warm confines of the structure she was in, she felt a chill run down her spine, distracting her mind from the knowledge she was delving into. Her mind drifted to Numendil for a moment. Out of all the places to think of, Why on earth would her mind go there? A huff was given through the woman's nose as her eyes drifted back down to the words written within the vast pages of the book she read. Perhaps it was time to seek out the city of Numendil and see what has been transpiring there... Just out of curiosity...
  6. ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ She did not expect this to happen. She thought everything would have been solved diplomatically, civilly. Yet the slaughter ensued despite the desperation of trying to keep things civil. She remembered it all with terrifyingly fine detail. The way that the men of the Empire and the men of Numendil surrounded them like an overly large pack of wolves. She remembered as two individuals in particular surrounded her form with their hands on the hilts of their swords and their gazes beneath their helms staring at her menacingly. She did not expect all of these men to act so aggressive, yet they did. . . . . . . She was not there, however, when the lives of many were taken. Fey Hrungnirsdottir was struck and pushed off the high walls of Vjardengrad when the battle first commenced. The waters below had welcomed her within its freezing embrace. She could only imagine what was happening above her, the loud sounds of battle and screams were muffled and almost unheard. Perhaps she preferred it this way, to die like this, for her body to be lost in the freezing current. But whoever watched over her, had other plans for her. She was stolen out of the waters by an unfamiliar figure. They were tall, fully covered in armor. How one could swim dressed like that was beyond her. Another joined him then, and then another. The woman was surrounded by the bloodthirsty lords and knights as her consciousness had slipped away to the cold. ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ Exhausted and starving, Fey stood before the blooming table of the deceased. Her weapon rested within her hand, ready for anyone who would dare attack. It was deathly quiet, everyone whom remained from the slaughter having gone to sleep. It was the quiet moments which she hated the most, where nothing else could distract her mind from the responsibility of guarding the deceased bodies. In these silent moments, she always took the chance to speak with them, whether their souls could hear her words or not. That night, she spoke to Kazimir. "How could I have missed your presence there? Why did you have to die?" The woman was filled with many questions, each and every one weighing heavily upon her chest. "Why could you not have lived like I had?" At this point, she had turned around, staring at one form underneath the sheet in particular, Kazimir's. "You have a family, you have friends, comrades all around you. You were to be my brother once upon a time. And yet, I still considered you such after what happened." "The wound in my heart is greater than any pain I've had to endure. I wish you would wake up but I know you cannot. That in itself is a pain that refreshes itself daily." The grieving woman then took a moment, a long moment, to pull herself together before she broke down fully in front of the table. It was silent for that moment, giving her a moment to think properly and tighten the seams of her guilt, her grief. "I will carry this immeasurable guilt for as long as I draw breath and I promise vengeance when it is due." "You have my word, brother. This will not be the last of it. I only hope you watch upon me and guide me with your strength..." ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫
  7. ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫ Fey stood in the morgue of the unstable building. She along with her friend, Aegon, had gone to retrieve Eydis from the cold. It was a sad sight, to see one having given up on life after a loss such as this. Disappointed as she was, she understood. She hadn't known Eydis, she merely heard of her. The wife of her dear friend, Asmund. She questioned the woman within her own mind. Is this what he would have wanted for you? Fey then shook her head. It was too late for questions. The woman was deceased, her soul having passed along, long before she even found her. With a sigh, she spun around and walked out of the morgue. Endurance is the fire that doesn't roar, but still burns long after the world expects you to fade. It was a shame that Eydis couldn't endure this... ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫
  8. ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫ ≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫ A voice had echoed within the chambers of the Temple in Vjardengrad. A voice so beautiful it sounded like an angel's chant and so alluring like a siren's song. That day in the Temple, that voice had sung a song, a powerful prayer to help guide a dear friend back home. Fey Hrungnirsdottir had tears running down her cheeks as she sung, watching as her friend's body was consumed by the flames. She couldn't help but think how unfair it all was, to lose such a great warrior, a great friend like him. She had not seen how he fell, she had not been on his side of the battle, but the loss was greatly felt when she stumbled upon the group that surrounded him. Her heart had shattered as she heard her sister, Eistalyn's cries, to which the woman had tried to comfort her, despite being injured herself. Now she stood, watching the flames flicker and grow intensely, the smell of burning flesh and fur tickling at her nose and the heat travelling in waves over the crowd towards her. "Årle ell i dagars hell." "You will be free from the bonds that bind you..." "Enn veit ravnen om eg fell." "You are free from the bonds that bound you..." As her song took a softer approach, within her mind, Fey spoke to Asmund, hoping that it would reach him as his soul departed. "What you have given us this day, your sacrifice, has earned us a great triumph. And now you are free. You can rest now, broedr. We will carry on in your stead." Her song came to a close, leaving the Temple in silence save for the roaring of flames. A great sadness took over the woman's heart and soul as she forced herself to walk away and get treatment for her wounds. Eydis's wails filled the silence, echoing far into the hallway of which Fey walked. With tears streaming down her cheeks like waterfalls, she brought a tight fist to her chest plate and reached out within her mind once more. "I will see you again, Asmund. And together we will drink and feast within the halls of the All Father." "But not yet..." "Not yet." ≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫ ≪ °❈° ≫≪ °❈°≫≪ °❈° ≫
  9. Somewhere within Vjardengard, Fey cackled and rubbed her hands together in Mischief.
  10. Reronda had stood there for hours upon hours, gazing up at the tree with disbelief. He was really gone, wasn't he? Theo's saddened yet loving smile, their last words shared between each other being burnt into her mind, never to be forgotten. His cloak, which he had wrapped around her shoulders, was pulled around her tightly, his sword hung from her hip from beneath it. "Always...I will always love you." She whispered up towards the leaves, a few fresh tears rolling down her cheeks. She then turned around, walking in the direction of Haense, her shoulders slumped and her demeanor melancholic. ~~~~~ Later on in the evening the wind blows gently in the snowy land, the white leaves of Theo's tree rustling with it. Reronda steps forth, her battle gear and weapons having been left at home. His cloak and a blanket had been wrapped around her shoulders to shield herself from the cold. The woman couldn't sleep. The house was empty, the warmth and the homeliness having left with Theo's untimely departure of this world. So she walked forward, finding a spot between the roots of the tree before making herself comfortable there. It was there she felt the closest to Theo, it was there where she could finally close her eyes and find slumber... ~~~~ Amara Fenwarin sits at the table of her office, reading the missive with saddened eyes. "Oh Sebastian...My friend, you will be missed." She closes her eyes briefly, taking a moment of silence for the fallen holy knight.
  11. Back in the saddle again!!!
  12. "MAROL!" The elfess had not stopped crying next to her sister in law's body since she died. Thank you so much for playing one of the best characters I have interacted with! You are such an amazing person Blue, never forget that!

  14. An Elfess takes a long draw from her blunt, blowing out the smoke after holding it for a long few seconds. She looks to the missive with an emotionless expression, though her eyes screams intrigue and curiosity. "Perhaps I should take a chance and actually go there, tis not that far if they are where I think they are." She proceeds to look out the window, to the dark and snowy landscape that stretched as far as the eye could see.

  16. Another victory to add to the books. Aurora Kervallen sits within her home alone, the quietness becoming eerie and oddly loud. She awaits her husband, who had been marked with the Harrower's boon before, only recently having knowledge of his cleansing. As she sits and thinks deeply on their past tainted conversations, she cannot help but remain suspicious. "Always remain suspicious, Aurora" an old friend's voice whispers in her head. Aurora narrows her eyes, tapping her fingers upon the desk. Yes, they might have gained a victory, but at what cost? They were all pieces upon a chess board, ready to be moved to their next strategic encounter. They had to wait however, for the Harrower has yet to make his move.
  17. Deep underground, in the dug out caves of below Urguan, Aurora Kervallen sits on the chair at the desk she shares with her beloved. She reads the missive with furrowed brows while securing her gauntlet on her arm. "Seems unnecessary to use such harsh words inside a missive, but to each their own..." She hums in thought. She'd then fold up the missive and place it upon another stack of discarded missives. "My time is strung thin, there are more important things that need my attention right now." The woman secures a pair of purple hued, Ferrum giggles to her head and clips her cloak around her neck, the midnight material flowing down her back. Walking towards the crib in the corner of the room, she uses a soft voice to speak to her three year old son. "Ready to go see Papi, Evander?" The boy in question, looks up with a sparkle in his eyes, clapping his hands ecstatically. "Yaaaay! Papi!" He exclaims in his toddler tongue. Heaving her son out of the crib, Aurora then turns around and walks out the bedroom, the future unknown and a battle to fight.
  18. Amara Fenwarin sighs with a shake of her head. "Quite the hefty pot of poop you got yourself in." she says softly, more to herself and sets the missive to the side. The elfess then lifts her head, sniffing the air. "MY COOKIES!! NOOOO!"
  19. As a moderator for several other servers, I can confidently in some situations as being permanently banned for something you have said years ago is a little pathetic and quite a waste of time. There are some people who want peace and some people who want to cause drama, and doing what is mentioned above will only further cause drama. As a moderator, you should not be taking things personally and ban people you don't like just because you don't like them, if that is the case then I implore to withdraw from moderation and learn more about the craft than simply trying to learn on the fly. You are required to remain indifferent and impersonal as a moderator and only permanently banning people for serious offenses. Miniscule offenses that goes against the rules may be punishable by temporary bans and an a full explanation as to why the ban was issued. There is no use banning someone without informing them know what they have been banned for. My suggestion would be a warning system. Very much like how the Forums have a warning system, however why has it not carried over to the server itself? A simple three strikes and you're out type of deal should work. I mean, the entire world uses that system to warn people to improve their behavior or they are out, no? Now, because most of LOTC's player base is of the younger folk, ages are required to be known to know how each individual should be approaching conversations and not to accidentally say anything out of turn or outright nasty that will result in warnings or in some cases a ban. The young ones on the server tend to take some things in game and out of character a little too personal and adults that have been playing since they were younger, have already learned to separate their feelings from in game content, think it may be "lame" for something as that to happen, and in some cases it reverts to bullying rather than coaching on how to differentiate between real life feelings and in game content. I'VE SAID MY PIECE, IMMA GO TO BED NOW!!!
  20. The child of Amber and Ferrum A little girl, no younger than the age of five, giggles as she runs around her bedroom. On her tail is her mother, trying to catch the mischievous child. "Brianna! It's time for bed!" The woman exclaims through her chuckles. The giggling girl hides behind the desk chair, convinced that her mother can't get her from there. "But ah wanna see Dada before ah go to sleep!" The child argues. Aurora Kervallen, her mother, stops and looks at her daughter with a soft, warm gaze. "Dada is busy with work, sweetheart. He will be back when you awaken." she says and walks closer to the little girl, picking her up from the other side of the desk chair. Carrying the child to her bed, the woman tickles Brianna's little sides and in doing so making her giggle and wiggle about in the mother's arms. Eventually the woman gets the little girl to calm down, enough so she may drift to sleep, but before the little girl slips into the blissful state of sleep, Aurora tucks her in and leaves a soft kiss on her forehead. "Mama, Can ah be an adventurer like you and Dada one day?" the little girl asks sleepily. The woman smiles and runs her fingers through the girl's hair. "Of course, my little one. You may be whatever you like and do whatever you wish when you grow up." she says softly. "Now Sleep, my dear, for an adventure awaits for you when you awaken.." Brianna Kervallen closes her eyes as her mother blows out the candle, drifting off into a blissful sleep and dreaming of the possible adventures ahead. (Thank you all for taking the time to read this!! This is another child persona that is up for grabs, the daughter of Aurora Kervallen and *insert top secret father [:eyes:]*. If you are interested in playing this persona, please contact Otakuu [.otakuu.] on discord and I will give the information for the child of Amber and Ferrum)
  21. Aurora Kervallen sits with wide eyes, the missive right in front of her. "Grandfather....she's marrying my grandfather...? Think it's time for some family reunions..."
  22. Elanor Melphestaus-Pinemaw sighs sadly, setting down the missive she had taken on the table in front of her. She cradles her little baby in her arms and looks out the window, to the clouded, and rainy weather. "Rest well Mister Solomon, May you find Miss Primrose, my mother and all your fallen friends and comrades in the heavens, and may you all rejoice together." The woman wipes away a tear from her eye and looks down to her baby girl, tending to her once more.
  23. This Persona is now claimed
  24. Darling Wisteria A little girl wanders around the garden of her home, using her imagination to see animals, people, creatures and magic. Her giggles echo around the area where butterflies flutter around her head happily. Off to the side, her mother sits and watches her with a smile, a hand on her pregnant belly. The woman looks proud and all loving, not a worry in sight. "Wisteria, come here would you?" The woman calls to the child, sitting straight as her daughter approaches. "You have grown so much in such little time, my beautiful flower. Your imagination runs vastly beyond the point of comprehension and your beauty is unmatched. Today, Mama knows that you will grow into a lady that will make both your Haelun and I proud. Today you start walking on your own, with your own concience. Grow my Sweet Wisteria, my flower." the woman says, caressing the child's cheek and kissing her forehead. The child, although not understanding quite yet what her mother means, nods her little head enthusiastically. "Okay mama!" Wisteria Adeline Pinemaw runs off into the garden, giggling with happiness all the way and oblivious to the adventure that lays in front of her.... (Hi there! This is a child persona that is up for grabs! If you are interested in playing this delicate little flower, please either message Otakuu or Harfleurette on Discord for more details! Happy roleplaying!)
