  4. A Scion Spouting, A sharpened dagger thrown down swiftly upon the tree branch, severing it completely and quickly. The Mali'Ame then places the branch to the side, going to take a few more cutting from the tree. She kneels down, picking up a shoot that she had dissected from the mother plant. The dagger is then used to begin shaving the bark off of the branch that she had picked. Not too large, though not a small branch either - Perfect for her purpose in mind. As all bark had been removed from a few inches from the bottom, the Puerokar then begins to pick off almost every leaf upon the branch except those near the top. Once finished with the task, she moves onto dipping the branch into raw honey as to promote their roots to grow, placing the branch then into a pot of soil and adding slightly more as to cover the area it was planted. Leaning down to pick up another branch, she repeats the process ad nauseum for the few cuttings that she had taken from the tree, taking a rather long time to do so. Yet, as she finishes, she stands to stretch her barely aged back and walk to the side to retrieve her ferrous watering can already filled with water. Returning to the scene, she tips it slightly with an inclination of her wrist and aims for the potted soil, the water pouring quickly into each pot as she moves along them, keeping the soil moist for the sprigs to begin growing into trees - At the least, one of them to begin growing. And so, the process began of watering each scion of the plant each day, hoping that one would begin to grow roots which could then be planted into the soil, allowing a full tree to grow in some years, perhaps decades if watered and allowed to grow in a spot of apt sunlight. After a month of planting the sprigs into the pot, the 'Ame returns as she had each day, but this time not to water the plants. Kneeling down, gently tugging on each cutting and seeing whether or not roots had began forming near the base - For some, no. For others, slight callouses can surely be seen upon the stems that have been submerged in soil. And for one, roots are truly beginning to form, faster than the rest of the bath, the scion's 'brethren'. Placing it back into the soil, she strains then to pick the pot up and begin walking further away from any other plant to give this sprig the best chance of survival, away from much competition from the roots of other plants. Kardem, placing the pot down, hurriedly rushes back to her home as to retrieve a spade for digging, finding one rather quickly and returning to the area which she had left the scion plant. Baring the spade into the ground next to the pot, beginning to dig down into the earth as for planting it and to begin the true sprouting of a tree. Once again pours water upon the plant, having to repeat the process for watering the plant again for the next few months.. Though, she now had to walk further from her home to do so. An opportune place for sunlight, though more strenuous upon herself. She goes back to the potted sprigs, taking a few more that had promising results and planting them, too, around the area, spread out enough as not to cause too much competition once again. Watering them, and then moving on, back to the comforts of her own home. Doing so again, and again, and again, over the next few months.
  5. A Mali'Ame sits in the Vale of Nevaehlen some three decades after having left the company of Minitz, and too, Orion von Minitz. She does not hear the news quickly, but when she had, a frown becomes of her face. And yet, nothing more, nothing less, the consequence of the years passing by, though plaguing the Puerokar not as she retained her youthful visage of health. Returning to her tasks, the news escapes her mind within but a few days.
  6. The Disgraced laughs and casts aside the Haenseni document - What a joke! She hasn't died, no. It cannot be - She sits right here! Surely just a joke written up by an Artenin or Kervallen. And then, goes about her day as any other.
  7. An ancient raven flies in search of the applicants, some from many years ago - It reaches their bedchambers, their aviaries, their hovels, et cetera, dropping inside each of their respective spaces a letter marked with the sigil of the Mages' Guild. ARCANUS ET RELIQUUM Applicant, Assuming that you have not languished nor succumbed to any mortal weaknesses, I invite you to the Mages' Guild headquarters to receive an interview from one of the established Major, Locums, or Venerata. We look forward to all those who receive this letter to potentially take a place in the Mages' Guild, and perhaps one day climb to the top of the Ordo Arcana and lead the guild itself. Come to the Guild at the earliest convenience to yourself. Your's,

  10. The Court Alchemist toils away in her chambers - Distilled water, two peace symbols, one order, one sound.. Splash! Dropping into the cauldron, she swiftly mixes the distilled water and symbols together until it seems only akin to water, the symbols having dissolved. - The heat turned off the basin in which she had used, she begins to pour the water-like elixir into a bottle for the Queen.. Cough Syrup....

  12. Is: and. Change/Add to: The not-very-obvious changes in the redlines are given in bold. Please unbold them if implemented. [Active] [Noncombat] - Mana Sight The first Veil Watchers together created the ability to see areas/things of High Mana Concentration. Using the Eminent’s ideas about Aura Sensory, he concentrated the mana in his eyes to the very front of his eyes, where his irises used to be. With that, he became more sensitive to the world around him and was able to see a black and white world where beings and structures of High Mana Concentration glowed brightly depending on their strength. Though, structures and people which/who act as true tears in the Veil will turn pure white in their new vision. Veil Watchers are capable of concentrating mana in the front of their eyes in order to see mana concentrations. In order to activate this, one must do the emotes as follows - [Connection -> Activate]. All emotes after Activation will have the mage seeing with Mana Sight. To deactivate, one will only need one emote, though this will cause them to gain severe nearsightedness for three emotes. This causes the mage to see the world in Black and White, most of it appearing gray. This ability shall only function if the mage is standing still, or is moving very slowly, due to the strain on their eyes. The scale for this ability goes as such: Redlines -This will affect the mage is able to see and only things that they have direct line of sight to. -There should be a very visible tell that this spell is being cast. -This can NOT be used to metagame. - If a Voidstalker is moving relatively fast their mana cannot be seen when using this ability. -Should combat start, this ability will be instantly disabled and the nearsightedness will start affecting them. -Anything that would produce less mana than a 5m Mana Obelisk will not show up with Mana Sight. If questioning if something would/would not, ask ST. -Spells will be viewed as gray with this activated, not Light Gray. -When paired with other things, like Voidal Eminence's Aura Sensory, they will also be seen as Gray, not Light Gray Additions to eyes: Why?!? Purpose. The purpose of this submission is to add a way for veil watchers to be able to see the mana exerted by voidstalkers when they have the living tether ability - There is not reason why this should not be so, as voidstalkers are extreme cases in which voidal mana is leaked into the physical world, as such are all other items upon the list. Before you say metagaming tool, go rally for the passive sensory ability of siliti to be removed too. And this entire ability. The additions to the eyes are also purely aesthetic for flavour RP.
  13. Dahlia's fingers grace the note which seemed to have reached her fingertips. Her eyes flashing over the paper swiftly, her face remains unchanged in expression, her gaze rather dull. She places the note carefully back down upon the table, "Hrm.." - Seemingly the only sound to escape her after reading the small note. The ornate staff, fitted with a ruby-red crystal set aside as the mage sits upon the end of her bed. From the corners of her eyes, the horrors and shadows which flicker in and out of view akin to a flame due to her nature remain. Infront of her, the still figure of Eldrin Valkas. Unmoving, staring Dahlia in her face before contorting and shifting into the form of Alucard, his gaze akin to how Eldrin's had been moments earlier. Pondering upon thoughts of them both, that which is burrowed deep into her mind does not allow so peacefully; "So What.." A distant voice speaks, mimicking Dahlia's own - But was this her own? "Do not be so weak as to care for one of them," It continues its beratement, Alucard's form being torn by the unseen abomination. "Perhaps you should do the same yourself." It suggests. Dahlia's visage remaining unchanged, for she was used to such suggestions, though her gaze dead as she remains on the thought of the boy, Alucard.
