Players should still have the ability to escape a situation. What is the point of resisting if they only possible outcome is that you instantly die? Bounties do exist, and a player with the right skills should be allowed to escape if he/she roleplays it properly.

Thing is you didn't roleplay it properly. You ran away and when they tried to RP it you dodged it...

I dodged one tackle? And waited for more RP and it didnt come. Only a kill. How is dodging not appropriate as a thief while running? He said he tried, I emoted it failing, then no rp continued... it just got killed.

I'm not against the Undead coming back either.

Individual writers have not made many attempts at collecting player opinions on what they want or what they collectively think are "cool" additions, among other things. A system that represents player interests while not holding direct power could be beneficial to literary implementations.

It does represent player interests, a bit. All those pages of replies to the lore, which occasionally sparks some changes in the lore.

But it collects opinion based on the proposed, individual idea. The idea is not a survey to determine the interests of the playerbase and what they *want* to see.

Orenian Canonism being IRL Catholicism isn't a good thing either. Avoiding making RP religions that are identical to currently practiced real world religions should be encouraged.

There's a difference between light ties to real world cultures, and then carbon copies of of said culture/religion in game. It's hard to be original, I get that. But a little creativity goes a long way.
