  5. Okay, I can understand that. I'll either find a way to work the Athera lore into allowing Bohra or find a different way to save them if at all possible.

  7. Sorry, I was not clear there. I mean lore of Athera that hints at possible Bohra
  8. Hmm... I can't seem to find much in depth lore on the lands. If you know where some is could you point me to the direction of it so I may either change the lore entirely, or use it in an edited version of this lore.
  9. @Lago it shouldn't be. I sent this to both BNK and Benboboy for a bit of review before I posted it here. BNK helped me with a bit idea wise. The reason people liked them more than the scourge was because of good organization, and the beast was not way too OP.
  10. (( Please note, these creatures would be event creatures, and nothing else. They are not meant for players, just ET and GMs. This lore has been made a while back, and I just finally posted it now. I know a lot of people were saying they want Bohra)) The Bohra are a race of mysterious tribal boarmen native to the icy wastelands of the North of Anthos. Originally encountered by the Aegisian races after one of the ice walls preventing entry to the North cracked, the Bohra are a primitive and aggressive race with apparently limited language and cognitive skills. They fiercely defend their territory from southern interlopers, often ambushing lone explorers or raining arrows on larger parties. Little is known about Bohra physiology, however they have demonstrated remarkable tolerance for pain and injury, with Bohra scouts often surviving point-blank shots from crossbows and multiple stab wounds. They also show a distinct fear of the enigmatic North-dweller known as Aruzond, a prominent figure in the Setherien time arch. The Bohra were apparently on a technological level equal to or greater than that of the Aegisian races many centuries ago, as evidenced by the impressive Northern Citadel monument among others. Some have theorised that the drakes that populated the North prior to the rise of Setherien may have played a hand in the fall of Bohra civilization, as evidenced by the tribal Bohra's fear and reverence of the mighty beasts. Before that it was speculated that the Bohra conquered the dragons, riding them into battles ultimately dominating the north. For some reason a deep connected to thanhic ore (a magical blue ore) due to a possible heavy use of it in their past empire. They now measure wealth with it and use it to paint their fur with it. In recent years, the Bohra have become more inquisitive of their southern neighbours, with reports of Bohra scouts sighted around the Teuton Fortress that guards the only known entrance to the North and at least one incursion into Malinor. Since rise of the savage northern beastmen, and later the cult known as the Black Scourge, it is widely assumed that the Bohra have been driven to extinction, with devolved and monstrous Bohra like creatures and Bohra skeletons appearing as cannon-fodder for the Scourge armies. However, reports persist of sightings of scattered bands of free boarmen along the icewall, raising hopes that the North is not completely lost to evil. With the destruction of Anthos and the subsequent submerging of the North beneath the waves it was really expected that these beasts would be entirely extinct, but the early reports of free Borha proved they were an adaptable, and striving race. One Bohra known as Pra’Pra ( Which translates to Chief of Chiefs) used his blue eyes to convince the misc Bohra wandering the north in fear of The Black Scourge to unite under one tribe in order to protect themselves once more. Not long after this the floods hit and the Bohra were sent to an almost complete extinction. The tiny amount of survivors kept swimming out of complete instinct before the great miracle happened. The Pra'Pra had a wonderful vision explaining the true history of the Bohra and how the true deity, Kata'gio has returned to save the Bohra race. After the vision was over the Bohra horde washed up on the beaches of Athera. Upon arrival they went around the land, looking for the snow area where they went deep into the forests, keeping far from civilisation so they may foster their tribe, and grow in numbers. Strange reports from Aesterwaldians of dead people within the forests near recently burnt out fires and totems suggest they may be getting more familiar with the “Metal hides” Appearance Bohra roughly resemble large humanoid boars, with the build and musculature of an average Orc. Skin colour ranges from light faun to dark brown, with Bohra often daubing areas of their body with coloured dyes. The creatures also stain the pits of their eyes with bright colours, often red. While it could be hypothesised that the Bohra's shaggy pelts would be more than enough coverage from the harsh Northern climate, they are also known to wear primitive clothes of some hide like material. The age cap of Bohra is unknown since they are so prone to death in the North. The weak aren’t spared and the chief is never chief for long. However some of the older and wiser Bohra have been estimated to be a couple centuries old. An average lifespan for a Bohra is around 70 years. A chief will live as long as he is unopposed and allowed to rule. The Bohra come in many different sizes like any breed of animal would, however they all have bodies covered in a dense mammoth-like coat of fur. It is not uncommon for a alpha Bohra to stand over 7 feet tall but likewise there are some that stand below 6. On average a Bohra will stand 6’5". The shorter Bohra are seen as weak and are rarely seen as chieftains, however larger Bohra make easier prey for the Dragons. Bohra woman also stand tall but are never as tall as the tallest Bohra man, having noticeably smaller noses. While women are encouraged to train their muscles as well you will almost never see a Bohra women fighting for the right to be chieftan. That is because the women lesser in numbers and are needed for the survival of the species, therefore they are heavily guarded and are not encouraged to challenge the ruler. EYE COLOR: Bohra eye colors usually involve a single color covering the eye. Bohra have been seen with the following colors: Red (Most Common) Black (Somewhat Common) Orange (Uncommon) - More common in females than males Yellow And Purple (Very Uncommon) - Bohra born with these colors are considered weak Thanhic blue (Extremely rare) - Bohra born with this color are both feared and exalted Language The Bohra’s language mainly consists of gestures and the odd grunting sound to indicate something to their fellow Bohra. However, a few of these can be recognised as regular phrases of which most Bohra have picked up on and now use to communicate the most basic of terms to each other. As boar-men, the Bohra lack the vocal abilities to be able to maintain a developed language, and their primitive-like culture has never required the use of one. The adaptation of the Bohra’s nose which has lead to an enhanced sense of smell has also affected the way the Bohra shape words. The Bohra primarily breath through their nose and in doing so their speech patterns acquire a snorting like vibrato. With each word the Bohra grunt and snort out the word which has lead to the conception that the Bohra have an unadvanced language. While this may be true they have adapted their communication to the use of their bodies, relying heavily on body drumming and hand motions. This could be classified as an overly simplistic use of sign language. The vibrations from their vocal cords are amplified off the roof of their mouth, called the soft palate. The sound produced is full of breath, like a yawn, but is combined with a distinct nazzle sound which in turn creates a shrill, ear shattering way of speaking. The letter Z is silent. It is just breath. Also able to be replaced with s. The letter Q sounds like ki-ya in one breath. Breathe in on the sound Q makes basically. The letter I would be almost silent. We will call this a numb tone. Mostly breath The letters B, D, K, P, T, V, are some of the focal points of the speech and have emphasis Known language phrases: Hra: Meaning tribe Pra: The prefix for the chief of a tribe. ex: Pra’Skar’Trawk Drak: The tribal prefix for the tribe Hra’Drakk ex: Drak’Trawk Skar: The tribal prefix for the tribe Hra’Skarux ex Skar’Trawk “Nur” Universal negative “Bohra” Themselves or anything they associate with themselves or the North, familiar, known “Drakk” The essence of the dragons worshipped by the Hra’Drakk tribe. “Hra’Nur” The tribe of not bohra, the bald things from the south with iron hides “Draggaa” Dragon. “Arzund” Aruzond, or anything they associate with him, such as his cave or books. Bohra fear anything connected to Aruzond immensely Ancient Lore Something felt missing from their creation, for they could not create beings with will of their own. So Bohra were ‘gifted’ to the Aenguls. The Bohra were given a haven of lush lands to thrive in. Being a small group they found comfort in Kata’gio (Kata’Yeo). Residing under the North where he had given the escaping dragons from Asulon. They worshipped him for decades to come. Never straying from the North since they wished to remain by their thoughtful saviors side. As Kata’gio found purpose in predator structure to bring balanced to their worlds. The learned a vicious demeanor which pleased the Daemon. As they slowly grew their population, a fracture happened in the world. The Aenguls became lost tied to their world unable to return to the haven with the other Aenguls. As in Aegis Iblees had fallen disrupting the balance. At first they believed they were being tested, and they all continued their work. Kata’gio in particular as he watched over the Bohra. Their population grew to the point they created a city to dedicate their lives to. It was peaceful for that time, life had been well thought out. The Bohra grew greedy for Kata’gio’s power when he rejected their prays to take flight on the dragons. So they developed a plan, thinking if they found something in his shrine they could take the power of the dragons for themselves. One noticed that Kata’gio would burn the passed on dragons bones from afar avoiding touching the bones. So they slaughtered a dragon. Unknown to their plan Kata’gio came to their city to check why they slaughtered a dragon, he merely thought they did out of hunger or need as they had before when there was low population of other creatures. He never noticed the small group head for his shrine, they made a sword out of the dragon bone, and stabbed it in the center of his shrine. Stealing what they thought was power sealed in an orb, but only the core holding him to the world. On seeing his body vanish the Bohra cheered but their glee would not last long. As Dragons in the city turned on them, becoming violent and wild. Without guidance from Kata’gio they lost focus and their peace in their souls. The other Aenguls would be drawn to Kata’gio’s shrine only to see it in shambles. As they grieved, the Bohra had torn the very fabric of the peace. They fought over the gift they stole from the Kata’gio shrine. Though by it’s dismemberment the orb they took was dead and useless. But it did not stop them from destroying their own city and breaking into small tribes as Jae brought hardship to them. Snow taking over the North. For the reason they remain to the North is a mystery, it could be fear of the other Aengul’s spiteful feelings towards them, or they fact they take the hardship for killing the once peace and harmony. But as the time grew on even Kata’gio name would be forgotten with the generations that came to pass. All the Bohra began to worship the Dragons out of fear, offering sacrafices to keep them at bay. This was until the Bohra known as Pra'Pra had a wonderful vision showing him Kata'gio and Kata'gio's saving grace. Pra'Pra dedicated his life to protect the true deity and make Athera the land dedicated to saving the true cult of Kata'gio
