Athera was dwarves but all of our events and lore and potential **** was scraped. Basically just a map with a half built dwarf city that we went to once. On the bright side, the Elves seem to have a **** ton of stuff on the map so have fun with what did not.

LOTC is a world that lives by interaction between one another. The raid 'limit' is supposed to protect role-play. However, if raids are done correctly, where everything is properly rped then there should be no issue. Unnecessary protection of communities that cannot defend themselves should be prohibited. I understand the point of view of the 'pvp hungry grr grr' people raiding everything for the sake of the combat. Yet, through the free choice of the server that is a choice of interaction that a player can make. The roleplaying communities are as much obligated to role-play as they are to respond to the actions of others on the server. These actions include raiding. We have the villainy blacklist. Crack down on improper role-play not on raids. As raids are simply actions that should be legally allowed by the groups of this server.

An Influx The Grandaxe clan has been seen to consistently seen leaving from the city and returning with the pelts of wolves. This can only signify the passing of trials by new members. Their hall is now often filled with voices and their members seen on the streets of the city. What causes this influx in the clan is not known. All that is known, is that things seem to be improving. The Grandaxes are one of the first of hopefully many to emerge from the post-war depression. The future of the clan seems bright and its doors are open for any who seek to join. Clan Father Jorik Grandaxe sits a table with his brothers discussing plans for a feast and various other events involving the dwarf community. invites to each of these will soon be sent and the hall will soon be filled with dwedmar of all clans and all parts of the city.

Personally, I believe that the lack of a defined technique in an RP default situation makes for long and unnecessary altercations. I recognize the movement on the server awards an anti-raiding standpoint. However, I do believe that the odds are incredibly stacked against the attacker side to begin with and raising the cap to 10 would only emphasize this fact. Although I am not fond of an over amount of protection from outside elements to those who would choose not to protect themselves, I have run into little issue with defender default. Not because I agree with it, but because its existence has discouraged combat as a whole. Whether that be the mission of its introduction or not. In general, I believe that if we are to pursue a more uniform conduct of combat on the server, guidelines beyond just "don't power game" for RP combat should be put in place.

They left the map because the file was corrupted. The most i've seen was a download of spawn besides that it doesn't exist from what I know.

The community will adjust to any change and has before. I think we may all be slightly scared of what the update will change about the game. But hey, we felt the same way about the sprinting update and the hunger update. Its all just par for the course

Nah Im not saying identical do it like the north but have events like the Red Realm that involve massive involvement of players and staff teams as a whole. The Red Realm proved to be a time where a ton of people were on and to me it was a lot of fun.
