Darkspawn (Spook) testing should be allowed.. HOWEVER I firmly believe that there should be much more roleplay involved with this type of testing that is and can be abused. Let's say the Paladins or Templars or whatever Canonist authority comes along to an allied City; and they wish for spook testing the citizens.. They should have to go to the council or the board or whomever is the head authority of that City and get a writ or permit for conducting such activities signed by the head authority at the time. If there is no head authority at the time then the decision should be made by the next in line. This will not only make things a little more challenging for the holy groups to go around and just proclaim ultimate authority in whatever City they're in and be able to dispatch citizens of that City based on their 'findings', but it will also provide roleplay for diplomats and darkspawn alike. Personally I do not like the Aurum blade method, because all too often as many people have stated previously, there is no pain rp, there is no risk of infection rp; the wound is healed darn near instantly (in most cases). This has become repetitive and stale and can arguably stated being used for OOC vendetta means and ruining a fresh disguise based on 'a hunch'. Adjust the testing parameters, get diplomats involved, get City counsel involved and implement a permit system; hell.. Set up darkspawn testing booths where people who are paranoid that they've been infected may come up and get tested of their own free will! Just remember that this is a place where we all come to, to enjoy good RP and hopefully provide good faith RP to others; don't let this spook test be just a weapon that is ooc'ly against one side, because it doesn't make sense if we make a holy test now does it? XD

I think we can all appreciate a set of standards and guidelines. Though there will always be a problem with 'interpretation', a word that I have seen over and over when skimming over these comments. It's a problem because you have no consistency when it comes to moderation rulings and disciplinary actions being taken, this can cause players to prefer one moderator over another, if some moderator decides to give someone an official warning point for something egregious and another mod just sends a pm being like "Yo, don't do that right?." We all would prefer the latter. Consistency is a common issue with a good majority of the teams that are established, it causes quite the amount of frustration and lowers morale very quickly. We're here to have fun, if you really want to try to enforce a way for people to /metagame/ by name dropping a character that has really no reason to be named, if they're by themselves or in a room. (Because as we all know; metagamers know no bounds.) Then you're doing something wrong. Do better! Huzzah.

Skimmed and scanned through this mess of click-justification. In regards to the cute and adorable 'sufficient' halt emote. I have not seen an answer to previously asked questions regarding moderator discretion and teleporting the player who was ^mechanically^ running from the roleplay after the halt was emoted. (I may be blind) Elaborate on this, because as it stands it's a severe gray area. Are we to assume that the 'halt' emote must also be met with an emote from the opposing party? Or are we to assume that the 'halt' emote is going to be looked at as being 'sufficient' (BS); and anyone who hears it MUST adhere to it and respond to it? Because IMO if I see a bunch of click goons in armor blocking a road; you really think people will engage with that? Nah they'll use their horse and run right through them as if they were ghosts. Unless of course you've got a bunch of people around you consistently or you have god-mode enabled. Other than that. Enjoy.

I do not care for the fact that we have to sacrifice an additional soul stone slot so that we can travel around the map. This system would be fine if we had an additional soul stone slot that was specific for unbinding and rebinding to the pillars of the cloud temple. warp signs would be better since it not only saves time; but it saves a soul stone slot. EDIT: It may also contribute to the deterrence of players wishing to visit other places. In my opinion, a roleplayer finds their respective roleplay areas, binds their soulstones to the Nation Pillars and then sticks with that area. Unless they were to be sent on an expedition; why would they want to take the time to figure out where anything is? Without the aid of horse whistles; lots of people are running unless they have an area in which they can safely park their horse without fear of them being stolen; this is a time consuming process having to SS to CT then SS to an in-between place upon the map (Unbinding, rebinding, unbinding and then rebinding to the respective Nation Pillar). It is clunky, it is tedious and it very well has the high potential to deter branch-out roleplay. That being said.. It's not a laziness thing; it's just the principal of a system that was efficient last time; to a system that has added steps AND the sacrifice of yet another SS slot; effectively leaving you with two permanent SS slots, one travel slot and one non-editable CT slot. It's a big -1 from me.
