Ay, retired LOTC player and halfling veteran:
What should the halfling community look and behave like, in OOC and RP?
OOC: Chill, accepting and welcoming for new halflings. This is very important because as a halfling leader your goal is to keep activity up, and being mean OOC won't get people to stay. Make sure you have a halfling discord to help manage activity.
RP: One village, only one. Please no more, Idk if you guys have more but it's awful to have more than 1 village. Halflings are a small race and need activity, more villages split up the activity, letting both of the towns die.
Also, you do need some action once in a while, having peaceful rp is fun but you need some action sometimes. Feel free to do town run events that will boost
If you could change one thing about the village, what would you change?
idk i havent played in like a year
Are you enjoying roleplaying as a halfling/roleplaying with halflings? Why do you feel the way you do?
I enjoyed it a lot because it was relaxing and a unique experience, also the towns are always beautiful.
What could be done to make the halfling roleplay better, in your opinion?
Like i said above, it can't be boring. Make shogging competitions, make festivals, etc., you have to get people to like halflings and want to engage in your community. That's what i enjoyed a lot, in the beginning of Axios Reedsborough had a huge shogging competition which helped establish that we were an alive race, and let people enjoy us. You also have to make sure you have properness, but don't be cancer about it. Properness is halfling culture, and it sets us apart from dwarves and humans, it's a useful thing to help run the town. To add onto that, if a newb halfling is acting improper, address them nicely inrp about it before crucifying them yknow?
What could be done to make the halfling community better, in your opinion?
idk i dont play just dont be cancer
Anything else to say?
long live halflings, don't die please
