  1. Dark Shamanism TA's are not being accepted at this time.
  2. Tahorran pulls an oiled rag over his longsword, peering at the conversationalists from which he had overheard this news. "He's wrong," the young Elf grumbles, sheathing his blade. "He has to be."
  3. The MAT is working hard to make sure that the spread of magic is being both moderated and encouraged. We're talking policy changes as I'm writing this. Hold onto your butt, progress is coming. Thanks for my medal of honor, Tsu, but I'd rather have REP.

He abandoned the server a little before the transition to Anthos. Dumped all his duties on Shift and the Staff while he went to go make some other server, as I recall.

  5. Rest in peace, Watyll. I enjoyed the short interactions we had over Skype.
  6. Add a plugin that lets me remove part of my hunger bar so I can eat

  7. Orcs all throughout the Uzg and Goi would find an unsettling feeling seeping into their skin as they turned in their tents, or atop their beds of sand. Those more attuned to the Spirit world would find themselves perhaps turning to the Spirits for guidance in their dark hour. A haunting poem would meet their ears, whispered on the ethereal lips of the spirits, and the gloomy prose would be ushered throughout the desert upon the hushed tones of curling wind. "The air shall be tainted of black fog of pure gloom, and with the onyx curl of billowed fog, danger shall loom. Slavery to our unequals, bound by true chain, the mortal Orcs shall soon know our pain." And as foretold, blackened fog would soon rise into the air above the Uzg. Those who followed it would find themselves before a small cavern, not too far from the gates of the Goi itself. Far off in the distance, a singular Orc would rub his hands together, six seats, unfilled, before him. "Agh zo our gayme begihnz."
  8. Azii stares at the paper, and puffs her cheeks out. She works the words 'Dark Elf' out after several moments of staring combined well with annoyed huffs and the noises of thinking. She shovels the flyer into the lining of her skirt and slinks off, grumbling under her breath as she goes.
  9. Are there any specific groups who feel as if the ET has been accidentally ignoring them?
  10. I have been trying to remove some of the neglect for the Orcs, but I personally have not been doing a good job with that. I will see that other actors are aware of the lack of events provided for you, and are encouraged to do events for you, and are rewarded when they do. I often feel impact-less when I play large event monsters. The goal for me is rarely to kill off your characters, but to bang them up a lot. I have done several combatative RP events, and the only way I've seen for me to get across the point that your character should suffer major bodily harm and would reasonably be afraid of whatever I'm playing is to kill the players. It's never my intention to kill players, though, and you should know that better than anyone: you and I talked for a while about the pointlessness of constantly lethal events. That said, I wish players knew how to break more than just ribs and take cuts to their shoulders. I appreciate the feedback, though. Drafting large event-lines takes time, but I understand your complaints, and I will see what we have in the works! This can be managed. Thank you for your feedback.
  11. Alright, it's been two days since I made this post, and I'd like to share my own opinions now, as many of the other MAT members have. I don't think this is going to reduce clique sizes. What I think this will do is shrink the magical community and make it more difficult for people to learn what they want to learn in role-play. Many others have also stated my opinions, such as advocating the return of simplistic self-teaching. With that said, I appreciate the amount of opinions posted here, and I am reading through as many as I can.
  12. To those who have posted, do you feel as if these changes will do what they are intended to do: reduce magical cliques and restore better teaching regulation to magical instruction?
  13. While I considered your two mid-tier magics (those two that aren't mastered or novice) to be tier 4 for a time, I was recently informed that they are not tier 4. Not that tiers really exist anyway, at this point it's just a measure of familiarity with the magic.
