To the subjects of Oren, The house of Helvets humbly requests the presence of Society at the newly built Cheval Hall to celebrate the coming of age and entering of society of young miss Margaux Renée Helvets. The young miss has come to the age of fifteen and thus shall be introduced to Orenian society in a debutante ball. Guests are welcomed to attend the event in their finest frocks and best dancing shoes.
TIMETABLE
I. Address by the Duchess
Her Grace, Lady Blanche will start off the event by giving a short speech and a brief introduction of her eldest child and only daughter to those in attendance.
II. Personal Greetings and Introductions
At this time, guests will begin to mingle and those who wish to introduce themselves personally to the young miss Margaux may step forth and do so. Both potential suitors and other young women of the court wishing to make a new friend are welcomed to do so.
III. Danse des Fleurs
The debutante will then take to the ballroom floor and accept dances from potential suitors and friends, and all the guests of the evening are invited to enjoy themselves thusly, in waltzes and so on in the Dance of Flowers.
IV. Cadeau de Lys
To finish off the night of dancing and friendship, Her Grace will be presenting the young miss Margaux with a gift to commemorate her daughter’s coming of age. Additionally, anyone else wishing to present the young lady with a gift may do so at this time.
Additionally, throughout the evening drinks, fine foods, and various entertainments shall be provided.
