Generally encouragement and management of villainy RP. I want to see more bandit RP, or more pickpocketing RP, or better raids, just some more low life criminal scum RP. Ik it isn’t something that staff can force players to do, but even just nudging ppl in the right direction would be a better start imho. Every story arc begins with a conflict of some sort 🤷♀️ and I’ve never RP’d with Billy Bob but I do remember watching him comically dance with Belestram at the Aegrothond ball once

🤤 absolutely if i decide not to PK her also yes actually. Right now I’m helping Siramenor w 8.0 as I have been for a few weeks now, and I’m also working on rewriting some of my wood elf clan lore since it was pushed out pretty lazily with flat concepts, so when 8.0 rolls around I’ll be posting that and really get a start on growing our numbers 🙂

Virtually nothing changed other than the fact that snelves are biologically now helves. Sure, it would have been helpful, though it literally isn’t a big deal that they didn’t. Nothing changed. Snelves can still RP their culture, lifestyle, military RP etc. The only difference is that lore isn’t canonized and snelves aren’t RPly a race anymore. Players would have complained even if the ST did go to them because “b-but we’re a unique active race why are we being made helves!!!”

Idk what you’re talking about regarding lack of communication cuz I knew this was happening and I haven’t been in a single lotc discord for almost a full month now.
If you aren’t in the lore discord, you can’t ***** about not being informed about things. That’s literally where the ST talk about their **** the most, and the shelf snow elf talk has absolutely been had in that discord at least once within the past few months. Since July at least.

As many of you know, LOTC is a very old server. With literal IRL years of lore and dedicated players involved, it’s a recipe for some of the most intricate, elaborate, and stellar storylines any MCRPing platform could ever see. However, many would disagree – just as LOTC is known for its higher-quality RP compared to other servers, its also known for RP that can be extremely questionable. So, thinking about this, I’m interested in hearing what you guys think constitutes as “high quality” or “low quality” RP with a few questions below. You don’t need to follow all of these questions and can obviously ramble on your own accord if you’d like, but they’re just some prompts if any of you are interested 🙂 Please be respectful in your responses and don’t target other players. In your opinion, - What makes “high quality” & “low quality” RP? - How can low quality RP impact the server? - What makes RP engaging? - Your favorite niche of RP? - Is there a storyline or long-term RP scenario that you thoroughly enjoyed at one point? (Preferably not an eventline – something more player made).
