      join other creative communities and/or just look around writing forums. There are always places to write, just gotta break out of the need to write for this server

    do yall have more fun at events/eventlines or more fun with storyarcs with other non-ET players? if it makes any sense. I don’t know how to explain it in a non monkey way

      storyarcs with other players make me stop and think “what would my character do” much more often than eventlines do, because most (large) eventlines aren’t as heavily impaced by the choices individual people make.

      By far persona driven stories are better. Much more relatable and organic. ET stories are like kitty RPGs with light mallibility touched in. Often a big monster. And even when they're not, it's still constructed with not as much passion as a person behind his own character, I think.

       

      Dont get me wrong, I like a good event every once in a while. I'm just personally much more into non et story arcs

      I’ve been here for many years and I think I’ve organically ran into an event one or two times. The events that I have been apart of, beyond those that I joined organically, were massive “mainline story” events, which are not all that engaging. Honestly, I have always enjoyed character-driven, organic, emergent roleplay over a dungeonmaster-style setup. I think that may be in part because I have never really been to many events, but still.

    Indifferent ig. Seems like a good concept, but something about it is really sketchy. Would’ve been better to consult the community regarding who’s actually on this team first. I don’t have any problems with these members, but what if other players do?

    Dragur Library should absolutely not be at CT, but I’m not opposed to it being something staff endorsed (but not protected) OUTSIDE of CT. CT doesn’t need to be as large as it was this map. There’s so much unused space that nobody’s probably even been to. Keep the resource pits at CT. Please for the love of god don’t move them or make them hard to access. Basically what @Hanrahan said. Should direct people to other cities instead of being a protective RP hub.

    hi im writing this because im bored and it’s a discussion that’s been flying around here and there and ‘cause I have no life here are some points Dragur Library apparently isn’t a staff ran project, as even LotsOfMuffins admitted she had no idea what goes on inside the Library. This means its a player ran project. Does that mean anyone can get their own protected library at the Cloud Temple? There’s an entire section of the Library that’s locked away. Why? What’s the point of having **** at the library if its restricted to average players like that? Its tucked away at the CT and doesn’t exactly encourage new players to get out and explore the land. It prevents any villainy RP such as artifact stealing because of this special CT protection add some more I might’ve missed. idk. its almost 1am. happy thanksgiving btw
