  3. THE UNWARRANTED ATTACK The Sightings of Blue Avarice of Greatness “And the blue bandanas were dug from the ground, heaved by the likes of his mortal cohort. They strode from their ruined, decrepit homeland; ventured through the misty isles of the north, shattered and torn by snow. It was them -- the Reivers. ” - An excerpt of King Sugarfoot II The warriors of the Ferrymen sat in their lonesome fort, idling in parties and drinks. Famed in the lands as fierce warriors, we looked to the skies and saw but bleak clouds, and the face of Vivian Maelstrom in shackles. It was bound by our will that she was commended to great pain and suffering, for her insufferable crimes of torment to her people of Talon’s Grotto and the kind of Juan Pablo, attempting to burn him alive for no apparent reason. Take into account, us Ferrymen do not sway the politics of others. We have our own agendas, goals and politics. We keep to ourselves and do not interfere with the movement of other nations. So, why attempt to touch our politics? We do not have time to stomp on the vile cockroaches entering our fortress kitchen, like rodents. That is what you are, rodents interfering with something they should not. We do not take nicely to our brothers-in-arms being threatened, we are family. She dared lay hand - or even attempted to - harm our comrade. In response, we showed penance by capturing the insufferable, insidious woman and croaking her tone into silence. She spoke with royalty, and then was met by ruin. It is the curse of bygone titans that lay waste to our lands; she is descendant to those titans, crazed and wandering with purpose to spill vitriol and evil. Eventually, us ferrymen were met with an unwarranted attack. Those of Elysium and Urguan attempted to play hero, and rallied their forces to bring back their unkindly friend-monarch. For what cause? Why did the fools of Elysium and Urguan interfere in something that was not related to their politics? Out of confusion, we fought and overstepped that hurdle. They fell, and we continued our day without injuries. Heed well, you damned souls of Elysium and Urguan. Stick to your own business, and we shall stick to ours. You are nothing. You are nobody. A prick torn away from flesh. To call you a ‘hurdle’ is insulting enough for our pride. If this was not enough, try again and face worse penance. Your untimely appearance brought rise to five ancient bandit lords once more; the bandits raised from their soil to fight on our side -- the Reivers were unchallenged, and their combined forces with the Ferryman is outright victory. To beheath the appearance of King Sugarfoot II, Dacqueer Sugarfoot, Lyulen Daemyr, Lyuathir Daemyr, Dirty Don Juan and Prince Lonan Daemyr himself. We are men for hire, we seek gold and will decimate your enemies. You continue to fight us, and you burn the bridges and opportunities of gaining our swords to your favour. If you have wars, we will no longer be of your service. Is that what you wish for? I hope this is a lesson to Elysium and Urguan. Do not attempt to fight us again, or you will be a hurdle that is overstepped once more. Or squashed. We’ve already shaved the beard of the last Grand King of Urguan. Please, do not make us shave your beard also, Grand King Levian’tol Grandaxe. Signed, The Ferryman A depiction of the famed Reivers and their Ferryman comrades after their victorious battle.

  5. Vilko Ruric finds a spot in his packed agenda to read over the missive. The old man hadn't been spotted in the capital of Norland for quite some time since he was making swift work of interbreeders elsewhere. For the next couple of days Vilko will be seen mumbling the same poem to himself in an attempt to fight his short-term memory loss. The boys are back in town .... I should hit the road, get back to town.... I'll be there when it all goes down.....
  6. RESPECT 'PON THE NAME Important Music : To my family upon the Orenian throne, I, Antonyus Helane, have come to make amends with those who have previously slighted me. To bring resolve to those matters pertaining to my family, the sons of Horen, and my own kin. Think this not as a mercenary contract, but an opportunity to unite the line of man again. As my pen graces this parchment as to seek and accept forgiveness, and alas, have my name be recognised for the prestige that is rightfully mine. Emperor John VIII holds the same blood as me; distant cousins. I, nephew to the late Peter III, am ready to finally show the overwhelming strength that my bloodline holds. In return, I only ask that the Empire does not fall to their past mistakes. My begrudged hand won the last war, we all know it did. This heart of mine desires to keep matters interesting, so avoid a repeat of history, shall you? For what is truly fun about reading the same book twice. Allow my hand this time, my kin, my people, it is yours. So long as you respect the name of this beholder; a Helane. Seventy thousand coins and a foolishly proud mind is all it took for me to turn the tides of battle - war. Pass me up again, and we’ll see that the same triumph be held over your head’s. Those nations of weakest spirit, and metal, they are brought high and mighty, under my lead. Nations who can barely deter a revolt, abruptly takes to the frontlines of Empires, as seen in my own War of the Moustache .The Renatians of old, deserved their fearsome name, their military was without flaws and they kept the roads of the realm clean, all without the help of external forces. I, too, possess this Renatian mind, a powerful one. I’ll need no external help, as I carry everything needed, in this body and mind of mine. I so kindly only ask of this, in exchange for my service to OUR people: There are so few little asks, that I do truly have, for my blade, mind, connections and my voice, but a letter is rightfully to be drafted my way from the Emperor himself; declaring me, Antonyus Helane, to be an official noble - so my name may never be slandered again, not to be donned as illegitimate - for I am no fraud! For my shoulders to be tapped by a ceremonial blade; bestowed a knight, under the Empire of Oren. I have proven I am worthy of this, and everybody knows it to be true. Our intertwined pasts will be recognized, aye. But in a different light this time, not out of disdain, but in understanding. For our differences will be at long last, fathomed, and clear for all to see. Grant me this honorary title; the Champion of Horen. It’s what I am owed. Though I understand, faith is earned, and not always demanded - so this title shall only be granted only once the field’s run red, at the behest of Orenian victory. My moustache twinges already. If agreed upon, consider this victory already secured. Even if the pagans of the North amass a thousand demons to conquer, they’ll bleed all the same. Call it Uncle Antonyus’ promise. 7. Antonyus Horen knows why but refuses to speak on the matter without his lawyer by his side.
  8. Antonyus Horen pats some lotion onto his mustache to make himself presentable for the upcoming negotiations. The man whispered some kind words to himself as he gazed into the mirror. "Look like a winner, smile like a winner, smell like a winner, win like a winner."
  9. "As long as Zhot'Rax carries the title of Rex, there shall be no war. As long as Zhot'Rax carries the title of Rex, the struggle for survival will not continue." Zhot'Rax mumbled, smiling down upon his people.
  10. THE GOLDEN REX MUSIC : [!] A mandate was spread around to the people of Krugmar and their allies. Those who dwell in San’Velku could find a statue of pure gold standing atop the throne. Upon closer inspection, it could be clearly recognized as Rex Zhot’Rax - holding up both of his arms to show off his massive biceps, a proud smile plastered upon his face. The orc would have remained proud and strong till the end. Up until my duel with Rex Akila’Lur, the Orcs of Krugmar struggled for self-preservation. Krug’s children were on the brink of obscurity, his legacy fading to the winds. There were new Rexes every time I dared to blink. It was my destiny to put an end to that, and to restore honor to Krug’s name. I made it my duty to solve the major issues that plagued our nation, and to pave the path for my successor’s progress. With Ublulhar watching over me, it was impossible for me to fail. Blood of Krug, and those who call themselves our allies: when you read this letter I will already have immortalized myself, coated in pure gold. I had a vision where I was visited by RAX himself, the greatest warrior known to date. He explained to me that I had completed my task, and that he was proud to finally call me blood of his own. He demanded a sacrifice greater than any other I made in his name; RAX wanted me to prove that I would truly give my life for Krugmar and its people. Now it is time for my legacy to be solidified in gold. As long as Zhot’Rax carries the title of Rex, there shall be no war. As long as Zhot’Rax carries the title of Rex, the struggle for survival won’t continue. Rax summons me and I must answer his call for the greater good. Many of you might curse me, you might believe that I abandoned my people at the peak of our cultural growth. To that I say: “Without pressure, coal cannot morph into diamonds.” Velkumezt smiled upon my Rexdom and blessed us with a new goi; with this single act, I gave hope to Krug’s blood for the first time in ages. With the help of Coin’Clekta’Raguk, the goblin-guarded vaults were filled up once more, and just like that I made reality of what no Rex could do before me... prosperity, after years of poverty. Other nations learned of the restoration of The War Nation of Krugmar, some the hard way. We gained faithful allies who I would've loved to die alongside. From the sidelines, we once again became a major player upon the realm’s stage. The War Nation is in a position where it can bloom once more, but it will have to be without me. Do not grieve, but cry out my name while continuing to bring honor to Krug’s legacy. [!] A map of the territories controlled by The War Nation of Krugmar under Rex Zhot’Rax. 17. PRAISE UBLULHAR. A NEW BEGINNING. The spirits have blessed us with a new goi, Velkumezt showed us their hammer and gave us a goi worthy of Krug’s name. Rex Zhot’Rax called upon Ublulhar in praises in hopes of making Krugmar what it once was. Krug’s kind shall now be on it’s way to greatness once more, BUT FIRST WE FEAST. REX ZHOT’RAX HEREBY SUMMONS ALL OF KRUG’S KIND, THEIR ALLIES AND TRIBUTARIES TO HIS HALLS TO FEAST WITH HIM IN UBLULHAR’S NAME, FOR A NEW ERA OF ORCISH PROSPERITY IS UPON US. Special invitations were sent to the allies and friends of THE WAR NATION OF KRUGMAR. These letters were accompanied by a peculiar jar of soup as a teaser of what is to come from Grubgoth Grubomanca’Rax. To The Kingdom of Haense, King Heinrik Karl and whoever he wishes to bring. To The Kingdom of Norland, King Halvar Edvardsson and whoever he wishes to bring. A klomping tournament shall be hosted in Krug’s name before the feast in search of the most respectable warriors within the cities of the allied nations. The winner of this tournament will forever be allowed into San’Velku without paying tribute. Their name will be carved into the walls of the arena and will be there to stay until the end of time. KRUG! ooc : Sunday 21st of March 4 PM EST in Krugmar (West Hub)
  18. REX ZHOT’S DEMANDS [!] A final list of demands reaches the Sea Prince and his council. [!] Bazur guided a diplomat from The Crown of Elvenesse into the heart of San’Velku. The Crown of Elvenesse shall….. Officially become a tributionary of The War Nation of Krugmar. They will pay 250 minas per cactus week to Coin’Clekta’Raguk in support of the revival of The War Nation of Krugmar. Pay 3000 minas to Coin’Clekta’Raguk for the failed attempted assassination of Rex Zhot’Rax. Unbanish all of Krugkind from their lands and allow for the free movement of orcs within it. Donate 640 ferrum bars to the Orcish vaults. Bring a grub basket that consists of many plants to Rex Zhot’Rax as a gift in appreciation of his mercy. This basket must contain at least 128 cactus green, 128 carrots made out of pure gold, the medical herbs to treat orcish warriors for the next couple of years. The basket must also have a nice bow wrapped around it. Propose a necklace made out of elven teeth to Rex Zhot’Rax so it may accompany him wherever he pleases. Offer a druidic staff, that’s already owned by a Druid, to Murdok’Lak. Grant The Rexdom of Krugmar a tiny spot in their city so that Grubomanca’Rax may have a spot to cook and distribute his famous soup. Bring Rex Zhot’Rax a dress made out of elf skin so that Munkizh’Gorkil may wear it when he accompanies the Rex of Krugmar on diplomatic endeavours. In Return, THE WAR NATION OF KRUGMAR shall…. Engage in a pact of non-aggression with The Crown of Elvenesse until they either stop paying their yearly tribute or show ill-intent towards The Rexdom of Krugmar. Forgive The Crown of Elvenesse for trying to surround, overwhelm and ultimately murder THE REX OF THE WAR NATION OF KRUGMAR. Signed, REX ZHOT’RAX
  19. Grubomanca Rising Rex Zhot’Rax swung his blade in front of him, flinging the blood from it's coated edges and breathing in the pungent smell of death. “LATZ. PIG UP DUH RUHMAYNIN’ TWIGGIEZ. WI BI GRUBBIN’ HOZH DIZ TIK,” he’d bellow, his voice echoing throughout the forest as the final sounds of battle came to a stand still. The large group marched through the front gates, the last breathing elves from the battle chained and whimpering behind. “KOME TU DA POT LATZ. MI WUNTZ TU GRUB!” Zhot shouted as cheers erupted from his warband. He led the group of 10 deep into the city, plopping down on a bench in front of a steaming cauldron. He looked around, a low rumbling coming from his throat “WHERE IZ DUH KOOK? HMMM?” he’d shout, angrily banging on the bench. A cackle went off from the group, causing Zhot to whip his head around, his eyes scouring over the crowd that had now gathered around them until they landed on the cause of the evil laugh. A pink goblin was pushing himself through the crowded square, a large burlap bag drug behind him. “HUHUHU ZHOT. LAT IZ DAT IMPAZIENT FUR MI GRUB?” the goblin asked, a smirk showing on his lips. He waved his hand at the Orcs carrying the chained elves, motioning to the pot. “DUMP DOZ DUMAZZ TWIGGIEZ INTU DA POT BRUDDAZ. DIZ IZ DA TIK TU GRUB, YUB YUB.” The orcs carrying the damaged goods trudged to the pot, and one by one tossed the elves into the sizzling pot. “GRUBOMANZA,” Zhot declared to the surrounding Orcs, pointing to the salmon colored Goblin who was fixing a chef’s hat atop his head, “DIZ IZ DA BUB’HOZHIZT KOOK MI HAZ PEEP’D IN ALL DA GOI.” Grubomanca turned, giving a mock bow to the crowd before turning to his burlap bag. He lifted it up, and tore open the top, inhaling deeply at the savory odor of the dying screams from the pot. He took his bag, thrusting it into the belly of the closest orc “DUMP DIZ IN DA POT,” he demanded, already grabbing another orc and dragging him to the pot and handing him a large wooden spoon, about 5 feet in length. “LAT ZTIR DIZ UNTIK MI ZAY TU ZTOP.” Grubomanca turned, watching the gathering of hungry Orcs drool at the sight, sound, and smell of the cooking elves. “DU ANI LATZ WIZH TU ADD ZPEZIVIC ZPIZEZ?” A handful of Orcs, old and young walked forward, each dumping a handful of new ingredients into the boiling pot. Grubomanca shooed the stirring orc away and dipped his spoon into the stew. He raised it slowly to his lips, smelling it first, and then lapping it up in seconds before pounding his chest, beaming proudly, “IT IZ DA TIK TU GRUB MI BRUDDAZ! DIG IN!” As the feast died down and the feeding Orcs returned home, the day quickly faded into night, leaving only Zhot and Grubomanca standing in front of the now empty pot. “Grubo,” Zhot said, placing a hand on his clansman's shoulder “Du lat gruk ov how mani twiggiez lat haz kook’d?” Grubomanca shrugged, holding up eight fingers “Muzt bi atleazt Azhty.” Zhot shook his head, smiling “Nub. Diz tik maykz it Azhty Futh. Mi grukz it iz tik tu tell lat zometink. Mi wizhez fur lat tu bi da bub’hozhizt Kook in da Uzg.” Grubomanca turned, looking up to Rex Zhot’Rax, “Iz alredi part of da plan, brudda.” “Nub,” Zhot continued, “Mi wizhiz fur lat tu be da Grubgoth ov da Uzg. Wut du lat blah?” Grubomanca turned, lifting Zhots hand from his shoulder, “Yub. Diz zhall bi da New Ayge ov Kookin’, an mi zhall leed da charge.” Zhot patted the little goblin, chuckling at his proclamation, “Den it peepz lyke mi haz tu git zome lat tu zkribblie duh newz fur mi.” Signed, REX ZHOT'RAX
  20. A busy crowd stood in the heart of Krugmar, one with a keen eye could notice not only the Rex's personal scribe but also his chef, Grubomanca’Rax. “Grubogobbo, mi wuntz latz finezt twiggeh zoup.” Rex Zhot mumbled before taking out a green cigar and putting it into his mouth. The blue orc then let out a hearty chuckle as he went to pat his goblin companion on the back. The goblin with a chef hat eagerly nodded, hastily starting to flip pages in his cryptic cooking book. “Yub yub, lat expekt vizitorz?” They asked as they looked up from the picture-book. “Da klanz o’ old, da frendz o’ old.. da diplomatz.. da twiggehz, da ztoutz, da pinkiez. Iz tik.” New Goi, New Friends With the newly built goi on its way, the Rex of Krugmar believes it to be a time of new beginnings. It is well known that not everyone has the most positive opinions regarding Krugmar. Grudges of the past as well as fears should be shoved aside; a new city means a new beginning. Therefore, it’s time to get off on the right foot. The following invitations are extended to celebrate new beginnings: To the Clans of Krugmar, whether old or new A call to all uruk, goblin, or olog clans that live or have lived within Krugmar. It is the Rex’s priority to make the loyal clans of Krugmar feel validated. It does not matter how small your clan is or how big, you are invited. Whether you are a Lur or Lak, a Braduk or Gorkil, you are hereby asked to come feast at the new goi! It should be noted that any uruk that believes their clan should be an official one, are also invited. To Diplomats of Far With the new Goi, the Rex will be able to hold meetings within a proper castle that shall be built within a goi. He is open to discussion and is willing to solve problems or create bonds with other cities. Now that the Rex is capable of receiving guests, he is more than eager to come to a few pacts with others. The diplomats interested should not be worried about their safety, it shall be guaranteed by the Rex and Uruk of Krugmar. You won’t fall prey to banditry within our territory. To the Following Nations The Rex would like to personally invite the authorities of the following nations to a feast where we shall discuss urgent matters: -To the King Of Haense, his Aulic council, and his guests -To the King of Norland, his esteemed council, and his guests -To the Maheral of Healun’or, his silver council, and his guests -To the Sea Prince of The Crown of Elvenesse To the Whitewashes, Scattered Through the Realm The Rex has promised that any whitewash who believe that they have been brandished the foul name unrightfully shall be received as well in Krugmar. They can present their case to the Rex and attempt to prove their innocence. If you are proven innocent, you will be welcomed back behind the walls of Krugmar. If it so happens that your case is denied, you shall be escorted out and sent on your way. Now or never Though sent to many, this invitation should not be taken for granted. This is a one-time invitation to any and all. If you don’t take us up on this invitation, yet you ask for one shortly after this event, then don’t expect us Orcs to take it. If you can’t value this invitation and shall only care later when we are useful to you, then don’t bother at all. You can take this chance now, it shall be the only one for the oncoming period. Signed, REX ZHOT’RAX
  21. Codes of Krug Might Makes Right: Martial ability rules in Krugmar. Any decision, action or opinion can be opposed and changed by the Honour Klomp. For someone to refuse an honour klomp and continue life un-changed would be dishonourable and a sign of significant weakness. Stick to your word: An Orc who promises to do something with another Orc must uphold their promise, unless given permission from those that they promised to make an exception. None Orcs and the weak are, however, allowed to be lied to. Insults are a challenge to combat: For anyone to insult an Orc is the same as challenging them to a fight. Anyone who is willing to give an insult, but not a fight, is weak and dishonourable Weakness is Dishonourable: Anyone born frail or crippled is weak and should be cast into the wilderness to die. Should the child manage to make it’s way home it is then considered strong. Anyone who finds themselves maimed or made weak throughout their life must, as soon as possible, go and prove they are not weak and thusly not a burden on their kin. If they fail, or do not, they must find an honourable death as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Obey Your Betters: An Orc who holds a higher title in Krugmar than you must be obeyed, unless you challenge them to an honour klomp. However, if in a situation where a klomp would be impractical and can not be done immediately, such as in battle or in/defending a raid, the Orc must obey. Speak the Blah: Orcs must speak the blah in some way, be it an extremely thick or extremely mild version of it. The only time any Orc is excused from speaking anything other than Blah, or Old Blah, is Shamans who must translate to none Orcs during important discussions. However, a Shaman is only excused when it’s absolutely necessary. Loot, Pillage and Raiding is a Right: Any Rex who denies his kin the right to plunder and pillage is no true Rex and considered both dishonourable and weak. None Orcs are Weak: All races who are not Orc are considered weak, and do not hold the right to honour klomp or other Orc traditions and challenges. A none Orc can prove themselves to be strong over many years of serving Orcs as a slave and training. Honouraries are not Orcs: Although Honouraries have proven to be strong, they are not Orcs and would not be in the eyes of Krug. An Orc’s word always holds prevalence over an honourary’s, unless the honourary challenges them to, and wins, an honour klomp. Women and children should not be killed: Women and children are not made as warriors, and should not be slain in cold blood in instances such as raids. The only time they may be killed is if it would save the life of a fellow Orc, or if they attack you and leave you no choice but to slay them. Kneeling, or forcing someone to kneel is weak and dishonourable: Any Orc who kneels has forfeited their life, not matter the situation and to even the Rex. Equally, no Orc should demand someone to kneel as this is a symbol of being unable to gain respect and loyalty through action alone. Slaves are Property: A slave is the property of an Orc or a Clan. A slave holds as much right as a broomstick. However, an Orc is not allowed to permanently damage another Orc or Clan’s slave. If they do, they must give adequate compensation until the owner of the slave considers it enough. An Orc is allowed to demand punishment if the slave shows disrespect of any kind, and must not be refused this right. Whitewashes: An Orc who has shown they are dishonourable and/or weak will be branded as a whitewash, an Orc without rights and an enemy to Krug. They must be slain by any honourable Orc as soon as the adequate opportunity presents itself and no Orc is allowed to commune with them unless to bring them to see the Rex for punishment. Signed, REX ZHOT’RAX

The War Nation of Krugmar shall refrain from entering into conflict with any Iron Accord member state, if conflict is had the Kingdom of Norland shall immediately make attempts to coordinate diplomatic solutions. The Kingdom of Norland will not partake in any potential conflict between the Iron Accord and the War Nation of Krugmar, unless it is a war of aggression against a member of the Iron Accord. Signed, Caedric Edvardsson, Hand of the King In the name of, Halvar Edvardsson, King of Norland, Duke of Varhelm, Protector of Highlanders Zhot’Rax, Rex of the War Nation of Krugmar
  24. REX Zhot'Rax sat in the capital of Krug's people. The absolute mountain of a blue uruk was getting his tusks polished by one of his slaves as another one read the missive out to Zhot. One with a keen eye could notice a brand new elven ear necklace around his veiny neck, the orc did certaintly not forget the attack on his own life in The Elvenesse. "Ah BARGAIN!" He simply giggled.
