This can hardly describe the actions committed today. Kalenz Uradir, who is meant to be our leader, our teacher - he who guides us - is a fool; a lunatic; a madman. The imbecile, against all better judgement, has set our nation onto a path of war against not only our long time enemies, but they who have through centuries supported and assisted us. The fool openly supported - even defended - the actions of those, Rael and Zeus Ith’ael, who can only be consider traitors to the Silver City.

 

The same dolt who, with the Mali’ame - the Wood Elves, seeked to gain a treaty by slaughtering their leaders. The same fool who, without confirmed support of any sort - set to march on the Mali’ame for but his own pleasure. He believes we must rule over other elves? Why? Why would we want to rule of those lesser, when we have to rule over ourselves first. And on this day, Kalenz Uradir has shown he does not even hold that ability.

 

The King of Oren, who had made of us one request, is dead at the hands of madmen, and his armies see to march upon our walls. Look around, Mali’aheral, these walls which we have slaved upon for years, built high, and garnished with our knowledge and purity - the walls that were a hope, a shining beacon from our dark days in isolation, the lunatic puts in jeopardy to reign over wood elves.

 

What they did was not noble, it was not wise. Mali’aheral, let us not allow the actions of a few to put our lives and city at risk. This is treason, and will not be tolerated. Should we be forced to fight, then we shall, and I will lead us. Yet I will not stand to allow this fool to misguide us any further.

Finally, I declare Kalenz Uradir a traitor to Haelun’or, incompetent, and challenge him for his position of Sohaer.
