The United Soviet States of Russia

 

With the recent announcement of the official joining of the USSR into the ICC with Indochina, many people rejoice and celebrate at this great achievement for the Russian people, The propaganda is widely spread as the citizens of Russia are greatly encouraged to move to having a larger population, in the recent years Russia's population has increased by roughly 9,000 increasing the total population of the USSR to 71,000. With the medicinal assistance from the USSR's new allies along with propaganda the population is estimated to increase greatly within the next generation.

 

In Celebration of recent success and developments the USSR Military held a Parade through the city of Stalingrad, Tanks rolled, Men Marched, The Anthem of Russia played loudly and stoically throughout the evening.

Russia has also accepted Indochina's currency as its own, as part of the agreement to joining the ICC. The Economy is building up from a near non existent state. While the USSRs Golden Years are still some time away its people hold fast in the hope that its leaders will take Russia to great heights.

Within the Council Chambers, Chairman Vladan Chekhov and Natalia Pavlovna discuss the recent report and finding in Meldives...

As Natalia would leave the room she would walk a distance down the corridor to the Government Storage where Documents are kept or are destroyed, she stands in front of the desk feeling conflicted "They are our brothers...sisters." she thinks back to the arguement that nearly had the whole Ascension program pulled, Vladan insists that Legacy was the way for Russia to come to Salvation. She reaches into her pocket pulling out a small necklace, it would be a simple silver cross. One that only a believer in God would have.

The Indochinese Confederation

 

The established union between the USSR and ICC was taken extremely well within the borders of Indochina. It was a great accomplishment and a precedent for future nations to participate in the movement. The USSR now had the proper foundations to prosper, but the chairman ensured that the benefits remained two-sided. While the USSR started to become something like a nation, the ICC reaped the benefits from fully dominated economy overseas.

 

 

Although the Utopian presentation of democracy was partially false, the Presidium of State represented the conservative people of Indochina properly. Personal liberties were still present in Indochina, but the state had fully consolidated its regime and power over institutions throughout the country. The Utopian dream of Indochina moved the people to work harder, faster and more for the sake of the quote on quote 'Bastion of truth, justice and prosperity". The newer generation didn't know any better, they fell for it the most. Behind the mask of Utopian perfection was a country that was waking up. Over a 100 million people would give their lives for the country, a dangerous mentality for a militaristic communist state.

 

The sentiment for union, mostly caused by the successful uniting of the Asian continent, was strong within the Presidium and the pioneers of the Communist Party. They had it 'great' in Indochina, other countries should have the same fortune in dire times like these. Communist parties within China, Canada, Afrika, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan would be funded by Indochina.  In China however, the party is forced to operate respectfully to the current monarch.

 

 

It was 130 years ago that the Communist nation of Vietnam stood strong against the world's strongest power, fighting for the communist dream against French and American imperialists. The 130th anniversary of the annual remembrance was special as it was the first time that all of Indochina participated in it. The emphasis was placed on security and the heroic defense of Vietnam, justifying the increasing police and military presence within the country.

 

The Australasian diplomats are shown the celebrations in Hanoi where thousands of people marched along with the military, holding the red flag of Indochina aloft. It was not meant to intimidate, but to show their Australian counterparts what great contribution they were to the Pacific-Central alliance. After the attended parade, the officials start discussing terms.

 

 

The media was shown a positive climate during the trade talks with the Australasian diplomat and Nguyen Tan Dung, but Indochina was skeptical about Australasia's true stance towards the Pacific-Central alliance, considering their former allegiance to T.R.A.C and British delegates.

 

 

The current standing military of Vietnam was 1,500,000. But with Project Huong, the Legacy initiative gifted by the USSR, it is anticipated that with the increase of militarism and booming population of Vietnam and her industries the number could potentially be doubled. The fertile soil of Indochina was thanks to Collective Farms, used to its max potential.

 

However, Project Huong picks up a way faster pace than in the USSR. The larger dedicated industry, scientists and funding brings it to new scales. The USSR is suggested to move Project Legacy to Indochina, so that both countries can fully dedicate themselves to one stronger project, instead of two weaker.

 

Burma is meanwhile asked whether it wishes to join the Confederation through aggressive negotiations. It was either being invaded and annexed for the sake of a greater Asia, or join peacefully and keep their autonomy and rights as a Republic under the Confederation.

He had been there since the start; fought at Istanbul and seen the Reclaimers in action, saw his people turn tail from the fight with the Turks and fall back to Thrace, been there in Thrace when they attacked - he saw his father gunned down in fire. He was there when Hera was switched on, when the drones arrived and turned on. His platoon had been the first to enter Constantinople; the Peraclean rifles  proving their power in his hands. He had watched in shock and awe when the Turkish defences destroyed themselves; when the Bosporus was opened and they pushed.

 

The day they took Ankara had been sweltering, the sun beaming down on the tanks and soldiers as they pushed through the streets, securing areas while the drones butchered on a massive scale. Bile had risen in his throat as he saw the thousands  of executions, but he understood. His family had fought the Turk for years, he loved the state, it had to be done. He had watched with disgust when the incendiary bombs landed on Ankara; the city burning before his eyes as it was wracked by explosives. A nation razed.

 

But they had pushed, he had grown in confidence. His men spoke of sights to see when they reached Antioch, Jersusalem, Cairo, Alexandria. And then the EMP struck. It had been the darkest day of his life - the machines that they had relied so much upon had failed them. Shut down. But he was no peasant to strike his arms and flee in the face of defeat, he was a soldier as his father had been, as his brothers were. They had been fighting a slow retreat for days, gradually losing foot by foot as they retreated towards the Kommens Line.

Alexios, for such was his name, ducked behind the low stone wall as a bullet whizzed over his shoulder, casting an urgent glance back towards where his comrade was repairing an HDU. They had been trapped in this labyrinth by a Turkish squad for two days now and desperately needed to escape. Raising the stock to his shoulder and hazarding a glance around the rock he lightly tugged on the trigger, energy blast sending one of their assailants flying. Crying out he flung himself to the floor as one of the Qahar's shot high above him; slamming through the ceiling.

 

Suddenly, a blur. He glanced in surprise as the scraping of metal on rock passed him on the right and a rushing machine powered past him, firing at the three enemies in quick succession. Turning he granted his comrade a relieved grin; the HDU was up. A blur of killing it powered its way to the rest of the squad, helping to repair the others and aiding them to leave the area to safety.

The attendant's eyes wearily brushed over the screen, his fingers tapping slowly over the keyboard as he ran diagnostics checks on the Herodatus Station's planning. As he blinked and glanced up to the screen that dominated the Heran CS, "CS #3, R #12, HDU #47" he rubbed his eyes. A dozen of the previously red HDU symbols that Hera was tracking had blinked green, pulling up a window on his computer he patched into the feed of HDU #2349's video camera.

 

The scene was one that brought a smile to his face. He watched as a Hellenic soldier fired his rifle twice in quick succession, taking out a pair of Caliphate guards as the HDU powered its way towards another, slamming a metal elbow into the side of his neck and causing him to crumple. The soldier flashed the HDU a slight thumbs-up before continuing.

 

Turning back to a secondary screen he pulled up a rapidly updating tactical map, fingers flying over the keyboard as he zoomed into certain sections of the area. As the area re-focused he saw green dots blinking into existence and reds blinked out. They were turning. When the EMP had hit the whole station had shut down for two days, and when it had rebooted there were two or three online HDU's in their whole command of hundreds. Their men had retreated from the smoking ruins of Ankara and turned back towards the heavily fortified Kommens Line. But now they were turning.

 

The radio crackled as he pulled it close to him and spoke into it, a message straight to Hera.

 

"CS #3, R #12 is reporting we are turning in the region of ANK_24_1024_18. HDU's 44-67 are now online and advancing. I repeat, we are recovering. Directive "Byzanthion" is prepared for this section."

The South American federation in the recent months and years has been going fairly well, economy is doing very good while the populace appears to be loving the new government's progress on the world scale. 

 

Within the government how ever, plans were still being made and removed then made again for the coming conquest of the Andean lands. Troops were being trained in the conditions anticipated for the Andean's land, much like their own so it wouldnt be difficult to adapt to their terrain, Vehicles including the Rail gun tanks are produced and sent to the patrol squads along the coast and the Andean's borders. 

 

Meanwhile, the British and Argentine exploration ship is built, atleast parts of it to aid the construction while adjusts are made to the current Rail gun weaponry. Plans are made for the infantry Nano suit to be incorporated with the armor, being placed on the lower back region and powered by Fusion cell's from their guns to supply it with the power needed to make the shield run. 

 

The Asteroid operation also goes fairly well, the Minerals found there are split between both the Argentine and Imperium government for their assistance on building it and more workers are sent to mine out the thing corridor by corridor, by now substantial rooms have been mined out and rooms are made to create basic foods while food is still shipped back and forth.

 

The Capital ship is continued to be the main focus of the Argentine industry, putting a considerable amount of funding into creating this glorious ship capable of holding a crew of around five to six hundred and a boarding/defending infantry crew of another hundred, in total seven hundred men and women are put to the side for training on space for optimal functionality. The ship is equipped with all the equipment the Argentine government has, from Rail gun turrets to point defenses of all kinds; including heat seeking missiles. The armor is also a big focus of this ship making it an all around defend-able space ship and precautions along with plans are made for any possible attack on the soon to be Pride of the SAF space program.

Confederate States of America

 

Victory over the USAC happened unexpectedly fast. They would not fight their brothers, though they had poked all they could. Tanking the economy, and moving two million troops to the border had been the final straw. For to long the CSA had indulged their northern brothers, letting them scheme, war, and die in cycles. Seeing it as a chance to stabilize all of the former U.S, the CSA effectively dissolves the federal government of the USAC. The state level however is untouched, the CSA acknowledging their rights. For now the taken USAC land will be listed as a territory, as the states are allowed a new round of voting. They would effectively keep or re make their state body, and send delegates to the Confederate national government. A military occupation is not heavy handed, CSA troops stay primarily garrisoned in key cities. They would show their new statesmen trust, give them a chance to earn it bloodlessly. The USAC army is offered to return to their home states, and join the new state militia. The navy however is commandeered by the CSA, and added to their complement.

 

As promised, the CSA had let Canada regain independence. Besides a few slices of territory and islands in the north west, they had kept their promise. But now it seemed they had merged with communist from Asia. Not letting it blind their view, they offer a trade pact, and open borders for civilians.

 

CPNA forces are given a chance to rest for the most part. Though fighting had not been intense, they still were shaken. The CSA navy is recalled back to their stations in the Caribbean. More however are moved to the Canary Islands in Africa, or newly acquired Isles in northern Canada. Matters had been settled at home, and it was time for the CSA to aid their British and German allies in Africa. The six hundred and fifty thousand men in Morocco pushed with their British comrades, aiding in catching the Islamic Caliphate between two fronts. Reinforcements easily conveyed in WHALES with big naval complements are sent to Africa. After they arrive, the total amount of troops in Africa will total one million two hundred thousand.

 

With Alaska and Northern Canadian Isles in their hands, the CSA takes a hand in the northern channel. Attempting to control the trade routes, they reach to do just that. CSA naval ships combat pirates, keeping trade safe and flowing. CSA oil companies are moved into the oil rich Arctic. Setting up in areas not claimed by the NBC, profits never the less would be good. The Californian Dominion had successfully repelled a large invasion, and the CSA had stayed out of the war. Now that it was over they moved to fully embrace their protectorate. The Dominion would be separate from the state structure, but was nevertheless a part of the CSA. All of the former U.S territories bar Hawaii were under CSA governing, their goal was accomplished. Efforts to keep the populace happy increase, as the war effort dies down. The CSA lowers it's army to help pay for the navy, but profits from the north would begin to add to their treasury.

 

Back hand dealings throughout the CSA begin, all the different states collaborating. Strictly domestic, they keep their intents dark to the world. They seemed to be planning something great for the CSA, something that would shatter the states. The CSA was huge now, a state system was flawed, and the people were more prone to imperial attitudes. Only time would tell what would happen.

Canada's many research projects were too advanced and too soon to grasp. They would have to slow down their research to two small ones or one larger. Their economy and tech could not handle what they are trying to do. Maple Syrup flavored Coca Cola Soda becomes a hit however. Increasing GDP slightly, many nations found it a slightly revolting but some how delicious beverage.

 

​British Pop Culture spread to English speaking states. In the Americas they called it the second british invasion as their songs rise through the charts. They are seen as a democratic and futuristic empire. In Europe the British see some of the political balance shift to them, states following where they step. The Azores grows in size and economy as it becomes a medium sized hub. Empress Laura would be displeased to see she falls short of the dedication the Dominion has to their god. That took decades of harsh impressing, not a few years of conscious manipulation.

Their buildings soon begin appearing in other countries selling safety equipment and advanced computer hardware. They are willing to strike government contracts with the country they are within.

 

Government buildings are reconstructed with new designs and a great many safety precautions, including 1 foot thick steel mechanical doors operated via eyescan. Cameras placed facing each corridor from both ends. A guard posted at every steel door, armed with military grade weapons. And a secret safety mechanism in the meeting chamber.

Greater Japanese Prosperity Sphere

 

 

The Japanese had been the hardest hit of the Californian WOMD onslaught. Almost third of their "true" population had been wiped out in an instant, leaving only 74,000,000 Japanese in Japan, and 1.5 million anywhere outside of the nation. To top that off, nearly 30% of the Japanese were over 60, meaning no more children.

 

The Japanese race was dying.

 

The Empress of Japan sits on her throne, watching the hundreds of Augmented Reality feeds on the great walls of the Kyoto Palace. Generals and ministers ran about, desperately searching for what they would not find. Laws were put into place fining couples that don't have children once every 3 years and rewarding those that do. The population of Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Japanese city-states turned to religion for guidance - the Shinto religion.

 

The Philippines and Indonesia, though, were Muslim, and their Islamic State was dying in the west. The population of Indonesia alone was 325 million, and the Philippines 170 million. Madagascar had 67 million and was almost half Muslim, as well.

 

And there were nearly 4 million soldiers from these territories that begged the Japanese Command to allow them to join the war.

 

With equipment reminiscent of the 2040's, wearing Japan's first Logistics suits, they got onto the massive Far Eastern Naval convoy led by the Japanese command in Madagascar that had been there for almost two years.

 

3 aircraft carriers, 5 Porcupine Missile Cruisers, 40 destroyers, 50 frigates, 10 Sub Hunter Corvettes, 20 conventional submarines, 20 missile submarines, and 50 fast-attack craft launched with 4 million Muslim soldiers on transports rush Mombasa, blowing the light defenses there to smithereens through sheer force.

 

The navy doesn't stay once the troops land and attack the city; the navy returns to Madagascar, where the huge navy was going for repairs.

 

 

 

Space, Tēnno Class Cruiser "Yuki-tēnno", pop. 10,500. 50 miles above top orbit and gravity level, Ethiopia.

 

It was worthy of the name of Emperor class, the largest spaceship built by mankind. It had taken 13 years of one of the greatest engineering empires in the world to research and build, and outstripped in sheer size and engineering almost anything out there. On top of that, it was self-sustaining and human controlled.

 

*Bridge is in the middle between the biospheres and back wings. Everything but the reactors is self-sustaining. Water can technically be refiltered and reused for human consumption, but is usually just brought in by the transports from the Moon base.*

 

In the front and along the sides were hundreds of Qahhar cannon and railgun ports lit up against the night sky, and in the back were two giant biospheres to generate food. The engine room held two large nuclear reactors just for movement, and surrounded in 30 pounds of lead on each side. At the same time, the ship's panels between the bridge and main gun section were on one side for solar power and the other side to launch Chinese space fighters. Other panels are made of titanium-nanotube alloys and each room can be locked down to prevent air leaks affecting the entire ship.

 

The officers' quarters, 2-person rooms for 500 officers, held plush seats, nice beds and real-wood tables. Meals usually consisted of either chicken or pork with rice and either bananas or pears. They weren't freeze dried, as the meat and fruits were produced on the ship itself, with huge storage rooms holding bags and bags of rice. Normal soldiers slept 10 to large room, with nightstands of the same make as IKEA furniture, and well-springed bunk beds. The mess halls were well sorted and in the military type, and all soldiers on the ship had at least 3 years of space training.

 

It was one of a kind in almost all manners.

 

It was to build this that Japan hadn't sent any other rockets to space, that its government hadn't invested in foreign economies nor modernized its southeastern islands.
