Saint Jeremias' Monastery outside of Porto. A white clocked man with a Golden cross on the back of his robes enters the old church. Inside armoured soldiers all with the Golden cross across their immaculate white Iberian armour.

The Order is still a new-ish organization. Although new they have many Heaquarters in Porto, Madrid and a smaller one in London. They made their money from mysterous funds ((If any mod wants more detail on who funded them, ask me on skype. Also note that these headquarters are secret, the priests and monks in the monastery do not say a word of the order)). Beneath the old monastery a lab was built over a good meters of granite so that the common folk and pass byers could not hear a sound. There a new type of body armour was getting studied.((Mod pls))
 

 

They now start mobilizing recruiting young christians to fight for God. Their numbers now range to the 200.000 many deserters from the Iberian army, Since they're low numbers they do no focus on shock tactics, but on more tactical and number conserving tactics. They also use more light tanks instead of heavy tanks, as well as fast moving armoured cars with heavy machine gun (given by the funder).

 

They start lighting assaults on Caliphate troops in the couth of spain, attempting to reduce their numbers. They come and go as lighting never striking at the same time as before trying to make the troops paranoid.

THE UNTIED KINGDOM OF WESTERN EUROPA

The United Kingdom had made peace with Germany and it's allies.

However, it came with a price. Pax Europa's backbone had been broken, and the organization was falling apart. Nevertheless, The United Kingdom and the Iberians had hardly lost; French Polynesia had been turned over to the British Commonwealth.

But France had been lost.

Loyalist Frenchmen and Frenchmen who did not wish to be under German rule began to flee to Great Britain and Iberia, although most to the former due to the Muslim invasion underway in Iberia.

The Iberian armies, now waving the Union Jack of the newly United Kingdoms, immediately whipped around and began to rush south into the Iberian peninsula, prepared to fight the Caliphate invaders with everything they've got.

However, only 100,000 British troops remain, 20,000 of them professionals, to assist the Iberians; the rest begin to return to the United Kingdom, setting up for a new campaign elsewhere...

The Russian troops are returned to Russia, and the British government demands that flawless, Untampered elections are held in Russia immediately. Then Great Britain and Iberia go diplomatically silent.

The British Government is outraged at the invasion of Canada, and even moreso by one of their oldest and most trusted allies turning on them for so little.

The representative body of the British Commonwealth of Nations is called to order in London.

The King of Great Britain gives a speech whilst there.

"The Union States of America have invaded CANADA, a Commonwealth realm! It is outrageous, a slap in the face to all English-speaking nations!

General Patterson promised, TO MY FACE, that Canada would remain free! That they would not infringe upon their sovereignty!

Yet, lo and behold, they do!

We must force the Americans out of Canada, by any means necessary! I call for a Commonwealth Coalition to be formed between our nations, especially between the more powerful ones, such as my own, the Australian Federation, and South Africa.

If we do not stand together, then when the time comes, we shall stand alone. And it shall not end well.

We are the defenders of democracy now... as King Charles, my father, once said, we are 'The Paragon of Good'."

The British Commonwealth sends a warning to General Patterson of the Union States , and the Royal Navy begins to rally. The message sent to the American Union from the British Commonwealth reads as follows:

Leave Canada alone, or the British Commonwealth will intervene.

Meanwhile, Ireland overwhelmingly votes to rejoin the United Kingdom, and they do! The sun never sets on Great Britain! ((Pok Approved due to Irish inactivity))

British troops are sent there immediately, to help the Irish Defense Forces fortify the island. The farms of Ireland are also put to good use; hopefully, they should be able to help support both populaces in the way of food production...

The schism between the Anglican Church and the Catholic Church has been mended, the Anglicans merging with their Catholic brothers once more, under the condition that their unique customs be respected in their dioceses, and that the King be able to act with the authority of the Pope in religious matters within Great Britain.

The Holy Order of St. George is contacted; Prime Minister Yorkshire wishes to speak to their leader.

Finally, the name of Anglo-Iberia has been changed to that of The United Kingdom of Western Europa. Other names suggested were the United Kingdom of Christendom and the Imperium Britannia. These names are still being debated upon, but Western Europa seems like the most neutral of the three choices.

Nordic-Baltic Confederation

With the NBC having taken Estonia, Karelia and Murmansk, governments are set up in those regions. The Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Karelia are brought in to the NBC, whereas the Republic of Murmansk will act as an exterior puppet state. All of them have national socialism instituted.

The NBC invasion forces from both Estonia and Karelia move towards the City of St. Petersburg, as does the fleet previously stationed outside the Gulf of Finland. They begin sieging the city and shelling the military installations and factories within it, taking care to not hit civilian targets.

With the Russians releasing the nuclear waste into the Baltic, they are condemned for permanently damaging the Baltic Sea and a large portion of Europe's ecosystem, and the event is used to further create anti-Russian sentiment, especially in the regions newly taken from Russia. Filters that use radiotrophic fungi are installed on estuaries, water treatment stations and farm irrigation systems throughout the NBC, so as to try and limit the harm done to the environment.

The USA's request for an oil deal is denied after their invasion of Canada.

The NCR agents are stopped pretty much at the border, as immigration to the NBC is disallowed without special papers from allied governments.

The USA's invasion of Canada goes fairly well, with any military resistance being hastily assembled and being subdued quite quickly. The Canadian forces, joined by militias, quickly begin to turn to the use of guerrilla warfare, which proves quite effective in the harsh Canadian environment. The Canadian government requests assistance from anyone who would help.

The KAZAKHSTANI request to the other Central Asian governments is accepted, and the Central Asian Union is formed.

The UK's crew on the Jovian Moon Mission reports a successful landing, and that though they have not found any oil or such as of yet, they continue to search.

Confederate States of America

 

The coastal invasion of Columbia began, nearly ten thousand troops in the first wave. They would take what little was defenses left from the rail-guns, and secure the beach. After that more troops would stream in, until forty thousand were mustered. Well supplied, they push forward into Columbia. Attempting not to cause too much damage or civilian casualties, but not backing down if it paid off. Meanwhile from the east the advance into the core of Columbia continued. They had broken the enemies lines, and were pushing through hard. Units coming behind mopped up the remnants and secured land. Columbia was being pinched from two sides, and lost all of it coast. It would only be a matter of time until they fell, it became clear the CPNA would conquer.

 

Two hundred thousand newly arrived troops in Venezuela are moved to Brazil's border. They begin to build fortifications, and supplies stream in. Newly arrived camel drones carried the majority of the supplies, fueling off of solar energy. The CSA's navy receives another complement of rail-gun frigates, and heads for Brazil's coast. Seizing distant off shore oil drills, the marines would hold the crews hostage. Hoping the Brazilians would react, the CSA navy doesn't stray far as it sends out advanced naval warfare/surveillance drones. Any movement sighted would result in the navy pulling back, to better form for a battle. 

 

Solar roads now ran through most of the CSA, and were already paying for themselves. Oil consumption was at an all time low as going green and strict rationing increased. All forms of renewable energy were prominent in each state, supplying much needed energy. The CSA navy has been under constant expansion and updating since the rebels became politicians. First with the help of Japan, then on their own in major ports, the navy was their best weapon. Thanks to tucking away most produced ships, cost was kept down. But now the government needed those ships, and activated them and their attendant crews. Streaming from their harbors of Cuba, New Orleans, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and Dominica swelled the navies ranks. A new carrier, two rail-gun heavy frigates, and ten destroyers bolster the Panama canal's standing navy. Five frigates, eight destroyers, and two submarines head off to aid in the Brazilian blockade. The rest begin to muster en masse at Cuba's western harbor. Under the protective eye of the rail-gun installation, they wait.

 

Recruitment drives had brought in thousands of new troops. Now as many came from Latin America, the Caribbean, as did from North America. Serving together formed bonds of camaraderie, helping ease cultural differences. The CPNA implemented a new battle code language, that all members would learn. Erasing the different language barriers, and ensuring they had a fluent and well made new language for all. Most troops were armored in light weight, flexible, and advanced HUD type armor. They had modern weapons that increased accuracy with technical targeting and ranges from the HUD. Heavy tanks were being retrofitted with small versions of the rail-gun. They were ready but untested and in small amounts. They begin to practice in Texan desert, as two are actually sent to fight in Columbia. Most troops were veterans, as the CPNA had a policy and the supply lines to rotate their troops. This policy continued in the present wars, letting troops rest before going back.

The Islamic Caliphate

 

 

 

The news from the Iberian front was good...mostly. Lisbon had fallen, and with it the lower half of Portugal. But many of the brutal tactics used to gain victory on this front would, the Caliph reasoned, make the gains useless to the Caliphate if they were allowed to continue. Therefore general Saeed's influence must be kept solely to the war effort, his focus kept away from already-conquered civilian populations. A non-military government would need to be established immediately, and administer all conquered territories as soon as they ceased to be active war zones.

 

To this end, Ahmed appoints his brother Nijad as the first Emir of Al-Andalus in centuries. His administrative jurisdiction extends to all Muslim-controlled areas on the Iberian peninsula, notably replacing Italian rule in the south. A policy of jizya, or tax on non-Muslims, is enacted across this area as it is elsewhere in the Caliphate, and the new government's efforts focus on keeping the mostly-Christian populace passive and reconstructing the country after the highly destructive advance of the invaders.

 

Current borders:

 

For those on the other side of the lines though, there is no reprieve. The Caliphate now subjects the major resisting cities to daily airstrikes in an effort to pummel them into submission. The weary Iberian troops are now only able to feebly hold back Islamic forces, but a new obstacle now presents itself. The Order of Saint George is interestingly enough extremely effective, and directly due to their efforts the Spanish front has become fairly static, as most new advances that Saeed is able to make are only barely held, and in many cases are soon lost altogether. Astonishingly, a direct assault on the city of Salamanca is repulsed by the holy order, and in the wake of the surprise victory the order gains a great degree of notoriety and legitimacy in Northern Spain. In Portugal, mostly untouched Islamic forces now bear down on Coimbra, but they are increasingly facing eager Christian fighters rather than the shattered Iberian army. Clearly, this battle is far from over.

 

Meanwhile in Russia, the Islamic advance is uneventful as the Russians focus on more direct threats in the north. Having taken the Caucasus, the invading army swings around into Ukraine and Crimea. All gains are promised to Turkey at the conclusion of the war.

 

The Libi-Senussi Order now amassing power in North Africa is commended for its loyalty, and 50 Turkish TAI-TFXs are delivered for their use, along with a variety of support aircraft. The Caliph pledges to supply them with any materiel they require in the future.

It has now been several years since the death of Caliph Ibrahim, and already the difference is immediately apparent in Baghdad. Once deserted streets now bustle with life. A complex functioning economy now has blossomed in the Caliphate with this city as its center, and the wealth flowing through has led to a boom in development which has repaired most of the damage from years of war and now fuels further expansion. The palace of the Caliph, before just a fortified military encampment, has been finally rebuilt according to the grandiose tastes of Caliph Achmed, and towers above all of the buildings near it. (It contains all the major ministries of government as well as the Caliph's massive quarters, which include gardens, a library, and a not-often-mentioned harem of no less than three thousand women bought from every country in the world through the slave trade which Achmed has conveniently avoided mentioning too often.)

 

With Ibrahim's reign of terror over, scientific discussion once again flourishes in the Muslim world, but one project in particular has had the attention of the government for over ((five pages)). It has taken this long simply to develop the technology necessary to even consider completing it, but now the attempt seems within reach. Exorbitantly expensive, the project will take a huge amount of resources and time, but the Caliphate is now committed. Construction of a launch pad begins in Oman, while a second platform begins construction in the middle of the Persian Gulf. Mass production of solar panels begins for an unknown purpose, with all materials not available being imported from overseas at great cost.

Holy Order of Saint George.

The Grandmaster smirked as he saw the islamic forces staling. He makes more order come into the order forming platoons of men which were led by Ensigns, each Ensign responded to a Knight-Sergeant, and each Knight-Sergeant responded to a Master Cross. Three Master Crosses were created, The Master Cross of Portugalia, Master Cross of Leon and Master Cross of Castile. Each responsible for their own campaign.

 

 

They continue to bring more and more people in as deserters and zealous young men sign up, the numbers are now at around the 400.000. Now with a new deal signed with the now catholic british government some LIONs are sent there as well as more quick and mobile armoured cars. They ask the Bristish government to use nearby air bases to cover their attacks, especially  the attacks near Zaragoza and Madrid.They continue their lightining attacks, but whenever they feel a enemie group is weak enough they stricke with swift force to attempt and destroy it.

They now attempted to make christians rise up in the south, they offer them some older model weaponary. Although they can not give much without the Caliphate discovering it, they do what they can to start rebelions in the south.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA

The United Kingdom was stronger than it had been since the days of Winston Churchill.

But it was hardly a kingdom any longer, especially after having held Normandy for a number of years, and the union of the Iberian and British powers.

On June 3rd, 2054, the name of the United Kingdom was changed to the more polished name of the Imperium Britannia, and King William Windsor was crowned Emperor of Britannia in Westminister Abbey.

The Duke-Prime Minister in Australia is given permission by the Crown to advance his honorary feudal title to that of a King's due to the increasing of the King's title, should he so wish, although it is not the place of Britannia to dictate Australian affairs. Alfonso of Iberia shall be given the title of King as well, although under the Imperium, upon the reconquering of Iberia.

The British government and the Crown ensures everyone that these name changes are ceremonial, and that the functions of Parliament and the autonomous governing of British territories will not be impaired, nor will Britain's membership in the British Commonwealth.

British troops parade up and down the streets of London, displaying the military might of Britannia, the newly declared champion of democracy around the world.

It was folly in the eyes of the British generals for the Muslims to establish a civilian government in the midst of the harshest part of the fighting yet come.

The 500,000 Iberian troops from France, waving the new flag of the Imperium, the Influence Jack, finally reach Northern Iberia, sweeping into the region to support the British-sponsored Holy Order of Saint George.

Religious revival and fervor sweep through Britain, nudged to life by the mending of the Anglo-Catholic schism. Charities for the refugees from France are founded by religious groups, and Norman loyalists petition Parliament to create for them a new homeland where the might live free from German rule.

Parliament considers their request, and begins to debate founding a oil drilling settlement in the British Antarctic Territory. While they're at it, authorities attempt to contact the British engineers and soldiers in Antarctica to see how their expedition to find oil goes... ((Will discuss with Mod))

Meanwhile, Parliament now directs its attention to the economic crisis. Irish farms are used to help bolster food production, although it would be much appreciated if Australia would help to make ends meet by allowing the British to purchase surplus food from them until international authorities can figure out how to resolve the nuclear waste crisis in the Baltic Sea.

Oxford University continues to research condensing the LION technology into smaller models, although the energy source for these weapons is massive and currently cannot be fit into a handheld device. ((Will discuss with mod))

They also begin to search for ways to cleanse the Baltic Sea of it's deadly nuclear waste. ((Mod required))

The British Commonwealth pushes for a response from the American government as to their ultimatum for withdrawal from Canada.

Although many draftees have returned to their homes from their service in the British Royal Army, they still number almost 400,000 men total. 250,000 begin to prepare their equipment and train in amphibious landing procedures, should the response from the Union prove negative.

The Japanese Empire

 

 

The five astronauts looked sidelong at each other from the upwards facing multi-ton Japanese rocket. The one female among them gave a thumbs up as the countdown began, and their captain smiled. Behind the cockpit was supplies, a quick-build base platform and the five PhalanX1 units assigned to the mission.

 

The Mars Colonization Rocket launched from its platform near Sapporo, and if it lands the PhalanX1 units will be sent to look at the surroundings of the landing and the astronauts will begin to set up their small base.

Over 600 km to the West, the Japanese army once again waded ashore to the burnt ruin that was Vladivostok before the war began. Artillery shells imploded on the beaches as Japanese soldiers rushed for the city's command posts. The commanders had planned their attack for the moment Spring began again, and the army was committed this time with fur and wool coats covering the LAS suits worn by the Japanese, who had been in a state of warfare for what was now bordering on a decade. The Japanese navy, however, sits on repairs in Sapporo.

The base's construction was complete, and the Oxygen carried up begins to pour in. Commercial flights to the Moon on the Skylon jets used normally to transport materials begins, with a cost of 84,500 yen per kg, or 330$ per pound. While exorbitant, the rich could now go on a luxury visit of the Moon and enjoy feeling its low gravity, looking at its mostly white-gray environment, and brag that they were in space. A small restaurant sits in the base, a sushi and noodle shop that does knife tricks only possible in low gravity.

 

Research into integration of mechanical networks into the nervous system begins on convicts on death row, which would allow an external connection into hubs - essentially, a way to facilitate both a sensory-overriding VR system and a way to near-instantly communicate with the internet. In final form optical fibre instead of cabling would be used on the machine itself, preventing possible shutdowns by EMP and other radio wave transmission devices. It would also come with multiple failsafes and outs that would make certain that users wouldn't be able to be hacked or killed using it. ((6 pages))

 

Japanese AA and slightly out-of-date railgun models provided by the USA continue to be built sparsely along the cliff coasts of Japan, so that the tragic Russian missile bombings would never be allowed to repeat.

The Australasian Federation 

 

With the war in Europe over, the Federations forces are recalled back to the Federations territories, this includes all military vessels, vehicles and equipment. Over the course of the VI installation the Aegis Defense system of the Navy was upgraded with the VI targeting system to make air attacks against vessels of the Federation impossible unless in significant numbers. The time had come that now the Federation was at the forefront of VI technology and application. However the innovation would not stop with just VI technology as the first stage in the military application for Mechanical Walker IFV's was nearly complete and the second stage wouldn't take as long as the first.

 

Diplomatic tensions towards the United States were rising from the Federations borders, so much so the Defense Ministry of the Federation in secret forms a temporary alliance with that of the Empire of Japan (Bickando Approves), this alliance causes the Naval Ships not already engaged in combat to converge on US Pacific Fleet holdings with the main target of Hawaii being the focal point as it is the main naval port in the area for US shipping both Military and Civilian. The Federations ships now upgraded with its VI defense grids gives it faster reaction time to that of the American vessels and its rail guns giving it more range and accuracy meaning the Federation even with fewer ships can  take out more. The Japanese ships armed presumably with the same tech as the United States stand on par with the US ships, the Japanese Aircraft however is among some of the most advanced in the world. The Air Forces of both nations will converge on the carriers, airstrips and other targets to cripple US operations in the Pacific and  the navies of two nations presumably will outnumber a US fleet short on supplies and on the other side of the world from the borders of the United States. This Surprise attack would be akin to Pearl Harbour with the upmost effort put into making it a Surprise (( Mod Approval for successful Military Action in the Pacific against the United States Pacific Forces, presumably being far away from the US ports the ships there cannot logically be numerous nor well supplied due to lack of any oil deals with other nations. Not to mention the overstretching lines. A reminder is that this was planned as a surprise attack, with the US not expecting military action in the Pacific I'm sure that it is unlikely they would have been able to respond to it very well )) a Declaration of War is sent to the United States by both the Australasian Federation and Empire of Japan formally decreeing the United States must withdraw from the Pacific, although the Federations declaration states they must withdraw from Canada. Presumably trade from Asia and the territories encompassing the Australasian Federation cease shipping to the United States.

 

In Australia mainland the Prime Minister receives the title of King from the Emperor of Britannia, he accepts and the Royalist attitude of Australia only increases, however this does cause the Constitution of Australia to be rewritten and the Prime Minister steps down from his democratic position to his now Royal one, being a constitutional Monarch however still with significant power with the Commons and the Lords the new surge of Aristocratic Culture continues to flourish while the lower and middle classes still remain prosperous.

 

In preparation the coastlines of the Polynesian States, Australia and the Specially Administrated Region of New Guinea are fortified and the VI Alert system is active to ensure no air raids can even get close without prior warning and action taken before they even reach their targets.

Graeco troops continue to achieve success as they break through and pour across Thrace, swiftly liberating Istanbul after a concerted attack and reclaiming the city. Forces are moved across the Aegean into Asia to establish footholds while resources are moved to securing these new gains, the industry there being put to good use with manufacturing tanks and body armour for use upon the front lines.

The Union State aggression had not gone unnoticed by the New Californian Republic in the southern reaches of North America. As war erupts above them, a slow trickle of troops is sent to the border separating the US from the NCR. While it is highly probably that most of these movements would go unnoticed, perhaps some satellites would catch the larger shifts of military personnel through the country. Of the 675.000 active soldiers in the country, 250k now reside on the border, mostly veterans of the Mexican war and highly-trained soldiers out of the Australian bush.

 

They are equipped with HATE armor and a few armored divisions accompany them, most equipped with their highly powerful railguns assisted by VI aiming systems. F-22X’s also land in certain air bases near the border, however no aggressive movement is made towards the Union States and if anything, the NCR soldiers seem to bunker down and reinforce their border into an impenetrable wall of lead and ironclad fanaticism.

 

The next rotation to Australia is halved and only 50.000 men go to train, as most have now rotated and only new recruits and certain other groups need to make their way to their allies lands.

 

The NCR broadcasts a public announcement by Minister of Foreign Affairs Johnny Depp that it will not get embroiled in the war between Canada, Japan, Australia and the United States due to a non-aggression treaty recently signed. However, behind closed doors, agents are sent into Canada to contact high-profile officials. In exchange for large quantities of resources and other classified details, they will provide Canada with certain military benefits to help repel the invading american forces. ((mod plz))

 

However, the NCR does pass on any information its fleets or radar installations catch on US troop and ship movement to Australia.

 

At the same time, agents are sent into Washington and other key cities within the United States, each one with a kill-switch implanted into their head. Their mission is quite simple, these expendables will target high-profile US officials from generals to senators and other influential people. Their main objective is to destabilize the American war effort and weaken the peace-seeking front of their army and senate. They are all highly trained and absolutely fanatic. Should they be caught, a simple movement will activate the acid pill in the back of their head and destroy the control-chip along with a large part of their brain. However, should they succeed the hitmen will first attempt to exfiltrate, but should there be a risk of being caught, suicide will not be shied away from.

 

Their primary targets are generals reknown for their careful troop management, while those with a disregard for losses are not targeted. They also seek any peace-seeking senators and generals that could turn the US away from this war.

 

It is highly improbable that anything can be linked to the NCR apart from suspicion, as these men’s records are burned and many are pulled from random ethnic groups. Certain agents within the US leak conspiracy theories over the internet, claiming the US is doing this to shut up peace-sympathizers. ((mod plz))

 

Meanwhile, in Europe. Agents in Iberia take notice of the sudden rise of the Order of St.George and are ordered to make contact with operatives from the rising catholic power. Should they manage this they are told to offer technological support with certain conditions. Should the Caliphate general leading the offensive be captured, he is to be delivered to the Bahamas by means decided by the benefactor. Additionally, the Order is to leave its border completely open to any person bearing a certain IFF code and never intercept or contact any ship, vehicle or aircraft bearing similar IFF codes, that will be provided should the Order agree.

 

If the Order of St.George finds these terms acceptable, they would find themselves offered support of unmarked special operative groups equipped in unmarked power armor. While it is not told to anyone, these are some of the better DART teams from the NCR that did not undergo augmentation or bionic limb replacement specifically to be able to operate incognito in other countries. They are exceptional assassins and scouts that will fall under Iberian control either to train their own soldiers or operate on the field.

 

 

On par with most undercover NCR operations, these soldiers are equipped with suicide pills and control chips. However, their armor also has small explosive pads in key components, triggered at the same time as the control-chip pill. Nonreactive explosives, they trigger only with a detonator and are small enough to do little more than personal damage, directed towards the inside by the armor itself.

 

Meanwhile, one agent from Germany is shifted into Greece and attempts are made to access the Reclaimer city of Utopia, not through subversion but with a request to speak with the authorities in place. Should the agent make it that far and be allowed in, the control-chip in the back of his head would take over and direct communication between the Minister of Foreign Affairs Johnny Depp and whichever person spoke for the Reclaimers would begin. The DART teams that underwent extensive bionic limb replacement along with cybernetic augmentations are separated from their compatriots and brought to certain military labs, where control-chips are implanted in their brains. New control-chips. These are able, through secretion of certain chemical compounds, to reduce feelings such as empathy and fear to significantly lower amounts than usual. Renamed the Death Korps, these men are trained in the most brutal fashion possible and drilled past the limit of their once human forms. While far beyond normal human capabilities, these men are limited in numbers. Only one or two thousand of the 20.000 strong DART’s are made into these superhuman soldiers. However, should they be unleashed on the field of battle, there is no doubt in the NCR command chains mind that they would be devestating.

 

The active cloaking armor designed by NCR scientists is finally finished and begins production. Extremely expensive and resource-greedy creation processes limit the numbers and only certain highly qualified sharpshooters and DART/DK teams are given armor sets to be tested against Mexican insurgents.

 

In the Antarctic, drilling and HATE armor effectiveness tests continue as planned and the scientists at the location conclude that the armor works as well in the harsh cold desert as it does in warm desert conditions. The SEALs remain on duty in the Antarctic as they continue to protect the small NCR lab near the oil drills now rising from the slate-grey seas near the coast.

 

In the NCR, all major roads are now replaced by Solar Roads, capable of powering many cities with large portions of their energy requirements. In certain regions, life becomes a little easier with the new influx of electric power. However, many roads still need to be replaced and workers are still pulled from various cities to toil away on smaller roads, often in less privileged and accessible regions of the country. The Space Program involving the NCR, CSA and Australia progresses in leaps and bounds and most of the building is complete, as if the training for the NCR crew. Vehicles and base building materials and plans have been made and everything has been prepared for a very long stay in solitude on the dusty-red planet. In the end, the NCR crew groups up one veteran pilot, one scientist, an NDE operative with a degree in engineering and an astrophysicist.

 

All that is left is to finalize their preparations and ready the rocket for launch on a highly protected pad in Florida.

 

In order to accelerate the process, a request for a trade is secretly sent to Australia, requesting an exchange of british space program data for various pieces of technology. ((3 pages atm))

As the main part of the cloaking project comes to an end, resources are diverted towards a new government directive. This new law states that all soldiers will have to prepare for the installment of a chip in the back of their heads in the near future. While it is not specified to the public, these will be the modified control chips capable of reducing empathy and fear, among other emotions. The NCR propaganda machine churns out information about its capacity to bring the nations soldiers an echelon higher above the lowly scum that plays with guns in Europe and Asia. The crowds, already docile and reverent of Arnold and the government are appeased.
