The Republic of India

President Tandon greatly appreciated the Austrilian government for sending food, and it accepted the Declaration of Friendship.

The MARCOS forces have immense success in Antartica against the poorly defended Russian claimed land. It would be appearant to the Russian government that they would no longer have contact in Antartica.

Tandon-1 drones are sent to Antartica to help with the defense of the Antartica military and research bases. Test are also done to the drones to make them more adaptive to all the types of terrian throughout the world. (6 pages)

The drones that would be integrated with the laser weaponary and the new AI, would be called the Anail-1 drones as a tribute to the former great president of India. (( 4-6 pages four until AI are completed and 6 tell its integrated with the drones))

A missive is sent off to the CSA asking the renew of their previous offers with India, they are reminded that India, was the main contributor to the CSA's growth and freedom.

Nordic-Baltic Confederation

 

The Russians had offered surrender, but there would be no mercy for those undeserving bastards. Not when they poisoned the Baltic for years to come, and ruthlessly oppressed and subjugated the people of Estonia, amongst others. The Nordic-Baltic Confederation would rather perish.

 

The main bulk of the troops drive on towards Moscow in Blitzkrieg-like fashion, using large amounts of mechanised forces to break Russian lines. Should they arrive at Moscow, they offer the government the following terms:

 

• The lands that the Russian government had previously offered be surrendered to the NBC.
• That Siberia be released, independent from the Russian Federation, and that a new government would be set up by the Nordic-Baltic Confederation and her allies.
• That Russia pay 500 Billion Dollars to the NBC, Germany, and the Slavic Confederation, split evenly, so as to make reparations for the damage to their eco-systems and agriculture, as well as the Baltic Sea in general. ((MOD PLZ))

Meanwhile, with the radiotrophic filters proving to be less efficient than hoped, the citizens living areas of high contamination are evacuated, moved through a cleaning system, and moved into low-population areas. The people residing in low-contamination areas are provided with bottled water, and are given instructions on how to prevent contamination within the household. Relief centres are set up in them. The radiotrophic filters, though inefficient for use as filters, could be well suited to use in reservoirs, where the water is stored for the long term, and so are installed in them. 

 

Research into more efficient radiotrophic life forms is conducted, that would be to the degree of efficiency that is necessary to work on the filters. ((6 pages))

 

The NBC agrees to meet with the Imperium Brittania.

 

With so many other nations engaging in space programs in a search for resources on other planets, and the exciting prospect of finding life on other planets, the NBC decides to embark on its own expedition, and invites other UEDI members to partake if they so wish.  The target would be Titan, with the intention of searching for resources both there, and gaseous ones such as Helium-3 on Saturn. They would also search for any signs of life, now that it has been revealed on other planets. The expedition will launch in ((10 pages)), and most likely arrive to Titan ((2 pages)) after that.

Event Team Post

 

Russia's people had their eyes opened rather suddenly to what Putin's regime had become. He has abandoned his people, simply vanishing. The army has lain dormant, refusing to even leave their barracks. Foreign invaders everywhere and yet no one has acted. Perhaps those far away from the conflict felt safe, felt as if it could be avoided. Maybe the rich saw themselves as safe locked away in their private estates, deep in the motherland. Others saw differently, ones directly in the conflict. Others had opened their eyes just now or a long time ago, it did not matter. What did matter was that they were open.

 

Many loyal socialist had lived peacefully in the Baltic Sea Confederation, simply trying to get by. They were rejected their homeland, sent out on the basis of their heritage. Many of these lost souls found themselves back in Russia, but their loyalty to the Confederation gone. They had re-set their lives, growing into the normal patterns of living once again. But not their new government failed them, and the one from the past yapping at their heels again. These people rose up, not ready to see it all happen twice. Socialist rebels, anarchist, political groups, merchants, peasants and a multitude of attached members formed the United Russian Socialist Front. A single organism works better, and they at first acted under legality. They preached Russia now more then ever has to reunite, to stand strong against so many draining their lives away. This thought spread quickly, it was already what many thought.

 

Influential generals attached themselves or worked with the URSF, sickened at their government's inaction. For weeks it all spread, and finally the spark was struck. Moscow under siege, their capital. The collective groups and every other sick with what was happening rose, all coordinated well by the URSF. The government was technically still there, but has long since been a few terrified desk clerks all that was left. Some still felt a loyalty to the old 'Russia' and chose to fight for that thought. But the idea of uniting under an effective ideal that was proving to be true was strong. The army was with the rising, and for once in the last few months moved out from their barracks. Many thought twice about fighting for the already vanished old Russian government, but the army changed that. They had lain dormant and besides for border forces were largely in-tact. All the invaders seemed to forget one of the world's most important history lessons, you don't invade Russia.

 

The Socialist Republic of Russia was formally established, and their control spread from east to west. Granted many parts of Russia remained dark, or loyal to 'old' Russia, but the URSF were the ones in power. Socialist reforms began to filter in, but for now are put off for more serious matters. The generals leading the rising are soon flown all throughout Russia, along with their officers. Troops from every Russian army garrison are contacted, from the largest city to the dingiest mountain village. They are told to muster at certain points in the heartland, and for the most part they followed through. Even more recruiters streamed from the center of Russia. The people were told of the new government, and the war that was tearing them all to ash. The call to arms was strong, and a patriotic people enlisted in droves. Tens of thousands were tucked away to training camps in Siberia, to be readied for war.

 

The army was mustering in the middle of Russia, safe from any foreign aggression. Besides the main mustering, regiments are sent in force to the east. With the coming of winter, times would be hard. The siege on Moscow will be brutal, as more and more Russian army units pour in to help reinforce and relieve it. Winter begins to kill more then the fighting, especially on the German side. Guerrillas and well trained army units slip in behind the Baltic Sea Confederation's advance. They had bull rushed into Russia and winter was upon them. The army merely swept wide of their advance then cut into their behind. They would cut supplies, and raise the country behind the BSC. Unless large detachments were sent after them the troops would kill off any left behind, taking the land back. Forts not destroyed in the haste of the blitzkrieg are remanned, becoming strongpoints for resistance fighters and army units alike.

 

The Socialist Republic of Russia makes a public announcement to any invading from the east.

 

"All your garish terms are denied, we are not a people on our knees anymore. You will be resisted and then beaten back if you truly desire war. IF you want peace then we will attend a peace summit on equal terms. Lay before actual terms, and maybe a solution can be solved. Otherwise, waste away your mens live's for soil not your own."

Nordic-Baltic Confederation

With the siege of Moscow having gone poorly and the supply issue being equally bad, the Nordic-Baltic Forces retreat from Moscow, moving back towards Estonia, Karelia and St. Petersburg. On the retreat, farms and villages are looted and razed, with any food and supplies there taken with the force. They fortify in their positions, and prepare to defend.

Night-raid bombings are staged on the mustering force in Russia, utilising infrared imaging to target the troops, their vehicles and supplies. All the bombers are outfitted with as much anti-AA equipment and measures as feasible.

The Reclaimers in Svalbard are finally taken notice of, and are ordered to leave NBC territory and cease their construction project.

The Reclaimers challenge the NBC to attempt to stop them. They then tell the NBC government that they would have no issue with paying for their land lease, but otherwise they were not planning on moving.

The Japanese Mars Landing

“History was made this evening as the Japanese became the first country to land on the Red Planet of Mars. For now, we have very few reports other than some early images from the landing. We will stay with this situation for the rest of the evening, get comfortable because this is truly one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of mankind.”

“Kyoto, this is Mars. We have established communications arrays and are prepared to begin first settlement. The landscape around us is shocking. It looks like the Grand Canyon in the Union, but it seems… destroyed.”

“We hear you Mars, congratulations. You’ve made history. For the Glory of Japan! Now, what are your initial readings? One of our scientists wants to know specifically how your geiger counter reads at the moment.”

The Japanese astronaut deploys his advanced radiation detector, a remodeled version of the ancient geiger counter still used by many scientists worldwide. It begins to run early scans, boring deep into the Martian soil. For several moments, the machine is silent and no abnormal readings are found.

Then, a low hum is heard from the machine and the graphs spike. Several pockets of radiation are detected, although small, they are well above the expected levels from the sun and other means. The astronaut immediately reports to Kyoto.

“We’re picking up abnormal radiation readings, we’ll have to look further. For now, we are beginning water scans and deploying our other scanners.”

The people of Japan rejoice in the news of a successful landing, as it distracts them from the horrors of the Russian front.

The Russian Front

Japan had been ravaged from the very second they landed on the coastline. While they had taken Sakhalin without resistance, the Japanese had struggled to land on the coastline. The Russian army deployed in large numbers to fight against the Japanese. Many forces retreating from the West arrived in the East to push the Japanese back into the sea, and they did.

With superior numbers and excellent tactics from URSF generals, the morale of the army raised as the Russians won battle after battle. The Russians offer a sort of stalemate to Japan.

“Leave the war, and you can have Sakhalin. It’s useless anyway now.”

South Korea won’t vassalize, challenges Japan to invade if they would try to infringe on their stability.

THE WAR IN RUSSIA - NBC/Germany/Western Slavs

The western border had fallen with Moscow as the last Russian bastion, and now the Germans, Slavs, and NBC pushed toward the Russian frontier with the UFSR stronghold of Volgograd just a few dozen miles away from the front. The land that the UEDI had taken was barren, scorched and laid to waste by the Russian government. Resources were barren, and any sort of  supplies had to come from the homeland. There was no food left, no civilians to harass. They had all fled East with the government, consolidating themselves in the vast expanse.

Now, the toll was being felt back in the West. The invading nations, whose economies had to be shifted to nearly full wartime mobilization, were beginning to break down internally. Protests erupted in the streets of nearly every major UEDI city. In Prague, Budapest, and Warsaw protests got so bad that the military had to suppress the riots with force, causing major upheaval all over the Western Slavic Federation. Meanwhile, the value of the currency plummeted and the stock market fell sharply.

The NBC suffered similar fates, and many bold citizens began to rise up against the government in Scandinavia. The devastating defeat of in Moscow drastically lowered morale among Nordic troops, and now rumors of a potential war with Reclaimer Corp. caused a great fear in the NBC, especially after the devastation unleashed by the Reclaimers in Turkey.

Only Germany stood relatively strong, but now saw their land supply limits cut as the Western Slavic Federation erupted into upheaval. The German government also faced the horrifying reality that many of some of their most fertile lands became radiation hotzones and had to either be evacuated or several quarantined. Among other things, the bold defense of Moscow by the UFSR crippled German morale in the area. It caused large complications for the orchestrating of a secondary offensive and creates fears that the Russians may try to boldly counter the UEDI offensive.

The Depths of Europa, Britannic watercraft

The submersible moved through the dark void of the Europan ocean at what seemed like a crawl, moving ever closer to one of the ‘dark sites’ as indicated by the sea-drones.

When looking out the window, the explorers would see sea-life on an incredible scale. It seemed as though every square foot was inhabited by some type of creature. And it was as if they didn’t even notice the submersible. Most of them just swam casually out of the way as if the submersible was simply another one of them.

 

Then, the sonar begins to pick up large structures as they approach the dead sites, the cameras fix themselves in several positions, and the researches crowd near windows. All lights are turned on, allowing for very clear visibility around the sub.

The first sights were the Temples. They appeared just as they do in Greece, the columns, the marble, even the same iconography. Scans showed that the sites were thousands of years old, well older than any known beginnings of human civilization.



Then, they pushed further. Further into the dead site. It was there they found The City. A massive, urban expanse. It rose out of the icy abyss and into the view of the submersibles windows in what seemed like an instance. Colossal, sleek modern towers with rails and roads/ The towers were visibly worn, and some holes could be seen. Nothing moved though, the city was dead. Only sealife called this city their home.



Oxygen levels in the submersible were depleting, and just as the greatest discovery in the history of mankind was made, the expedition had to turn around. As the crew retreated back to the surface of Europa and stood in some silence, the crew was shocked. They radioed back to London a single sentence.

The Japanese Empire - Short Post

 

"This is Kyoto, you are authorized begin settlement. Send the Phalanx1 units to investigate the radiation zones, but keep organics in the safe."

"Roger."

 

In the Imperial Palace, a shouting argument had broken out. On one side was a group of ministers advocating sending more troops to the now disastrous Russian Front, while the other almost demanded they accept the stalemate agreement. Japan had been split more often than it had been in the past, but the split brought it growth in belief. The Empress waited until it died down, sitting on her heavily decorated chair at the end of the table. She then stood up, and the final embers of the argument died down.

 

"We wanted to prove a point to the Russians, and we have done so. Our people grow weary, and patience with the war is low. We're pulling out."

 

On her word, the Japanese Empire formally agreed to Russia's terms, pulling its army out of the Russian Main for Sakhalin and the Kurils.

 

The communications arrays on Mars, though accidentally, picked up the British Jovian transmission ((Mod Roll)). When the details were heard, it was instantly patched through the Moon's central systems to Japan's capital, Kyoto. Only the closest advisors of the Empress and those that had passed on the message had heard it, and they made the decision right there.

Japan would establish another, perhaps final, extraterrestrial base on a Jovian Moon.

 

The Moon of Earth, Hellas Planitia and its 100-mile surroundings, and the Jovian Moon Callisto have been formally claimed by the Japanese Empire.

 

The Japanese Mission to Callisto begins, with money being moved from bolstering the army to building another rocket. It would have an extra set of boosters attached and be more efficient than its Inner Solar System predecessors. It would be well stocked, at least enough for a base that could last until a supply shipment is sent. ((Mod))

THE EUROPA EXPEDITION

London was going crazy.

The government had exchanged radio transmissions all day with the Europa expedition, catching up on the taken it upon itself to keep the expedition's findings secret, at least for the time being. At least until further investigation could be done.

Europa was televised just as it always had been: an ocean filled with silicon lifeforms.

Empress Laura had to contemplate the full meaning of this discovery: The British had discovered that not only did aliens exist, but a humanoid civilization had also existed. Perhaps even a ​precursor civilization...

What technological or historical marvels might these ruins hold...?

The British waste no time. The second mothership has now been completed, and is jam-packed full of scientific equipment, weapons, disassembled vehicles, and personnel, as well as decades of freeze-dried rations and extra plants within it's greenhouse. Also included are devices designed to separate Oxygen from Water; hopefully they will create a sustainable supply of air on the new, permanent base that is to be founded on Europa.

It launches from Victoria station, with a crew of 25 extra highly skilled British and Australian expedition members, which would make the total number of British personnel number 50 in all on the planet. However, this ship is more heavily armored, and it's computer has the new Australian AI loaded into it's targeting systems.

"Colonel, Dr. Melvin, we read you. H.M.S Jovian Skimmer is on it's way to assist your expedition.

We want you to restock on Oxygen, if you can spare the supplies, and venture into the city with an armed escort. Until then, you are to defend the landing site at all costs. Use the King Charles's Dream's LIONs and those rocket pads, if need be, but if any ship that isn't British Commonwealth approaches Europa without our prior authorization, or until reinforcements arrive, you are to destroy it.

The Australian government shall be informed as well, though they will be told to keep this secret. Top. Secret.

The Sun Never Sets on Britannia; Hail Empress Laura."

"The sun never sets," the Colonel replies, shocked, although of course the transmissions are far from instant, and the government will in fact only receive this in an hour.

"Melvin, restock the sub and get another team ready... we must further explore the city."

Melvin nods, utterly excited by the prospect of an Alien civilization, very possibly much like the civilizations of Ancient Earth.

He goes to prepare the next expedition, though their resources are somewhat limited. They intend to further explore the city. Probes are dispatched to investigate in the meantime, and a return expedition would be dispatched as soon as their submersible is restocked with oxygen.

The defenses that had originally been brought along to defend the moon in case they found oil, are now on high alert, ready to defend it in case of foreign intervention. The British have always been paranoid, and they weren't about to let these ruins fall out of Commonwealth hands. These defenses include three missile launchers, and the LION weapons aboard the expedition mothership.

The cargo shuttles that had been built to transport materials back and forth to Europa have also been loaded with the Australian AI, and are used to help the second expedition ferry equipment to Europa. They are fully automated and solar powered.

These shuttles contain construction and building resources, as well as yet more food and oxygen for the expedition. They also contain three Australian MECHs, loaded with their advanced AI. They are meant to be used for exploration and defense purposes on the planet.

Though the first expedition was meant to explore Europa, the second expedition was meant to create a permanent, sustainable base on the moon in the event that resources had been found on it.

And the greatest of all resources had been found on this moon: Knowledge.

The base would consist of a number of interconnected modules, filled with the equipment necessary to sustain the expedition. Ice/Water purifiers, waste recyclers, a large greenhouse, and oxygen synthesizers.

The British government formally claims the Jovian Moon Europa as a territory of the Imperium Britannia, manageably holdable by their government due to it's small size, and warns the major powers in space, most notably the Japanese and S.P.E.A.R, that although civilian scientists may be allowed to visit Europa in the future, the current operations on Europa are currently strictly exclusive to the British Commonwealth.

The Russian Federation

 

The Eastern Front was heavily successful, most Japanese troops pinned down in the very sands those imperialists dared to step on. The situation was now in control, in the east at least. In the west, residents of St.Petersburg violently attack the occupied forces who are seemingly fatigued due to the winter and resistance from the front. Rocket barrages are send towards the city outskirts where most of the military would be, how hard was it to use trucks with rockets anyways?

 

The situation had improved as the government proposed a deal with the NBC. They would gain Belarus, Estonia, Kaliningrad and the respective Finnish regions in return of the restoration of the St.Petersburg historical border. Russia would also promise not to attack them in future endeavours.

 

The people were rebuilding the scraps. Russia had stood and still would stand, eastern soldiers meanly march to the west as a government HQ is set up in Volvograd, which would be the new respective capital. The government meanwhile searches for a new leading figure, the former Prime Minister being a popular candidate. New times would arise for Russia, that was for sure.

 

- Russia meanwhile cuts off all ties with all nations, declaring sovereign neutrality and an intention of peace. The new government recognizes the islamic southern regions as Caliphate troops, though the most valuable areas would still be under Russian control, according to Russia.

The Tang Dynasty

China

 

All of China sat, waiting for the all important news. Toddlers, teenagers, parents, pensioners - the entire country was glued to their television screens, twiddling thumbs nervously, expecting the worst. China had pulled out of the war with the US, Emperor Tang not seeing it worth the time of day for the country. Eyes stared blankly at the screens, a sigh let out here and there. Who knew that in a few short seconds there would be complete uproar? Men and women took to the streets, celebrating, dancing, drinking. Chinese dragons flew through the streets everywhere as if all of the country's nationalism had been let out at once. It was mental.

 

All this, just because British Freddos were reduced in shops to 0.93¥compared to the earlier 1.85¥.

 

Not much else was happening in China, at least to the public eye. People just lived their lives for the better - infrastructure being improved, health and social care taking an economic kick in the arse to straighten up due to the country's grand mining industry. Everything seemed fine and dandy.

 

AA emplacements in all cities is finished, leaving the Chinese airspace impregnable. The new missile cruiser is also finished,though it stays in port in order to be stocked full of missiles and weapons. Armed with 40 long range rockets and thousands of ship to ship, ship to air and ship to land missiles, it is considered to be a porcupine on the sea.

 

Experiments begin on improving China's now-old ASAT missiles - the first ballistic missiles that are able to destroy satellites in low-earth, medium, geostationary and highly elliptical orbit. ((2 pages because they already exist))

A space station is also in the works, though with having to revive China's old space program, will take some time. ((MOD)) Finally, advanced construction drones are being designed based off of India's current ones, able to exceed human capacity for labouring. ((MOD))

The Union fortifies Canada's coasts from attack and about 65% of the troops are in coastal cities. The rest are in various bases around Canada and turn Canadian citizens into Americans and give them full Union priveleges. The US also warns Australia that any attempt of an invasion of Canada or North America would be catastrophic since, well, they are quite a bit away and could not get near enough troops to match the sheer amount of Americans in Canada. Regardless, defensive measures are taken on all fronts.

Saeed looks with disdain at the two officers of the Special Tactics Unit that stand before him, but know he can do nothing. The Caliph has been increasingly using this force to police his underlings, and to take action against them would certainly be interpreted as treason.

 

"Why is Leon now under attack by the Kafirs? You and your army have been supplied everything you have requested for almost three years now, and yet this Christian order, which has been fighting off of scraps, is still able to threaten territory that should be securely within our grasp. You yourself have only just now been able to fend off a counterattack on your own position. Why?"

 

"This is but the last, desperate attack of a dying enemy. When I retake Zaragoza, only the west will remain, and I shall force Porto to open to the welcoming arms of Islam. You worry about Leon, but I have full confidence in the defenders. This war is almost over, I swear it."

 

"Be that as it may, but the most holy Caliph is beginning to lose confidence. He has allowed you to employ certain unsavory tactics in the name of victory, and it seems that they have not resulted in the rapid victory that you promised. So take Zaragoza if you wish, but if you must lose Leon to do it, perhaps you should question your sense of relative worth. You have one more year, general. One year to eliminate all organized resistance in Al-Andalus. If you cannot, I suggest you make peace with Allah, if you can. There is quite a lot you could be made to answer for."

 

With that, the officers leave, and Saeed is left staring at a wall. He curses, and calls in his own lieutenants. There was work to do, and very little time to do it.

 

The arrival of the STU was an unexpected blessing for the Muslims, for they brought fresh insight into how the front lines of the Iberian front were being run, which was relayed directly back to the Caliph. But more importantly they put the fear of god into Saeed abu Mohammed, who had perhaps not been held accountable enough for his performance. When the Caliph's agents discovered that a major offensive to the west from Leon had been forced to retreat when they met an army whose spearhead was a brigade of obese Texans, they were forced to intervene. And the results of their dire warning were immediate.

 

Saeed's problem, for once, was that he was being too cautious. Knowing that no more reinforcements would be forthcoming he had been less willing to sacrifice lives to gain victory. But this simply played into the enemy's hands. The Order of St. George had more clever commanders and perhaps even better fighters, but they were poorly supplied, out of fuel and had no air power to speak of, which in turn led to a considerable lack of intelligence when armies were on the move. They could strike the Caliphate where it was weak, but they stood no chance in a fight of brute force, which Saeed had neglected to use. Well, he sure as hell would now. His life depended on it.

 

The commander of the second half of the fresher troops was now stationed south of Leon, having been forced to pull back when the Order was able to maneuver themselves into positions surrounding Ponferrada on three sides. Since then his forces have been responding to threats as they come and augmenting Leon's defense as best as they can, but now a message comes from Saeed:

"Retake Ponferrada and proceed beyond. Air support and munitions will be provided in full. Failure will not be tolerated under any circumstances."

As the Order's forces push forward, rejoicing in their victory, they open themselves up. The counterattack hits hard, putting the power of the Caliphate to full use. Warplanes screech through the sky and soften up enemy lines before Caliphate armor smashes into them, supported by also armored Islamic soldiers. As they reenter the forested and mountainous areas, the Islamic Air Force continually scouts the surrounding area. Any force large enough to challenge the once-again advancing army would be difficult to hide from the air, and would be both subjected to airstrikes and well-guarded against.

 

At Leon, the defenders unexpectedly sally to meet the besiegers, using mostly heavy-armored troops and never failing to leverage their possession of tanks. They are outnumbered here, but the shock of their attack combined with their superior armament is intended to knock the enemy back. A similar event happens at the front lines near Burgos.

In preparation for the soon-coming construction of desalination plants, large amounts of pipeline is purchased and manufactured in advance. Most of it is laid across North Africa, but its specific purpose is unknown.

With the industry and economy of Greece having stabilised to a far more suitable peace-time level, military forces that were focused almost entirely around the Aegean are moved to the new border with Turkey and other borders, spreading out the forces now the country was no longer in a state of open war. The war had, however, encouraged a huge boost in the Hellenic Republic's military strength, with a far larger army that was now a well-trained force along with far larger reserves of fighting vehicles. While aviation is still below-par compared to nations such as Turkey, the industry was flourishing and continuing to develop.

 

A message is sent to the nation of Romania, Greece's trusted ally, with an invitation to join the Hellenic Republic as an autonomous province to gain more safety within the large nation - one that had shown its ability to take on the forces of Islam and win. Along with this, an attempt to boost relations with nations such as Italy, and Germany are made. ((MOD))

 

In the new city of Constantinople, grants are made to researchers working on the fore-front of military innovation in the area of vehicle armour, the intention being to produce a more efficient tank design that both had better armour than previous editions, but attention is also put onto fuel efficiency - giving the rapidly approaching lack of resources such as oil and petrol. Defence budget resources are moved to begin the construction of a dedicated series of defences upon the new Turkish border, entitled the Kommens Line, the project is planned as a complicated bunkers, anti-aircraft, gun emplacements and military bases, it is estimated to take a number of years to complete fully - however resources are used at first to build defences most useful in an immediate attack, such as AA guns and larger bunkers before the majority of the line. News Report in from Sydney "Good evening Sydney, today the Emu Company one of the Countries largest Private Military Contractors reported that three hundred of the testing Prototypes of the EMU Unmanned Mech had been stolen in what is called one of the biggest embarrassing heists Australia has seen in a Generation. It is believed that extremists from one country in Europe or Africa may have been behind the theft. Emu Mechs are an advanced unmanned mech type vehicle, one unit is capable of taking on an entire platoon of soldiers and keep on going according to representatives at the Emu Company. In response at the Sydney stock exchange the Emu Company took a hit with stock dropping at record levels however the Company was saved in a merger with Raven Corp and the two Private Military Companies formed into a new one now called 'Crown Security Consultants' in honour of King Dorahy and his recent ascension to the newly found throne of our great nation."

 

"Heavy fighting in the pacific continues as the Federations State Armies invade the various pacific islands of the Union here's the footage." various scenes showing the fighting between poorly defended Union islands and the State Forces of the Federation, Emu mechs are seen advancing forward destroying defensive structures, the footage ends. In other news concerning the Pacific all remaining Pacific States that were once vulnerable to Union Imperialism have agreed to join the Federation securing the region for the Federations Interests. The Australasian Federation manages to secure the Union Pacific territory, island after island fell to the well rested and well supplied Federal War Machine. These islands would be turned into Specially Administrated Regions until they have achieved enough productivity to be considered satellite nations save for American Samoa which is given to the Samoa. The Federated State of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshal Islands and American Samoa were all secured without the Union even trying to put up a good defense. However they leave Palau, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands alone, due to the fact it is Japans responsibility to take and hold them. The Federal forces look to secure the rest of Hawaii, although once that is achieved they would pull out due to the agreement that the islands would belong to Japan.

 

The Emu Mechs had changed ground warfare altogether, while India have similar mechs that are not as advanced nor as dangerous as the Emu, however as mentioned in the news report three hundred units had gone missing and conveniently apart from the announcement all else regarding the matter is covered up. Test data and basic schematics are sent to the NCR due to their technological trade agreement, however it is agreed the NCR would develop their own variant rather than making Emu Mechs for themselves.

 

The Alliance offer with China is accepted, an open declaration of alliance is made by the Federation, being China's only rival in terms of large scale mining the Federation is sure to keep good relations with the Monarchs of China. However the Federation is more focused on what is West. Another missive is sent to the Union States "President Dalton, the Union States possess a formidable military, but so does the Federation, have you seen what the Emu Mech is capable of? Do you think you could survive if one thousand of them landed in Canada backed up by air power and infantry? Never mind all that, think of the economy, the Australasian Federation provides most of the world with natural resources, iron, gold, zinc, silver, diamonds and Uranium are just to name a few of the resources we mine.How long can you stay isolated for? How long can you stay so overstretched? The Prime Minister of the Federation, the King of Australia and the Lower and Upper Houses of Parliament all give off the last warning, withdraw from Canada and restore its sovereign status as an independent nation, make a promise to my Federation, the Japanese and Chinese that the Union will stay out of affairs in the Pacific and West of the Pacific. This demand is not too high and it is the right thing to do." The missive upsets quite a few of the Aristocrats of the Militarist Faction in the Federations Parliament and class system. They however know now is not the best time to strike.

 

The Invasion of Western Canada is still just a plan on paper, however the advanced defense grid of the Federation extends to the newly controlled territories so there will be ample warning for an American reprisal during the planning stages of the attack, however these plans include the REX Project and no offensive will occur until the REX Mechs are finally ready to supplement the EMU Mechs.

 

Research and development

 

The REX Project finally enters mass production after the Prototype Testing, it will not finish mass production for some time however as the automated factories require the VI controlled systems to be re calibrated for them to consistently produce REX, five hundred are planned to be built. A New Project is taken up by Crown Security Consultants for the Federation, it is the creation of new Exoskeleton Armour, the projects designation is given as "Tengu", the project also includes the creation of "High Frequency Blades" so the soldiers may have knives or even swords that cut through almost anything. Concepts of the Exoskeleton Armour are made. Data from the NCR is used to help speed along the process of building new armour from scratch. (( Mod Approval needed ))

The Grandmaster stops suddenly at the voice he heard at the entrence at the cathedral.

The Grandmaster smirked a Iberian smirk.

"Very well, God has granted us victory, smash the heathen at once!"

The soldier saluted and left.

 

Now with the Emus smuggled through france on trucks, with new suplies they have bought with Vatican money they are more supplied then before. In the Zaragozan front where the force of about 300 Emus are deployed. The main force of invasion is crushed as they see about 60 giant mechs deployed and a good number of now semi-well supplied infantry. The Zaragozan garrison marches down to meet with the smaller invasion forces in the south. ((I'll leave the zaragozan garrison VS the smaller invasion force to Zandrew seeing how I smashed his bigger invasion force)).

 

On the leonese front 60 mechs are deployed  with more reinforcements of infantry. Forces from Santander and Bilbao two major northern spainish cities, are sent down with the 60 mechs to meet with the forces from Burgos, they do hit and run tactis which would majorly confuse Caliphate's troops seeing how they most likely have never seen these machines.

 

In a smaller skirmish, a priest, went with the troops to raise moral. It was cloudy day and the order's forces were severly beaten  the father, rose up from his cover as it started to rain the ground was wet and slipery making it hard for order troops.

 

 

He elevated his cross and the rained stopped and the clouds opened on the Order's forces. 

 

 

"It's a miracle! A miracle!"

 

The troops shouted rising up and driving the caliphate's forces away. Although the father did get shot, his cross is a sign of good luck.

 

((This is just some flavour text not really important for the campaign itself, just a way to raise moral)).

 

On Ponferrada troops are sent there to garrison the city seeing how the massive army had been seen by order scouts and civilians. Troops and armed civilians from surrounding towns go there to set up defences.

 

In Porto the troops themselves bunker down as well, creating a short of stale mate for now. The bombings are hard on the city and populous so most leave it and settle in surrounding areas where they start farms in order to feed themselves and the order.
