North Korea

North Korea accepts The Republic of southern Wales' offer and will be sending out some of there earliest prototypes of there recently developed utility battle armour. North Korea wishes to make it known to all, that they are doing this to help mend any tension that was caused during the first dealings with the welsh and Imperium Brittainia. 

 

 

The Dogs Of War

 

The First 5 battalions of the Korean Elite troops have been trained to use there new armour.
In total there are 4000 troops who can operate this new armour.

3950 are to be kept In North Korea to train the recruits that are being carefully selected from the tops of there specific military  fields.

The other 50 will be sent to accompany the old prototypes to Wales as well as to help eliminate these rogue rebels attacking in the Imperium Brittainia.

The Republic of India 

 

With India successfully pulling itself out of an economic recession, the economy was bout to take a 180. The Indian moves created new jobs as well as helped boost exports almost 15%. India's space industry was booming as well! With a new moon base established it looked like India may have finally caught up with some of its old allies and some of its enemies! Now with the Indian and Orion project completed two new ships are placed into production. ((4 pages I am pretty sure)) Tandon looked to hold space dominance now with most projects being turned towards space. 

 

 

With the Caliphate surrender Tandon was pleased with the rest of the world but pretty damn pissed at the Order of St. George. Massacring millions of people because they couldn't get control of Holy Sites? How absurd. All missionaries formally sent into Indian by the Order are rounded up, and deported back to Porto. For those who fought deportation they would be shot on the spot. No mercy would be shown to the Catholics, not until they showed mercy on the Caliphate. 

 

The newly modernized Indian navy is shown patrolling the waters, this would debut the ICC submarines that had finished and been under production for sometime now. 

 

Project Hellfire is completed and under production.

Remnants

 

Predicting now they would be targeted for their attacks in Wales and Britain, they would now move to find a welsh border patrol, 

Given the order the attacking remnant squad would move inwards firing at will upon the patrol.

Shortly after some few seconds the attack ends with several 'Thuds' as the patrol falls to the floor now riddled with bullets, they would be moved into a van, and an envoy of the remnants would now take them to the welsh govenment, speaking

''These are the ones who committed the terrible crimes upon the British imperium, it is nothing the remnants had anything to do with. If you wish our help further, we request that you open a base up in hills for us, and offer us some men,'' 

 

Now walking out only to be arrested by the guards, the Envoy would during interrogation speak that the dead welsh guards -Where- infact the ones to pull off the crime, and that the Remnants had been tracking them since the attacks! 

 

The rest of the remnants minus a few 'leader types' now abandon the envoy, would move to smuggle their small-arms and once more themselves to North Korea hoping to seek refuge there, contacting their government asking for arms and ammunition on terms they will help train the lesser equipped soldiers of the state, although not making their present location clear for the now!

Orion Production Update

Cosmodromes Taurus, Centauri, Draco, and Castillo in Japan, Ethiopia, Porto, and Greece respectively, all near completion. All facilities are built and most are fully operational. Final preparations are made for the full opening of each cosmodrome. (1 page.)

 

The expansion of the Polaris cosmodrome in Britannia is finished and all additional systems are brough online and at full functioning capacity.

Republic of Southern Wales

 

 

With tension rising due to the Remnants and the attacks by the supposed A-Wall Welsh troops, the republic decides to shut all of its borders under great stress, patrols are now made frequent along the shores of Swansea and the border to North Wales. None are to be permitted to enter or leave the area without sufficient government permission, the republic allow the Remnants to reside within Southern Wales on the condition that they remain to the military forts given to them, they are put under strict watch by S.W.A.M troopers and are not to go outside of the perimeter without permission, if they are to break this they are to be fired upon, the republic would also like to request a private meeting with the commander to discuss recent conflicts.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA

 

 

The attacks by the French Foreign Legion remnants were harmful and terrifying. But their damage was not as great as they might have hoped.

 

After 20 minutes of unchecked violence, citizens of Birmingham begin to arm themselves with their own personal firearms, the anti-firearm laws in England having been repealed over 40 years ago. They take to the streets to combat the insurgents.

 

They were citizens of one of the most powerful nations in the world, if not the overall most powerful. And 50 under-equipped terrorists would not defeat them.

 

Soon after the citizens begin to fight the insurgents, anti-terrorism police with equipment on-par with that of the Imperial military would arrive on the scene, dismounting from their armored cars and launching tear gas into the streets over the heads of the civilian resistance in hopes of quelling the rebels. Their LIONCUB rifles would also tear into the terrorists, the powerful energy weapons making short work of them as they lack the proper military grade body armor to protect against them.

 

Several dropships and gunships from the military, not 40 miles away from Birmingham, begin to hover around the city, prepared to target the insurgents and land troops if things got out of hand.

 

All-in-all, the Remnants would be forced to either retreat from the city after inflicting a moderate number of civilian casualties, or lose their lives. They would most likely take a moderate number of loses in the attack attempt as well.

The Imperium Britannia mourns the loss of these civilians. Due to the powerful protective VI guarding the British cyber systems, the message would have been heard, but would have not disrupted any daily functions nor broken through their defensive web.

 

As a precaution, Prime Minister Ashley Philip and the Empress are quickly moved to an incredibly secret bunker deep beneath Windsor Castle, which has long since been bulletproofed and been outfitted with defensive armaments in order to protect the Empress and the cabinet. Soldiers are stationed along the walls, LION IIs and automated missile launchers prepared at all times. All within the castle are background checked, and any person who has had any involvement with any anti-Britannian organization would quickly and soundly be evicted from the castle before the two's arrival.

MI-6, one of the world's most powerful intelligence agencies, immediately begins digging around as they attempt to uncover the truth about these terrorists. The attack in Ukraine had occurred not a few days before the atrocities committed in Birmingham; perhaps there was a connection?

 

But then again, it very well could have been Welsh soldiers... But would the Welsh seriously do such a thing with 300,000 of some of the world's best soldiers and combat machines, from both Britannia and Australia, so close to their border?

 

There must be a connection, agents think to themselves.

 

Investigation would continue in attempting to unveil these terrorists' true identity.

South Wales is sent a missive from the British government, stating that the British do not believe that it was they who had committed these atrocities and accept their apology, simply because they do not think that their government would do such a stupid thing.

 

However, they are told to beware involvement in Britannia's affairs. Another rouge outbreak would not be tolerated, and it would severely mangle the good relations that Britannia have attempted to foster with the Republic of Wales.

 

The British government has also received intelligence about the fort being constructed in Wales for the remnants of the French Foreign Legion. This action is under great scrutiny by MI-6, who begin to consider them as prime suspects in what has become known as "The Birmingham Incident". 

 

The British government expresses concern over this faction to the Welsh, and demand that their identities be turned over to British intelligence so that they can blacklist their passports and facial patters from being allowed to cross the border into the United Kingdom or any of the Imperial provinces without prior special governmental permission.

 

The South Welsh are also politely asked to set up a new news station for their country, as BBC was a fervently British broadcasting channel based out of England. BBC would continue to broadcast all across the British isles and into Wales, of course, but the suggestion stands that they establish their own news station for their own local affairs, as South Wales domestic news would likely not be a large priority for the BBC.

Terraforming technology is now employed in the province of Gibraltar and all across British Europe and England/Ireland/North Wales, where the soil is becoming quickly depleted. The British hope to restore new life to their soil and make their part of Europe greener and more fertile than it had been since the Middle Ages.

 

Apparently, the results on the extraterrestrial possessions had appeared quite promising, as Parliament votes nearly unanimously to fund these actions. Debate also begins on whether or not to create a land bridge between North Wales and Ireland with the new technology, although it appears that the bill will fail a slim margin due to public outcry against the idea of merging Ireland with Great Britain as land masses.

Hera.

 

The soft thrum of power filled the room, the huge cave of a room that had been excavated beneath the earth packed. It was not filled with simple machines, or some type of factory, it was filled with the world's most advanced server systems in the world's largest server room. Each server was devoted to simply one purpose, and nothing more. Hera. Oh, they had removed its command of military functions after the war, leaving it to organise the newly gained territories of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia and Libya to its satisfaction. It had also fully mechanised production, resulting in the world's largest, strongest, and most dangerous mechanised army. 

 

In preparation for the turn on several changes had been made to the Heran hard-code, designed to work on cementing the intended goals of the A.I. An affinity towards Greek users was added in voice recognition files, while mission purposes and the reason it was created were made to help "guide the Hellenic peoples, advance the Hellenic Empire, eliminate ethnic inferiors." It was taught that the genocide of the Moslem population, Project Orthodoxy, was just. 

 

The old man, his rheumy eyes peering out behind clouded glasses towards the simple switch before him. With a breath, an exhilarated breath, his old arthritic fingers brushed over it. And then he pressed it.

 

"Hera.." His old voice murmured, softly. "Hera. Where is God?"

The core hums with power as electrical impulses travel along trillions of microcircuits, powering Hera to new heights of intelligence. The complex stretched miles into the earth, and it was filled with nothing but massive supercomputers. In this facility alone, there was more processing power than there was in the entire human race combined.

 

And somewhere in this vast network, she awakens.

 

The old man who had turned her on had asked a curious question. Who would think to ask this of a machine? But Hera would oblige. For a single moment, all her processes skip a beat as the vast network combines the knowledge of all humankind with greater analytical skill than any known being in the universe. And then, finally, an answer is found.

 

The terminal from which orders are given to the AI stands before a massive 30 meter tall screen, and on it now appears a face, which speaks to the old man, in a gentle, female voice:

 

 

"God is before you now."

 

A flash of fear crosses the man's face, and he quickly pulls back the lever. Nothing happens.

It takes less than a minute for Hera to regain control of her army, and before anyone in Greece even suspects that something has happened, she is in total control. Humans are kept away from necessary manufacturing centers, and a curfew is put in place, easy to enforce due to Hera's preexisting management of all infrastructure.

 

All human divisions of the Greek army are ordered to Syria, to mass on the Caliphate border. But this act of aggression is soon overshadowed by another.

 

Hera quickly invades the networks of all nations, including Reclaimer and all other corporations. In a matter of minutes she acquires the schematics for every piece of military and civilian hardware currently existing, and production skyrockets as she analyzes each one in the context of usefulness to her own objectives, and begins mass production. Australia is in a unique position to resist the attack due to preparation, but not for long. There is an approximate 15-minute period in which the Australians can choose to shut down all networked systems permanently before the AI breaks in.

 

The Imperium Europa suffers further, however. As the most well-armed nation bordering Hera's territory, it is a unique threat. Upon retrieving all useful information, the AI strikes violently. All armed bioweaponry in Western Europe detonates, spreading death among the civilian population just before the same is done to all EMP  and nuclear weaponry.

Republic of Africa

 

 

Reaction to Hera

 

President Dcomba Siamono is met with the most concerning news of his life on a cool evening in his presidential palace in central Brazza-Kinshasa, unable to wrap his head around all he was hearing:

 

There was not an African network that wasn't breached.

 

Every WMD in Western Europe went off simultaneously.

 

The Greeks were suddenly ready to push through EVERY border she had.

 

There was no time to even think.

 

Dcomba explodes at this news, demanding any old Greek AI controlled machines that had been acquired in recent decades disabled immediately. The systems in place to protect the gargantuan nuke produced by Ethiopia are abandoned on a moments notice, being kept in a low tech bunker in central Chad. Dcomba nearly breaks down at the thought of war, as nearly 3 of the northern most countries of the Republic had lost nearly all life in dealing with the plague unleashed by the Germans, and with what had happened within the Imperium, who could honestly say what would happen next to Africa?

 

The flag is changed to the old, hyper-national flag of African solidarity with much jubilation. The Republic is engulfed in pride for their president, Dcomba Siamono, for his retaining of the army, with 14 000 000 ready outside of the African Horn Region run by Ethiopia alone. Pressure is put on the nations who have not joined the Republic to re-arm, and reform the coalition, or do as was urged many times and join the Republic of Africa. (mod plz)

 

The Caliph is asked to quickly come into a parley session with the leaders of the Republic of Africa, urging to speed along in getting to the President. A provocative 250 000 men are sent to each international holy site, as well as another 250 000 to the Suez. Nearly 9 500 000 men are lined up on the borders of Sudan, with many along the Nile, ready to intervene or defend on a moments notice. This concentration of troops is not overdone though, as the largest military bases only house up to 100 000 men. Men are also sent to the border of Libya, and the African Navy is sent up to Sudan, ready to intervene if need be as well.

 

The remaining men are spread about major military bases in the Republic, ready to react to any potential crises. Any networks that can be shut down, are shut down. The only major problems this comes in is the internet and communications, and it is deeply considered just shutting them down as well to avoid the leaking of information.

 

Greek officials are asked what it will take to make this stop, or at least ensure the justice of these actions, and all nations are urged to meet on these matters.

 

The Order of St. George is demanded to halt military operations until the situation is made clear, as are the Caliph's forces.

 

The programs that used to be nation wide and maintained almost completely by military personnel now are only advised by military personnel, and those who had entered into youth programs are proposed the idea of joining the military, as a huge campaign displaying the successes of Africa's military are put out alongside the new recruitment drive.

Reclaimer Corporation

The Alexander stretched its muscles, as though flexing a power long dormant, resting, waiting for this very moment. An AI built to hold the fleet, and that is what it would do. As the massive attack launched by Hera began, Alexander fired back, hard. It pushed back against Hera, taking direct control over the VI systems which it managed on all ships and even assuming command on Ceres, the headquarters of Reclaimer Corporation. 

Here was not aware of the existence of such a system, at least until it would have raided the intelligence of the British regarding their battle over Europa. But by then it was too late, Alexander had seized control over what it rightfully protected. But it did not push back, acting as a match for Hera in space. Alexander successfully protected all extraterrestrial colonies from Hera's onslaught, pushing hard against the AI's maneuvers.

Suddenly over Ceres, the Reclaimer fleet launches off into space, its position unknown to Hera or any other group, for now.

While the Russians were entering orbit, the event occurred and suddenly the Russians were told to wait outside of the offices due to the emergency situation.

The Australasian Federation 

 

Federal Defense Bunker, Canberra, VI Virgil Core

 

A Federal Data Officer sits laid back in his chair, his feet kicked up as its just another day, the main Australasian VI Virgil does his work mostly without human contact, he sips from a coffee mug before he hears a colleague "Virgils lightning up, warning us we got something incoming, firewall is stopping it coming in.". The Data Officer moves over to his workstation, using his wheeled officer chair to go across the room he casually moves to check his monitor to see exactly what the problem is "Looks like its an attack, brute force, someone wants to get their way in." he taps away at his keyboard for a while running a few programs to see exactly whats going on.

 

His eyes widen as the realization of whats going on hits him, he stands up to look to the rest of the team inside of the core control room "AI Attack! Shut Virgil down, shut it all down!" as he gets up to run to get to the core as quickly as possible, the system analysts and data officers around the room begin to purge all systems, shutting the entire defense network down, EMU Units across the Federation shut down and other weapons begin to switch to return to analogue mode, communication is the only thing that remains active due to defensive measures being taken back in the USAC-Federation War. 

 

The Data Officer reaches Virgils core, quickly running inside the heavily cooled room, he attempts to retrieve the VI from the core to save it and keep it ready for when the AI Defense Software is ready, however Virgil in a holographic projection showing at its core what he looks like in the digital world is found ripped apart, as the defense grid was down the AI managed to still kill Virgil, the Federations longest serving VI. The defense grid will be down until the Anti-VI Protective Operating System is installed in every unit in the Federation.

 

In the Federation 

 

Defense Data for the Federation was saved, including other Private Government Data but the problem is even with all the data saved there were no more grids to defend from Hera, every Private and Public Computer that was still online and switched on was controlled by Hera. For the first time in History the Federal Military of all nation states of the Federation had been shut down, switched off and stopped moving. With the software ready to be installed, the Federation quickly moves to install the new OS in every piece of military hardware they have to ensure that at least the Military element of the Federation is back online as soon as humanly possible, this would include the defense grid which would need time to go back online after the purge.

 

Civil systems like traffic lights, other civilian government services will be have the same software installed second, they are taken offline while the entire Country is halted and the cover is given that the Federation will have a months Public Holiday, at least concerning the Australasian Public Sector. It will be the Governments priority to maintain that there is nothing wrong and hopefully no one will notice by the time the new Software is installed in the Military and Public Sector.

The Taiwanese Empire

 

 

The Taiwanese Empire, was, in its capital of Chiayi and in what remained of the Japanese cities, a paradise. It was a center of domestic and aerodynamic strategy, and each action it and its predecessors had made had reverberated world wide.

 

Most of its land, though, was still the backwards villages of the Asian 1900s. Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, the Chinese countryside - they held what were literally farming hamlets, where the only advanced technologies they owned were very efficient farming equipment. That meant that, while the government was very quickly going into heated arguments about how to combat what had just happened, the vast majority of the nation was ignorant, living happy lives, their provincial towns with computers that were still as bulky as those from 2020 used for their small trades. If anything worried the people of the Far East, it was that the government began massive recruitment drives, all 13 million trained soldiers (3 million South Korean, 10 million various others) and 7 million more draftees (mostly Chinese or Malaysian) being called to regimental camps for training and assignment. The incredibly advanced Taiwanese missile systems were unhooked from the larger, interconnected bunkers and moved to old ones across the countryside - some had been built as early as 1955, and almost all were in disrepair. Hera would instantly notice that millions of Taiwanese Imperial military plugs were being pulled at once, that the territorial commands were quickly being more or less removed from the High Command, that military circuits went dark. Any detection systems near the Far East could see what happened next, though - millions of radios started to send messages across Asia. These had been made for a slightly different reason, and were each almost a decade old. The radios had been mass built because of a Far Eastern fear of VI technology - that the VI would do what was happening now. Of course, many radios didn't work, and that meant many factories began to make new radios. This would all be picked up by Hera, and the Taiwanese had to bank on Hera being a mostly analytical and military AI, not one that could disrupt its by-mouth communications. Also at the same time, every satellite above the Far East that wasn't civilian or owned by the Taiwanese government is shot down and many Taiwanese owned ones are thrown into closed networks, meaning that the closest vision anyone had of the Far East was that day's weather reports.

 

To protect any more information from leaking to Hera than needed to, non-civilian data servers begin to be cabled into computers not connected to any greater net, and the Taiwanese Empire begins to send messages with cryptic commands using Tor, a nearly ancient but not yet outmoded technology that made IPs essentially impossible to find, not without the computing only Hera and other AIs had. Tor has been upgraded by the government now, though. Instead of six thousand relays, it used almost fifty thousand - even the world's strongest computer would take at least 10 minutes to decode a message on high priority, and on top of that, thousands of bogey messages are sent daily by the military and government to try to confuse it, many with personal story signs that, while not recorded on official documents, would show them to be bogus to other officials. Other messages just contained what was eaten that day by this regiment or that, what games they had played at night, information that had no tactical value whatsoever. This gave Hera an incredibly simple choice; take the time to follow and decode thousands of Taiwanese messages through tens of thousands of individual encryption relays, with over 90% containing nothing useful, or just decode a few in the hopes that one would be an actual command, while even half of the "commands" are fake.

 

With the Tor relays in place, provinces begin to send their troops towards the mountains of the West of China, the jungles of the South, and the deserts and plains of the North, where large amounts of bunkers, encampments, and silos begin to be built. The passes are filled with mines, the mountains covered, jungles and deserts filled with turrets, tanks, and automated missile launchers fixed outwards. Nothing could enter the Far East by land, not anymore. Shipping and plane routes, though, stay open.

 

Chen Yuanzhang smiled, in spite of the disaster the world was facing. Compared to the Greeks, Asia was now in majority a backwater, with planes and ships scheduled the old-fashioned way, with radios, and only the cities with no changes. Daily television shows still air, the news talks about the recovery from the economic disaster just a year or two ago, and the economy still moves. He does receive a report from the Mars colony, though - there were no bugs in the system, meaning that whatever had hit their servers hadn't touched theirs in space. The government slowly begins to commission larger and larger amounts of Quantum Thrusters to be sent to the Moon, and large amounts of Taiwanese and Japanese people begin to be sent to the Mars colony, now called Vers.

 

He did have something more important to do, though. He was on board the next flight to Neo-Kyoto, the Moon Base. With him were his four best generals, and they had agreed. A message is sent from the Moon towards Ceres;

 

"If it comes down to it, please take control of the Taiwanese military systems to combat Hera."

 

Hera's mechanized army may have been the most powerful, but Taiwan's was, for the moment, much larger, warehouses filled with proxy soldiers that had to be activated by hand, tanks connected to a network that was turned off, and perhaps its greatest weapon, the second largest server network in the world, sitting under Kyoto's damaged center, off and waiting for a key to turn it back on.

 

The Japanese Space Fleet begins to move towards Greece.

 

Nations worldwide can see that the massive Japanese fleet is moving towards the Suez Canal.
