-The Caliphate-

 

Alexandria had been levelled. Cairo had been levelled. As advancing forces of the Order of St. George had landed in the ruins of Alexandria they had met no life - merely a broken city shattered by an orbital bombardment. The occasional refugee desperate for aid would occasionally plea to the invading soldiers but almost all lay dead. Thankfully, the Caliph had been spared this horrendous fate due to his stay in Medina, and from there he plotted revenge.

 

The invading forces easily invade Alexandria and capture it, it proving a major publicity boost. This increase in recruits however, does not last long. The moment the High Patriarch of the Christian Faith denounces the Order's invasion following the peaceful conclusion to the war, recruitment and support in multiple areas that are not highly Catholic flat-lines. While numbers increase, they do not do so by much. After a week of silence in the city, Caliphate forces strike back: mobilised from reserves and forces pulling back from Syria and Libya. Over a million soldiers surround the city and begin to slowly advance on weaker areas in a suppression of fire, breaching the defensive line but only very slowly.

 

After a week of this stalemate the Caliphate deploys their famed air force, second to none. Waves of Suleiman bombers and Turkish fighters accost the coastline of the city and fortified locations, turning what was once a quite ruin into a rolling sea of noise and explosive destruction. The intense campaign leaves psychological scares on the forces, with total destruction of military and civilian assets the objective of the bombers.

 

The large Caliphate fleet mobilised in the Mediterranean along the Sinai coast, readying for their next move.

Mars
As expeditions begin once more into the unexplored Martian dirt, the search for "New York City" continues. The sign that the Japanese found had no arrows and as such, they simply had to follow the highway. After several months of searching, including aerial scans from drones and land-based search teams, a small cluster of buildings is found about 100 miles north-northwest of the finding. The site would need to be explored further.

The Africans who sought after the NCR records would find heavily encrypted documents speaking mostly in vagaries. The documents speak of a library and natives to the Martians, but use terms about places on Earth like 'Frankfurt' and other German locations, as well as references to the Nazi and Imperial Japanese. Most of it seems like complete nonsense.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA

The Imperium Britannia has begun to regain it's confidence on the world stage as it rebuilds it's land forces and it's extraterrestrial might. The elections had unfolded as predicted, and the Traditionalists were once again in full control, though this time they faced significant opposition from the socialists, and would have to watch themselves in the future...

Terraforming technology, received from Britannia's allies, is put to good use in the reconstruction of the Mars Colony, and is employed on the Moon under the large bio-domes constructed there. Plans are made to do the same on Europa. ((Mod Please for Times))

A major breakthrough in physics has been mastered, and Britannia continues with applying its slipstream drive for practical use! ((7 pages))

The statues of Britannia shine brightly across the British Empire! Secret plans are made to install energy shield generators, received from allies of Britannia, in these statues so as to function as a secret defensive network in the case of invasion. ((Mod Please))

Caliphate reparations are put to good use to do 3 things:

1.) Provide support for the families of the deceased soldiers of Imperium families.

2.) To rebuild the military, although much of the tax money from the Suez Canal has been put towards this purpose.

3.) Jumpstarting the world economy now that the Suez Canal has been reopened.

The Royal Navy keeps watch in the Mediterranean, as the remnants of the Caliphate fleet amass. The British government states that it will not intervene in the Caliphate's affairs, but they are nevertheless on high alert as the fleet prepares for the worst.

The crew of the ​Falklands, an Anglo-Argentine Interstellar vessel, finally arrives at Alpha Centauri. The cold fusion engines of the spacecraft finally power off, and the crew come out of cryostasis.

The ship lands on the planet Phaethon, always having been designed for a one-way trip. As the first team of 10, made up of 6 British astronauts and 4 Argentines, steps onto the planet, the Commander of the expedition wastes no time in having the Imperial Union Jack, the Commonwealth Influence Jack, and the Argentine Sun Banner planted in the ground, in that order.

The British, and the Argentines alongside them, had been the first to land on an alien world outside of the Sol System.

Exploration begins immediately as satellites deployed in orbit begin to map the planet and make scans of it and it's atmosphere. Teams from the roughly 1000 man expedition begin to set up their respective bases for their two parties, 600 from Britain and 400 from Argentina.

It is hoped that the atmosphere and the planet itself might be suitable for human life, but if it isn't, the British and Argentines have brought everything that they could possibly need for the expedition, including British self-sustaining greenhouses, decades of freeze dried rations, and countless rovers, interplanetary shuttles, MECHs, defensive systems, and aerial planes, as well as drones fit for land, sea, air, and space.

The British are always on the lookout for other lifeforms, particularly for signs of intelligent life, or even for evidence of the fabled Atlantians who had captured the imaginations of the peoples of the Imperium.

Exploration on Mars continues as the British attempt to uncover the mysteries of the planet, now that the war is over. They begin to examine yet more ruins, as the Mars colony is in the process of being constructed, in an attempt to find something, anything, worth of note.

Wales' request is being considered. The British will accept it under the conditions that they join the Commonwealth of Nations as a realm, and that they allow for the rest of Britain to establish a demilitarized zone and a tight military presence along the border of South Wales and Britain.

Their navy would also be have to be limited to no more than 10 warships and no more than 20 coastal patrol craft, and their armed forces to no more than 60 or 75 thousand men, so as to ensure that the South Welsh do not attack their new British allies.

South Wales will also have to dissolve it's alliance with Scotland.

Meanwhile, the forces amassing near Scotland move to seize the Scottish Home Guard units who have turned against the British government. No response had been received from Scotland as of yet, and the silence was taken as a precursor to armed rebellion and war.

Almost 750,000 men, along with air support, Dalton Dropships, EMUs, Lancelots, H.ARM units, and clones, march into Scotland, intent of rooting out and crushing the Scottish Purity Party once and for all.

As they march en route, the Scottish rebels are given one last chance to consider the generous British offer set before them.

The rest of the army amassed in Britannia remains at the ready at the Welsh border, alongside Australian units, in case they decide to make a move.

To note, very little supplies if any from North Korea are reaching the rebels. The British blockade has all but shut out foreign aid from the British Isles. Not to mention that the coastline of the Island country has been in the process of being heavily fortified for almost 40 years now, and is extremely difficult to land illegally in without British permission.

Ethiopia (Horn of Africa)

Homefront

Dawit had just returned from the peace conferences in Medina, his flights getting delayed constantly. However, he was just glad to get the war over with. It had taken years, thousands of lives lost, and even more millions of Ethiopian birrs spent on the war effort.

 

Upon return he is notified that the army had finished developing Africa’s nuclear weapons a few weeks ago. He is also notified that the Republic, along with Ethiopian scientists have started a joint project with Japan, in producing Gradient G-Force Pressure Suits. However, Dawit already had other plans in mind.

 

Orders are given, and Ethiopia’s air force is instructed to create Gabriel fighters.

 

Gabriels are military aircraft capable of fighting in both air and space. Built using titanium mined through all of Africa, Gabriel fighters will incorporate anti-gravity technology, as well as boosters, capable of keeping the ships upright in higher altitudes. (13 pages)

 

Construction continues on the Cathedral (2 pages), and workers continue to mine and farm on the country side.

REMNANTS

 

As the remnant legion gains nearer a hundred 'Soldiers' it is harder for them to conceal their movements by the national leaders,  split into two divisions for ease of movement.  Splitting in turkey, the near-eastern European country, led now by IS ( I believe? ).

 

Division one now known as 'The Lions Pride', a title made purely to resemble not only the pride a male Lion would have in themselves, yet also the sense of family a pride of lions have. With the original 22, ( now nineteen. ) and some of the citizens from Alexander continue to travel by land based vehicles, aiming to avoid all major military checkpoints, yet still attacking 'Border patrol' which would at the time remain somewhat lax, and only there to halt illegal immigration for both weapons and ammunition, being quick in their attacks, almost lightning.

Division one event!

 

Nearing the Ukrainian border it would seem the Ukrainian government would be expecting them, Driving past at 40MPH's, the checkpoint would seem abandoned, yet for caution the two Humvee's standing point of the convoy would spray at the checkpoint building, almost decimating the small abandoned building.

 

 

With Marcus giving the command from his Humvee for the other to enter the building, and scavenge what they can, an immediate scuttle of the Humvee now painted Black and Crimson red, with a Golden skull and cross bones upon its bonnet would commence, the team of five would rush towards the building, 

 

''Sixty seconds.'' Marcus states over the radio, followed by ''Fifty..'' Almost immidiately the squad-leader is seen running from the building ''it's a Trap!'' a large explosion now from the building would bellow some few yards up into the air decimating the team inside. 

 

Almost immediately the roaring of artillery fire is heard as a much larger tank, ( unknown specifications of this tank. ) would fire from nearby its hiding spot blowing up the scuttled Humvee, cutting off the vehicles now stuck behind the wall and destroyed vehicle, a large charge of Ukrainian soldiers enter the Frey as the Humvee in front would furthermore Drive off, firing wildly with its 50.Cal, roaring of gun-fire echoing throughout the 'valley' as the only vehicle to escape the area would be Marcus's own. 

 

With only five men left in the division, they draw closer to Pshenychne, Ukraine, far from their destination of Wales, yet managing to rondevou with the second Division. With the Ukranian military hot on their heels they would contact the second Division, whilst buying plane tickets to throughout the globe, all eventually making their way to Ukrain, Bribing only customs, to allow the majority of their rifles and small arms ( now only four M4's and a vast amount of AK type. ) to Wales, now spending all but a few hundred thousand of their stolen funds.

 

All but three of the remaining 55 remnants manage to make it to Wales safely.

Order of Saint George

 

The Grandmaster smirked as the Caliphate forces had taken a while to regroup and actual siege the city of Alexandria. Now getting more accustomed to the city they can put up a moderately good defence. Of course the order was used to guerrilla warfare, thus they would give certain terrain to set up traps, or generally just ambush the enemy as he entered the city. Of course since the caliphate had taken long to settle a defensive force the Martyr had now gotten enough time to reload three GODSWRATH rods. Two of which would bomb any encampments/military facility near the city.

 

Churchills are deployed to counter the Suleimans and Turkish fighters. They would focus on light attacks, generally being over the enemy formations and quickly descending taking the enemy by surprise.

 

If any navy would move towards the Order’s navy it would get rodded by the last GODSWRATH rod.

 

The Island of Socotra has been fortified. Any merchant vessel of the Caliphate would be shot down by the LIONs mounted on the Island. there would be 50.000 men stationed there.

They continue getting their revenue from their tax haven, still wanting to attract as many companies as possible and attempting to make their stock market one of the most stable. ((Mod Please)).

MOD POST

 

The Ceres expedition by the USSR rebels goes fairly well as they approach the planet in a single British Interplanetary Shuttle. As they approach, they notice that the whole of the Reclaimer fleet is docked there.

 

As they approach, the shuttle is hailed and a female voice with a thick Russian accent begins to speak.

"This is Reclaimer Company Ceres Command. Unidentified vessel, please identify yourself and state your purpose, or you shall be shot from the sky. You have one minute."

 

The hailing ends as ReclaimerCo awaits their response.

On Mars, more and more expeditions are finding the ruins that they were searching for.

 

Both the Japanese and the British find their buildings, but they are buried under a number of feet of dirt. They will have to dig up the ruins before they find what they're looking for...

BBC World News was reporting on the status of the plague in the North Baltic Confederation.

 

"Over one hundred people have died from this new disease in the Baltic Capital.

 

Medical experts fear that if something is not done soon, the plague will most certainly spread to the rest of Stockholm. Already, hospitals have appealed to the international community and to their own federal government for aid. It is feared that if something is not done soon, this small outbreak may turn into an epidemic.

 

There is no comment as of yet from the Swedish government about the epidemic, nor is there any comment from the British Space Ministry, the Japanese Space Agency, Orion Company, or any other major extraterrestrial power as to the nature of this disease."

 

The world media makes a huge deal about the new "Space Plague", and although it's still quite small, it might draw attention from the international community...

In Porto, investments and business begins to slow down drastically.

 

War is an unattractive affair, especially after the other nations of the world have made peace with the enemy. Companies seem to not wish to move into the region while the order fights a costly and ineffective war for something so out of touch with these secular investors as a non-Church sponsored crusade for the Holy Land.

 

Therefore, many companies in Porto become pissed with the continuing conflict, which is quite bad for business, and many threaten to outsource if it does not end soon.

The Foreign Legion Remnants would succeed in getting themselves and their aging hand weapons into Wales, although the strict British blockade would most likely all but doom any attempt to smuggle their heavy vehicles into the country.

"Father Robespierre" and the peaceful French protestors are well-contented with the South African offer to establish a Free Holy French State within the Republic, and would be willing to meet with the Field Marshal and with the Governor of Normandy, as well as the Empress of Britannia and possibly the German Kaiser, to negotiate such a thing for at least some of the French people.

In Argentina, the illegal lumber lords would flee into the Argentinian rainforest in an attempt to escape the military. They would be forced to continue the chase into vastly uncharted territory, as well as engage in possible anti-guerrilla warfare, against the lumber lords as they hunt them down.

 

The media also scoffs at the Queen's trigger-happy approach to the situation, and calls for a more peaceful approach to be taken to the situation.

 

However, much corruption is purged from the Argentine government, and many of the corrupt politicians and lumber lords are forced to lay low for the time being.

Britannia calls for all of the Greater Imperium of Europa to convene in the city of Lauria in the Azores to discuss what to do about the plague. 

 

They also invite all nations to join the United Terran Alliance, a replacer organization for the United Nations, so as to prevent yet another world war from ever breaking out again and so as to prevent potential global catastrophes from becoming realities. Britannia already swears to uphold and support the Alliance militarily and build an HQ for it in London if they can get at least 4 more major powers willing to support it.

 

 

The British Imperial Government and Norman provincial government will meet with the protestors and with the South Africans to discuss such a notion as a Free French African State, inviting the Germans to participate as well.

Taiwan Short Post

 

It was the breakthrough the Asian government had started looking for years ago. They had found a cluster of buildings the correct distance from "The Sign", and now that they had, two hundred of their colonist-soldiers quickly got into transport rovers, left the near-paradise terraformed areas that they called home, and rushed to the small cluster of buildings. With them was a veritable army of digging machines and rovers, with the Taiwanese Empire dropping larger drills from orbit by the second.

 

Their belief was that they had found a Second Earth of sorts, and that what they would find would change the current Earth's order, that there would be at least a clue as to what happened.

 

So the soldiers put in the commands to excavate huge tracts of land around the small group of buildings, and 50 went to the buildings themselves to explore.

 

Whisker engines continue to replace normal thrusters of both space and naval ships across the Empire.

 

Taiwanese spaceships can be seen by telescope above the Middle East.

South American Federation

 

The South american federations economy had recovered significantly for everything to be put on track back to their formal glory, and now after such a long time the Argentine Capital ship had been finished and crew put to work in the massive ship. The M1/M2 Jaguars over Mars are instantly brought over to the SAF space station for refitting and fixing before being sent out along side the massive Capital ship to play as a support role. Soon the South American Federation would be a force to be known in space as a Panther is being construct with the help of Orion's super-b knowledge in space craft but for now the fleet sits quietly near the South American space station before more supplies are continuously brought up to the station as another construction projecting is begun with only a short break to get everything in order.

 

 

Two of these large battle cruisers are to be put into construction immediately to support the larger ships, The two most notable weapon on this large cruiser would be its massive frontal fusion cannon and smaller but reasonably large ion cannons along side it for disabling and destroying larger or smaller ships at long range while multiple defensive turrets are scattered around the ship to defend it from smaller and faster ships.(Mod plz) Along with this battle cruiser, a new ship is put into construction but with much higher focus, a large colony ship capable of housing a large amount of citizens for large term space travel. This Colonial space ship would be equipped with everything basic to starting life on a planet but it also held a mini version of a Terraformer, two specifically. The ship even had small hanger bays to dispatch small ships fit for around ten people.

The South American and British Imperium mining facility had been completed a sort time ago and had to be one of the most defensible facilities in space, Multiple offensive and defensive things surround the asteroid or would be built into the thing. The facility had been named the Bastille for its defensive capabilities.

 

~Lumber industries~

 

After a long while of fighting the illegal lumber industries seemed to finally be cut down to size and after some reconsideration, offers are sent out to the remaining groups asking them to join the governments industries and help the South american federation better their lumber industries but a small army is kept at the ready to hunt down the remaining lumber bosses.

Research is put into finding a way to create a better propulsion system, improving their great fusion engine and another research project is put into making anti gravity technology. (Mod plz)

The Rebel Alliance

 

The days were long and the nights longer, The Rebel Forces begin hitting the Communist Forces head on, the battles are long and bloody. One day, on the outskirts of Stalingrad USSR Tanks and infantry engage Rebel Forces attempting to take the city. Vladan himself leads the assault in his personal modified tank. The Rebel forces begin taking heavy casualties as the USSR pushes forward.

The USSR Armor Commander smiles looking to Vladan "Victory is ours Chairman."

Vladan scowls "Infantry reserve into the Center.."

The Officer blinks "But, sir we have taken the field.."

Vladan turns to him with a threatening gaze "And now we shall take their spirits. Send the entire battalion over that hill and Crush THEM! This ends today.."

 

Rebel forces retreat en mass as Vladan's tank leads the charge gunning down all who stand in his way as he obsessivly pursues the broken forces, suddenly the tank next to him is struck by a large plasma rounds ripping it to shreds.

The comms begin to fill with panic "What the hell are those things?"

"Everyone pull back! Retr-..."

The radios go silent, Vladan opens the hatch to his tank "WHAT IS GOING ON?..."

Out of the smoke before him, 127 Mechs move out of the fog of war bearing large rifles specially made, the pilots inside blended with their mechs communicate via their cybernetics to coordinate their attack.

"This is Archangel 001...engage the USSR forces, cover those falling back. Squads 6-12 take out those tanks"

The others acknowledge her "Copy that Miss Povlavna.."

 

Vladan orders his tank to charge forward as he arms the LION I mounted gun on his tank that was retreived from the Rebels "Its that *****! TAKE HER OUT!"

He fires the LION I scoring a direct hit on Archangel 001, but to his surprise the laser rounds deflect or are absorbed by an energy field projecting around the mech. Moments later his tank is ripped to shreds by the combined fire of the Archangel battle group.

 

The battle lasts for several more hours, soon after the Rebel Forces are ordered to retreat back to base, the USSR has held them off...but at great cost.

 

The Rebel Forces in the Far East continue to elude the Japanese Forces as they seem to have halted their advance for the moment.

 

The Rebel Officer aboard the Interplanetary Shuttle opens up comms with the Reclaimer Ceres Command. He also has a thick Russian Accent "This is Officer Joseph of the Russian Rebel Alliance...we've come to find our people..we discovered documents of a Russian Exodus..and as our fellow brothers and sisters...We require your help..the Motherland is wounded..she needs your help.." The Welsh Seperatist faction finally come to an agreement with the Imperium Brittainia. The infantry units in Manchester quickly return towards the newly established Republic of Southern Wales via British military escort. Once returned safely a private conference between the military leaders would begin immediately followed by a public speech broadcasted upon the BBC as part of the general news. The talk would be given by the recently elected spokesperson of the faction, Clyde Bowen. 

 

"Here us now, those of the republic. A new era is beginning, an era of strength and pride. For those of you still fighting, hear me now. Lay down your arms, we do not harm our brethren for any longer, return to your homeland for we must rise, and through the heat of industry we shall forge yet a stronger Wales, a Wales to be feared."

 

The brief message would end, returning to the regular news. A few weeks later work would begin, those in Swansea and the larger towns of Wales would see high-street commercial buildings fall, leaving only the bare minimum for what is required as the peoples sustenance. In place of these foundations of tall, dominant and modern industrial buildings would lay, creating hundreds of new jobs for those who have lost them due to the separatism and the mines.

 

 

As the cities are darkened with the smoke of industry glowing with the ominous lighting of LED's, Police offices are torn down in place of fortified monstrosities. Belonging to a new force, the Gorfodwr-Heddwch (Peace-Enforcers) these alternatives to local police are kitted with advanced tactical gear and weaponry, similar to that of the regular S.W.A.M's, their gear being much more impressive than an average police officer.

Foreign legion Remnants

 

 

Now seeing how Wales has been ran under the new regime, Marcus conducts a plan to relieve the separatists from power.

 

Purchasing separatist military uniform from a corrupt quartermaster, a group of seven drive towards the new border, between Wales and the British Imperium, within a small cliff, covered by trees the leader of this squadron would look towards a patrolling British unit, also spotting cameras, an order is given!

 

''Move in!'' almost immediately the squad of remnants now disguised as separatists charge towards the patrol, open firing upon them, the battle is short lived yet as this lay the entire Imperium squad is killed within a hail of gunshots, a single man out of the rest of the Remnant squad ( which now all wear balaclava's ) is seen, looking to the camera before shooting it with his side-arm.

 

 

At the same time another squad have managed to sneak themselves into Birmingham international, now using the toilets to change into their welsh uniform they would walk out, firing upon civilians in open view of the camera, shots fired everywhere as the group of six would walk, shooting and killing all civilians and transport police that stand in their way.

 

The attack doesn't last long however as the group's destination would be the NEC, to where they would immediately change back, move themselves into a contractors van, and aim to escape before they are caught!

 

Hoping that this act of terroism with the welsh smoke-screen is enough to spark a full on public uprising.

 

 

Some days afterwards, the Imperium would receive an encoded message heading straight for the Prime ministers office, somewhat fuzzy, and garbled but the message gets through ''We.. are-... Remnants-... Transmissions... Welsh.. planning-... Too kill.. Prime minister!-..'' although the message is clear enough, a large portion of it would be covered by static, yet ''We-... Helping.. the imperium... from.. Secret-... Camp..''

The Australasian Federation 

 

The Federation opts to join the United Terran Accord, having originally came up with the idea for the organization in the past, it joins unconditionally. The economy has seemingly gone back on track as there have been no more major setbacks concerning the financial sector, mining or anything else. With the economy getting back on track it enables the Federation to utilize its vast resources to open up new research projects and complete its obligations that it had promised to do.

 

The War on Titan had gone quiet, the Federation had no more information concerning the planet, however it can be assumed that roughly under half of the forces stationed on there are still alive and are still fighting the Neo-Russians, the Fleet Movements of the Russians were however still completely unknown, with an unknown number stationed in orbit above Titan still. It would be some time until the Colony on Titan was relieved.

 

The Australasian Federation withdraws its units from Japan as the situation there has seemingly been resolved, the Taiwanese Empire must only ask if they need further assistance in the form of mechanized platoons and knight divisions. The Lancelot Platoons and Knight Divisions of the Federation stationed in the Imperium Britannia stay close on the Welsh Border, they often look to harass and detain Welsh Republican Officials as the Federation is generally disgusted by the idea of a Welsh Republic.

Republic of Southern Wales

(The rebirth of industry)

​After the recent atrocities performed by the Remnants, the Rebublic of Southern Wales stresses towards the Imperium Brittainia that such an act was not ordered, and that the supposed unidentified A-wall troops would be excommunicated from the S.W.A.M (South-Wales advanced marine) and if found would be executed publicly by the Gorfodwr-Heddwch. With this an advanced tactical unit of S.W.A.M's are sent to find the renegade troops and return them to the now industrial city of Swansea.

 

In response to the recent provocations from the Australasian federation, the republic decide to close the borders of South Wales so that they cannot be breached. With this the Republic request a meeting with the Australasians to discuss peace matters. 

 

With the Military reform and industry booming, the republic manage to gain a large military force that resides within the boundaries of what the Imperium Brittainia allow, previous homeguard and Welsh soldiers are recruited into the new reform, their army consisting of:

 

20,000 S.W.A.M infantry

 

10,000 S.W.A.M heavy cavalry w/ 2000 infdev H.O.A.V's (Heavy ordnance assault vehicles, seen on page 98)

 

5,000 E.I.T's (Elite insertion troopers)

 

15 C.D.C's (Coastal defence crafts)

 

6 H.O.C.V's (Heavy oceanic combat vessels)

 

In addition to the new military, Wales wishes to purchase tactical technology to produce a new set of cost efficient insertion gear for the newly implemented E.I.T's. The gear will be able to partially withstand blast from plasma and laser weaponry while still keeping its structural integrity, this set will only be produced in batch and will take a large amount of time to produce and deploy.
