Britannus simply shrugs as he hears of the call to jihad.

"Makes no difference, they've been fighting with the dwarves since the start of the war."

"Their suicides will not go unnoticed," remarked Gareth Hawthorne upon hearing about the declaration. "I've no doubt that these fools will die, and I will enjoy watching the slothful false Quali perish to their own zealotry."

Publius fumes at this, his hearing of the declaration driving him out of his secluded cabin in the mountains of Avar and back to Felsen, his face a radish like red with outrage.

He enters Felsen, his demeanor almost animal like as he strides quickly down the main street into the square. His most peculiar nature lands him much attention before he managed to step atop the foot of the fountain, his posture perfect and stature made to look grand in his outdated, yet finally tailored attire. He wastes little time before he calls out to the people.

"By GOD my people, we have a new opponent to peace!"

"That is right dear folks, more propaganda, more lies, and worse yet, a deeper commitment to bloodshed for both of these things!

Who would the new ally of mayhem happen to be, you would quickly ask? Why, no one less than the washed up Faiz Kharadeen! I am certain none among us are shocked though, knowing the dishonest way he did diplomacy with Oren!

He now calls his people against Oren, her vassals and her allies, daring to lie and SLANDER as is convenient for him and his cause! He calls Nafis Yar, a Qalasheen representing the values priorto Vanderguan's formation a coward for resisting the hypocritical actions of Harold Winter the Fourth, yet speaks also of honour. Honour! The gall of this man! He sites a defensive treaty with Urguan from his reign, when such is a moot point in their declaring war on Oren! He sites his support of the Savoyard kings and his disappointment at not gaining enough gold, when they were not strong enough to survive the aftermath of the war! He of course does not dare mention our current government - the one who begged for defensive treaties with all parties it currently fights!

He dares call Oren the aggressor, he dares  to do this knowing full well he could not declare war on Oren morally because the Dwarves had not been aggressed, but rather Oren was! He now only commits to his agenda now that the Rovin's have given over their lands to us, with his sited reason for "treachery". What of his treachery to his own people, with hisincessant lobbying for war driving Decimus out in the first place!?

How dare he insult Oren and call it oppressive, when the High Elves were given independence by simply raising the issue. How dare he insult peace, and attempt to demonize Orenian's! Worse yet, how dare he offend GOD himself by claiming his political aims are the direction of GOD himself!?!

Freedom is so often mentioned, when the sovereignty of his own people were pawned away to give a better chance to the enemies of the leadership and NOT the people they lead! He does not mention this, but rather drones on about Orenian immorality, when the punitive nature of their attacks come in retribution against a war declared by the people he claims are more honourable than thee!

Rather than pursue peace, this man seeks blood people, do not be fool, any of you! When you fight, know that it is not against the man in front of you, but the puppeteers over them, who are kept awake by the thought of not being able to establish an empire over humanity!

No more of this talk of moral high ground, it was lost with the swing of axes at the faces of abrasive diplomats, it was ended with perpetrating lies to see lives lost in a war AGAINST  the interests and desires of his people, and mocked now by this call for raising the stakes in a war he had one of the greatest opportunities to prevent! I have faith this war will end soon and on terms that are sustainable, but by GOD you must be blind to not see his attempts to make this process impossible!

I remain here, a faithful servant of peace and good will like many on both sides, but a starch opponent to those like Faiz and Harold! By GOD I hope we are blessed with the strength to end them, but the temperament to stay our hands beyond them!

Let us pray that the light is seen from behind these towering, dark figures!"

Publius would hop down, quickly sending letters across the lands, doing his best to fight against the hate that has damned many to this day, and threatens to damn many more...

Ali from the corner shop sits in his store, pondering at the future of Caliphate and of his kinsmen. He continues a loud chant which begins to echo throughout the lands.

Thorgran Ireheart would offer his aid to any Qalasheen man or woman who needs equipment in order to aid in the war effort. He also invites them all to the feast which will be held in 15 minutes at Kal'Akash!

Morvan joins in on the chanting from the crowd, his fist thrusting towards the cloudless sky on repeat. While out of place, the large northern man supported Faiz and the true Qalasheen, his friends.

As the crowd died down, Morvan would begin to lumber away, a slight limp in his step. He'd heft up his Zweihander, laying the flat of the blade against his shoulder, it's gleaming tip pointed towards the sky.

"I am glad that folk like Faiz and Arlen hold power, and not the cowards like Nafis, who takes the laws of his own GOD into his hands." He'd smile as the last words left his lips, his aged and weary face lighting up.

Enepay rode across the Qalashi desert on his trusty mare, Maysam. He pulled the reins to bring the horse to the halt, gazing up at the sky to see a wisp of smoke.

"I'm coming, Naf." He muttered, spurring his equine friend onwards to Ard Ghorrock.

((I never read anything you lot post, seeing as how most of it is propaganda or just anti-oren "my freedom" posts. Most of them say the same things, anyways.))
