The Rosemoor Convention

A Ruthern would smile brightly as they read the paper while inside of a grand and elegant Victorian styled hotel room of a hotel located on the borders of Kaedrin. While the Ruthern read the paper, a maid would walk into the room with a blue flower pin. Once the maid had handed the pin to the Ruthern, the Ruthern would adorn themselves with the pin to show support for the Rosemoor Bill.

Upon reading the missive indicating the Rosemoor Bill's proposal, Maude Fitzpeter turned unto Philippa and began to speak to her in accordance with the Bill's topics. "If a man can say that we have the right to government positions and political stances, then why does that forbid us the right to inherit?" She queried in her sister's fond presence, huffing lightly and reading over the Bill once more. She then left to go for daily prayer in the Church's pews.

Nikoleta held up the many posters she had been working on proudly! “Yeah! Woman!” She’d scream at the top of her lungs, still a bit too young to understand all the fine details.

An aging woman- off somewhere on distant beaches- got wind of the pamphlet and smiled. Finally ladies could perhaps be thrown a bone in the cob webs of their social dungeons.

The Lady Mayor Maria de Rosius donned a warm smile, hair pin, bracelet, and brooch pinned to her to show her support for the cause.

"For so long women have been undermined, I'd like to see more of what we have in de Rosius. Women heirs. Foolish men will say a woman could never run a house, but my dearest cousin Anastasia has proved them wrong time and time again. The O'Rourkes are a shining example of how women can run a house and work in positions of power and be no different from men." Maria smiled fondly, talking to her Deputy.

"They've run a few balls and now they wish to rule an Empire. The traditions of this Empire are exhausting quickly. One Empress was too much, and cost us our largest vassal. I'm not sure we can suffer their 'leadership' again.

Horen passsed his leadership unto his son's to lead man, not his daughters" He laments from his office, keeping his thoughts private.

"Well, I suppose It is up to the peers now"

Zita found herself remembering how she saw Anne I and her co-monarch, Joseph II get coronated - back when she was a wee girl of merely 11 or 12 years. After the wars her parents had told her about, the youth found herself terrified of any sort of conflict. Thus, the lady appreciated Anne I's release of Haense as their vassal all the more - for surely, had the strong woman not taken action when she did, a civil war would have emerged and put a large stain on her otherwise peaceful rule. @Minuvas

“Yeah, he’s been like that for a few months… laughing, talking to himself, going off on these strange rants. I fear they’ve only worsened,” says the morbidly obese Jared Dune, a frequent visitor of the north, to several international humanitarian aid workers as they walk around Norland.

Edric is astounded, for no such humanitarian workers have ever existed in Norland.

A pure white elf would feel a tad bit of concern, seeing this very, very large man, and would wonder where he came from. Those workers, too, when had they all got here? Why were they here, again? How did the big one get here? The walk was much too long, did they have to carry him? Was he part olog, to have gotten to such a size and speak in such a manner? He leans in a bit, “Im sorry, ser, bat I have not even ve slightest of edeas of what you mean.”

Later, the same elf would read the missive and nod in approval, pleased that Orenians were, thankfully, capable of seeing their own systems faults and working through them. Some of them, anyway. Perhaps there was something worth salvaging.

Natalie Julia read over the missive, allowing a soft sigh to escape her lips accompanied by a shake of her head. “If women are able to inherit then what will men do? They will lose their value.” She’d then move to to a large oversized chair, plopping herself down into the fluffy cushion. “What would be the point in marrying if not for a Man’s title and money?”

“It is baffling how the writer of this proposal continuously mentions Anne I, a carpet muncher who was bullied into relinquishing her most important vassal. The paramount duties of a liege is to keep their vassals in check and stomp out any insurrection — they are supposed to subjugate, not surrender.” Renée Antoinette began, “And the poster girl of this treatise did exactly what a liege should never do, she surrendered. If those who authored this hope to be taken even remotely seriously, I suggest they start hunting for a new mascot.” the Auvergnian crone finished with a brief laugh.

"Yep... she's also been relentlessly talking. This time it's been for years, though," the bloated Jared Dune comments to the humanitarian aid workers, looking sadly upon another poor individual.

Alexandria's eyes felt heavy as she gazed into the hearth of her bedchambers, she had been lost in her thoughts of mulling through memories and experiences.  The aged princess fell into this habit a lot now, especially in the evenings.  She would ponder on the foils and struggles she faced with her ambitions, of the challenges brought to her as she fought for her Kingdom and family.

She was stirred from this dazed stupor as her husband, Konstantin, hobbled into the room.  His cane clicked on the wooden floorboards as he loudly dropped a stack of papers on the letter table; it was the usual mail and notices of the month, the one upon the top bore a stamp of a blue flower.

"Interesting news, dearie," Kon's rough voice tore through the silence of the room.  Before he could continue, he hacked into his kerchief.  "There's some women in the Empire trying to make a claim for equality in succession."

". . .What?  What did you say?" Alexandria questioned back, cupping a hand around her ear as she couldn't quite hear her husband.

"I said the women in the Empire are pushing for equality!" Kon said back, speaking more loudly.

"WHA'?!"

"EQUALITY!"

"EQUALITY?" Alexandria picked at her ear.

"YEAH!"

“Does someone have a crush on me? How cute,” Renée cooed, “Come here, allow me to give you a hug, seeing as it is evident you crave my attention.”
