Recently, the Ministry of Justice received terrible allegations involving Mr. Anton d’Amato-Orlov, who until now held the position of Director of the Imperial Bureau of Investigation (IBI Director) in the Ministry of Justice, that indicate that Mr. d’Amato-Orlov hired the terrorist group known as the Ferrymen to assassinate Lord Joseph d’Azor in the Imperial City of Providence.

Lord Joseph d’Azor was standing upon the street when the Ferryman assailant fired a single crossbow bolt at the man wounding him severely before being driven off by citizens. After receiving medical treatment in the street, Joseph d’Azor was taken to the Providence Clinic where Cillian O’Rourke attended to him. Anton d’Amato then arrived displaying suspicious behaviour, when further visitors, Lady Rosaline and Lady Diana d’Azor attended to the clinic. Anton d’Amato drew a dagger and threatened to slit the throats of Joseph d’Azor and Cillian O’Rourke. Blocking the doors to prevent entrance of numerous wounded civilians, Anton d’Amato then tried to have Joseph d’Azor be taken upstairs alone with himself and his hostage, an attempt that the Imperial Constabulary prevented from happening.

Upon revelation that the Imperial Constabulary would not negotiate with him, Anton d’Amato then fled the city with Cillian O'Rourke as his hostage.

As of the publication of this Press Release, the location of Anton d’Amato is unknown and is considered a fugitive in all its effects. He is to be arrested on sight and brought to the Imperial City of Providence to stand trial for his crimes.

The Ministry of Justice and its Constabulary are currently in permanent contact with the Imperial State Army and the Imperial Secret Service in order to locate and arrest this fugitive to bring him to Orenian Justice and have him respond for his crimes.

Finally, the Ministry of Justice wishes to state that immediately after hearing of these news the Solicitor-General and the Inspector-General adopted the decision of firing Mr. d’Amato-Orlov from his position within the Ministry of Justice and the decision of instructing the Attorney-General to press criminal charges against him for the facts described in this Press Release.

[!] Attached to this Press Release, a Sketch of the Fugitive Anton d’Amato-Orlov is found:

We implore that if anyone sees Mr. Anton d’Amato-Orlov immediately informs the Ministry of Justice and its Constabulary, the Imperial State Army, or any other member of the Imperial Government in order to ensure that Justice is done.

The supposed fugitive drummed his digits against a desk in the lodgings in which he hid. Though he opened his maw agape, he found few words, and few thoughts within his rushing psyche.

"Perdonami," he decisively muttered under his breath in a foreign tongue.

One could only long that the ends justified the means, as he dithered there, sleep deprived.

"Lies, it's all lies." Decided the man of a maddened mien, to the publics view atleast.

Elijah d'Emyth looks over the press release with wide eyes, blinking several times. "This is a bit much." He put simply.

Calahan Antonius sits idly on the HIMS Ark of Peril as the press release is delivered, setting down his glass of lemonade he'd examine the words of the paper with a little giggle "Hey look!" He called loudly to a crew member of the Ark "I was there! I saw it happen!" With that, the day continued on the vessel, leaving the paper aside.

Cillian O'Rourke idly tends to his wounds in the clinic, eying the missive numbly. "No mention of a bleeding hostage on the road, or the fact that the MoJ actively made the situation worse? And who will pay for the damages to the hospital?" His words fell to no ears as he sat alone, his clinic in ruins and glass covering the floor. He thought for a moment to where he had been helpless as the MoJ advanced, disregarding Cillian's life to instead apprehend Anton to get some fleeting fame and reputation. As one of the clinic maid stepped in, bringing with her clean bedsheets, she stopped as she spotted the bleeding surgeon. He let out a sigh. "No treatment to any in uniform whist I am attending." His orders were brisk and subtle, but the maid seemed to pale slightly before nodding quick and stepping back out the door, leaving the sheets stacked on the counter.

Even on the southern shores of Almaris the Ministry of Justice press release managed to find its way into the hands of Azariah O'Rourke. Her gaze scanned over the paper, cringing with every last word. "How long until they realize they themselves are the problem." She'd comment to one of her household servants, yawning afterwards and tossing the paper into the flames "It seems some people just prefer to fiddle while Oren burns."

Having fled back to Sunholdt after the horrific events, Vespira was through her third bottle of red when the servant read the statement to her. The news of an internal assassination was shocking, yet left her quickly as her mind once more flooded to images of Joseph being shot in front of her, and the young child's throat being slit at the gates of Providence. She simply rose, stumbling to the wall as she rested a hand on the ISA Portrait before her... "Oh, Papa... I'm glad you didn't witness the events that took place.. Your heart would break.." The Spinster queried aloud.

"Ferrymen infiltrating the ranks, I am unsurprised - there's been notable public and private alarm on this matter.

One should simply ask the Moreno's who operate in our city where Anton is hiding, they are cozy with the terrorists.

I am afraid this is not the last shadow attempt by the Ferrymen to strike a blow at the Empire."

"No such press release when Arlo Cooper managed to escape imperial custody nor when Haense alerted them that he was detained for extradition, only for oren not to bother showing up, claiming he was undead." Remarked Basil.
