GoodGuyMatt 7067 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Wiping dirty imperial blood from his eyes, Rovyk von Reinmar huffs as he hears of the Field Commander's death, weeping alongside the Marshal of the BSK, Johann, many bruises and cuts about his body. He'd then teach himself how to write his first words, then listing out the adjectives that would come to mind when thinking of the man. RIP, it wrote first, the continued "The bold, outstanding, zealous, optimistic man." wrote the tribesman in a crude handwriting.
FlemishSupremacy 4943 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Ser Flemius, busy throughout the battle callibrating and commanding various trebuchet teams and other siege engineers, heard of Ailred's death only after the battle... What had previously been a moment of pure ecstacy now turned bitter, as his good friend had perished...
Wolfey34 243 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Stefan Vyronov looked at the missive before him, informing him of Ailred’s death. Subconsciously, the Vyronov’s hand would drift to his neck at the thought of his former mentor’s actions. Of old bruises now healed. After a long moment a soft smile would finally crack across the man’s face. “Looks like I outlasted vu” ”Dravi”
indiana105 2139 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Ser Viktor 'the Beast' Baruch slapped the servant boy who delivered the news of his friend's demise, his hand shaking as he dropped a bloodied wig to the floor. The knight fell to his knees, balling his fists and screaming to the sky, "WHY, GODAN!?" How could he go on, knowing full-well that he would never stare into the joyous orbs of the Prevailer again?
MissToni 3487 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Father Katerina signed the lorraine over herself as she heard the news. Deciding to hold a mass in the basilica in Haense for Ailred and the others lost to battle. A heavy weight on her heart as she knew he would not be the only one to have died.

__Stal27 262 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Alexander Novikov would have received the news of the Marshall's passing, removing his helmet at once, he would have let out a deep sigh, peering to the dead Imperials ahead of him, he would quickly turn around, gritting his jaw as he though about the Marshall that led him first. Taking a moment to sign the Lorraine before he continued their march, "Gone, but Nyet forgotten" He would have commented under his helmet as they continued their march.

Eryane 3629 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Empress Anastasia receives news of the fallen Ruthern, having heard his name throughout her childhood from the imperial lands - the house long since split. Although an enemy amidst the siege, she lit a candle nonetheless in the name of House Ruthern.
CopOwl 1668 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Dame Lynette Mendez reads the missive delivered to her by a kindly passing servant. A solemn tear drips down the Dame's cheek and she grits her teeth fiercely. "Let Godani guide another Marshal to the Seven Skies." She murmurs quietly before letting the memory fade from her mind.

Herod 802 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Kaustantin mourned and fasted in the memory of his father in law, a man who shaped his life. Be it for good or bad, the Ayrian man wouldn’t have become the man he is today without such an influential figure in his life. ”I forgive vy, Ser Ailred. Hero of Hanseti and Ruska.”
TheosVult 325 Share Posted January 18, 2022 [ ! ] Dracomir Rorikov had been cheering alongside his comrades after the Siege of Southbridge, although his leg had been badly injured during the battle, he cheered loud and proud after the great victory. "Kruzae zwy Kongzem! Kruzae zwy Kongzem!" His face of joy only soured upon seeing a growing group of men gathering those who had fallen, many centered around one body in particular. Supported by fellow soldiers, Dracomir approached the figure - his face grimacing at the sight of his first Lord Marshall, Ailred var Ruthern. The death of the man who had trained him and led him into many missions laid heavy on his heart... returning to Karosgrad's tavern to drink the void away.
