"THE ORENIAN ARE AZDRAZI THE ORENIAN ARE AZDRAZI." cried one man in the streets of Haense, now stricken by the dread-implications of the acts committed by the atheist city-state of Oren.

"Oh no they attacked people who invaded their land at the behest of dwarves what monsters" Manfred responds his heart bleeding for the Sedanian jannisaries of Urguan. "Truly they are as innocent as doves. Human who suckles dwarf toes, burns the lands of humanity, and bandits the roads like dogs, NO! surely these actions do not warrant a response, the Empire should simply roll over and submit to the demands of the Haenser Pontiff accepting Charlotte or whoever he was attempting to appoint to the Imperial throne." Manfred would cry out reacing for the sky in emotional turmoil at the plight of these poor poor innocent Sedanians who have never done anything wrong ever "OH THE HUMANITY"

Treble de Murat signs the Lorraine, his heart in a moral conundrum. “May God have mercy on us all.” He would retreat to the Orenian Cathedral, locking himself away in a forgotten room.

Tylos II sighed as an acolyte came to read the report out to him before he went to pen a writ of his own.

The Landgrave of Alstreim scanned through the report, pretzel in hand, during his breakfast session in the Mareno tavern in San Luciano. "Churches burn, and noblemen are hanged like dogs - for a war against non-human pagans, the victims afforded no honor or dignity seem to be overwhelmingly human Canonists," he commented to the barkeep serving him a mug of lager. "Bet you a hundred minas some Novellen bootlicker's screeching right now about how it was justified, ja? After all, buildings are known as fierce fighters and my Waldenian electors were surely pretend-nobles compared to the illustrious ancient lines of Providence."

Goran Goldhand smirks quite dwarvenly. The human clergy, high on the ecstasy of their covenant with Dungrimm, Anbella and Yemekar, now aligned themselves fully with Urguan’s chosen people. Soon, the Temple of the Brathmordakin would be in full communion with the Church of the Canon.

All was going to plan.

Henry Penton sat at his desk and wondered why the auditor was so fascinated with this matter and not the reinvestigation of the natural death of Philip Aurelian. He commented to an aide as they passed, “next they’ll have leal canonist Azdrazi testifying against faithful Orenians! What lows a church has sunken to fulfill the wishes of the half-men and lizards. The Canonist Church is now nothing but the Church of Yaomir and Yemekar.

“What proof do they have? They are quick to blame Oren but Its our lands we are retaking, I did not see the church raise a hand when faithful canonists were driven from their homes by dwarven invaders.” General Erik Ruthern shakes his head.

Peter Augustus looked over the text as he drank his cup of coffee. “Why does it feel as if the Church becomes more political as each day passes. It would seem they believe God’s work is to release false news that holds no bearing. May God bring them back to more true natured ways.”

"He's doing it again." groaned the full-time carer of Henry Penton to his colleague at the Orenian nursing home for the old and infirm, "He's talking about priests being lizards. Someone give him a sweetie! Pronto!"

“They burn a church down, then are dismayed when called out for it,” Moliana remarked, growing ever more baffled at the news her sister brought to her of the war’s proceedings. “These folk, Josephine. . It makes no sense to me.  Their principals are all loose and they’re becoming tangled in the strings.  Why can’t they just be honest with themselves in denying God, rather than clumsily trying to prove otherwise?”  A breath left her, realizing she was on the verge of rambling to her sister so she turned away and offered one final comment.

”A part of me still grieves to be absent from them, from our home.  It was the duty of us a Peers to guide the people. . . Now they are lost.”
