Significant Roleplay Changes

Recommended Posts

We had it for a year in Asulon and we had much more RP then that wasn't focused around combat, since combat was quick, ruthless and bloody, as well as not tearing the server apart with OOC complaining!

Welcome to Lord of the Craft! PvP faction server!

Better?

Really? PVP straight away? Yes, let's determine the outcome of an RP fight based on spam-clicking skill and how good your connection is. This is really one of the worst decisions I've seen...

Except now it's not just click click click. RP before fights, RP after fights, but the actual fight is done in a manner that nobody can complain about. I play on a craptop with 3fps and terrible internet on a rocky island thousands of miles from America and you won't see me complaining about it!

thanks for deleting my ******* post biasmin.

Anyway this is going to alienate a huge majority of the playerbase I hope to reck many of scrub

also RP after PvP should be needed. I'm tired of seeing (even from friends) people saying ((damage 20)) after killing someone. Just rp looting the body.

Honestly, I joined the server for ROLEPLAY, That includes the combat, if I want pvp I'll go on some other server and pvp there, I'm sorry but pvp doesn't make much sense as a default since it relies purely on OOC skill and currently, what your set race is. Not every character is equal in RP but with this, your saying that someone that has no fighting skill at all could kill a Professional soldier just because their a better pvper.

Glad this is back

Same here, When ACTUAL fights broke out in my bar in 2011 It was so fun to dive behind the bar and watch my bouncers fight the robbers.  Even if my bouncers died and I did it was still fun.

+100

Now, can we get a combat casting magic plugin re-enabled?

Dont carry things you dont want to lose.

If you must travel, hire an escort.

Honestly if something like this is coming I suggest a rolling technique. I'd much rather use a D&D method then straight up PvP. I don't care how fast one can click. This is roleplay, not a PvP server.

This is literally the worst decision the staff has ever made. I have a shitty computer which lags like no other. An RP fight is a loss, regardless of what happens. This simply makes no sense and benefits nobody. Ban powergamers, don't try to avoid them by making PVP default.

*Facepalm "So anyone who doesn't have a computer run Minecraft at 40FPS or higher now can't play a character who is any good in combat?"

If you think Lord of the Craft has become a PvP faction server, you obviously haven't realized that you can do things beside combat.

We're going back to the "Aegis Glory Days", but with much more experience and knowledge of what is good and bad.

Aegis system... All I must say

Aegis didn't have a game of thrones mentality, it is as simple as that.

P.S To all that say those with bad computers lose? I counter you with this, my PC is probably the worse PC anyone could use. It at best gets 100 FPS, yet that is a rare occasion. I can still PvP and I still win most of my fights. Why? Not because I have a good PC, because I use tactics and technique.
