  1. idk what happened but isn’t it redundant to screenshare someone the next day
  2. Give us a bit more detail about what you want to actually happen in the Event i.e. what you want the ET to do
  3. If you’re going to deregulate CBs then you need to first heavily rework the rewards/consequences of winning/losing a war i.e. your entire nation can’t be put at risk from a single war. Until you do that, these proposed changes are terrible.
  4. I appreciate the sentiment but this 100% does screw over those groups. Many vassal nations - Adria, Haense, etc. - are very active but now you're forcing them to start the next map with significant disadvantages that run the risk of inflicting serious, irreparable damage on their respective communities Haense and Adria are active alongside their overlord in Renatus -- the system WORKS here. Why are you changing it?
  5. I mentioned this to you before obviously Seventh but I'm going to reiterate my stance regarding requirements to receive nation status, notably the fully independent clause. This places a massive OOC factor on RP politics. It's an especially terrible thing to do AFTER a lot of vassalisation occurred this map without even opening it to discussion with the relevant parties. I understand wanting to cull nations but I really think you're going about it the wrong way. Activity checks should be the solution here, not culling perfectly healthy playerbases. This will do a tonne of damage and no good. I agree with Narthok in that certain playerbases are being fucked over big time
  6. Yikes so I was out for most of today and unfortunately didn't get to this 'till now. That's my fault but in future try to give us a heads up of a day or two if it's something you're planning in advance; that way we can definitely sort some stuff out
  7. Vaeyl Scouts exchanged confused glances at the developments, unable to grasp the politics of invaders. Still, they seem to take it for good news, before riding back to Lasthope on their Cold Bear mounts.
  8. The Vaeyl Order watches the trespassers assemble their armies patiently.
  9. Edward congratulated his father on the legislation that evening as he drew him a sponge bath.
  10. ye I got you, I'll set up a chat on Discord with any other Actors interested
  11. EVENT TEAM UPDATE IN-GAME ETREQS & EVENT REQUEST FORUM An ET Actor at work. Hello everyone, this is just a quick update pertaining to the in-game ETreqs and the revamped Event Request Forum. While ETreqs were a pretty good introduction, it's about time I defined their role a little more while shifting some much-needed development to the Event Request Forum. So I'll break each of them for you below. IN-GAME ETREQS When I say ETreqs, I'm referring to the ET-equivalent of modreqs, which you can do via /etreq [query]. Here is the purpose of an ETreq and how they should be used: Event-site Interaction: ETreqs should be ideally used for scheduling interactions with eventsites. For example, if you're wandering and come across a funky looking eventsite with a sign saying 'Contact X for event'. If they're offline and didn't put their Discord tag on the sign, you should do /etreq Hi I found Y's X eventsite and would like to interact with it. That ticket will stay open 'till the relevant ET gets on and talks to you about it. Asking Questions: You can also bust out an ETreq for asking event-related questions, such as 'Is this an eventsite?' 'How do I interact with X?' and so on and so forth. Quick-time Events: You CAN use ETreqs to try get a small event in-game, but this is not the recommended way of scheduling an event - see the section below on the Event Request Forum. But you can give it a try and see if there's any ET available to do it, but please don't expect fast responses here, and if you really do want an event, you should use the Event Request Forum (see below). EVENT REQUEST FORUM So my next project for the Team is getting the Event Request (previously Event Proposal) Forum up and running again. If you're looking to schedule an event for your group or some friends, this is the absolute best place to do it rather than ETreqs. Here is the forum: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/forum/104-event-proposals/ And this post will tell you everything you need to know about submitting these requests: And that about wraps up this little update. If you've got any questions about ETreqs, the Request Forum or any event questions in general, you can post below or message me on Discord - my tag is Conor#8203. Have a good day and imagine some witty sign-off here but I'm too tired to think of one so if you just +1 this post you can go now.
  12. REQUEST AN EVENT Hey, you. Yes, you! Do you want to request and schedule your very own event to be carried out by the Event Team? You're goddamn right you do, and you're in the right place to do it. This is the forum where you can get a specific event set up with the Event Team, be that a event as part of some trial or an adventure to some secluded corner of the map. All you have to do is post the below form, and one of us will get in touch within a couple of days. [Copy and paste the following form and post it in this forum] EVENT REQUEST FORMAT Players/Group Requesting: What kind of Event are you looking for?: Approximately, what time/date you want the Event to take place?: Organizer's Discord: GUIDELINES Here are just a couple of things you should bear in mind when you're requesting an Event: We don't do scripts: When we take up your request, the Event Team will never follow a direct script submitted by you. You can request a hunt for direwolves, but you can't ask for a hunt for direwolves where you fight papa direwolf and find all the direwolf puppers who's parents you murdered and for some reason they'll happily become your pet and yeah you get the idea. Submit your basic idea/concept, and we'll take the rest from there. Keep it within lore: yuh duh Regarding eventlines: If you're looking to do something involving an eventline, for example you want to interact with the Vaeyl, it's best to go to the organizing ET first rather than submit a request. Only submit a request here if that ET tells you to or you can't get them to respond. Asking for Loot: Stop that. Give us notice: Try to give us as much notice for your event as possible. It's way easier to get an ET to sort out an event with a few days to prepare rather than a few hours. Requests with ulterior motives: Don't request an event with an ulterior motive of benefiting your or a group - for example, don't ask for an event involving a Thanhium mine where your group gets to keep the Thanhium mine afterwards and establish a monopoly on it (yes, this was requested once). And that's all! If you've got any questions, feel free to hit me or any ET Manager up.
