Origin: Cyrene started out in Linandria on Axios, where she joined the Dominion’s military, the Sirame, a day later. Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and Humans aren't original either. Neither are dragons, or cervituars, or druids, or 50% of the stuff on Lotc. On another note, this makes me want to apply to play a Satyr again. I heard they were shelved though ?

Ascended aren't immortal. They can be killed by any major wound just like any other descendant. In this case, I believe their 'immortality' is just not dying at a certain age. In fact, I saw an ascended die to an axe to the back of the head. I'm not an ascended expert, though I'm just stating what I know. About the body burning, the loot stays behind. Once again, I saw this specific ascended get the few items he had on him taken via /search. They are immune to all potions, healing as well. Not just poison. And as for the bullying, I don't believe you were there to see exactly what happened before this staff member left, but I was. "you did a **** job," or "get your **** together" is not criticism. That is just being an *******. There was no attempt at all to give some advice or constructive criticism. It was mainly just name calling and making fun of them. I was literally in a voice chat with these people when it happened, furthermore proving my point that everybody, not just the ascended, are toxic. (Also, no harsh feelings, Chon. Just trying to give my opinion about the topic.)

I'd also like to mention that I do agree about the OOC toxicity, and not just from the ascended. You can't generalize an entire group for something a few people have done, like how you mentioned with Z3mos. There has been some toxicity towards a select few ascended. In fact, about a month ago one of my closest friends had done a few unsatisfactory things as a staff member involving a specific nation, and he was basically bullied into quitting the server by this nation. Yes he did make a few mistakes, though I personally believe that it can go to show how overly toxic people can be towards other people. Not to mention that someone I know has allegedly admitted to attempting to bully the ascended off the server or into non-existance (not saying this is true, it's only what I heard from a friend). We need to consider the other side of the story here, is what I'm saying. We shouldn't completely remove an entire magic because a few people have been toxic or used it wrong, instead should work on how to fix that problem. Maybe someone such as an LT could contact some of the remaining ascended leaders and have a chat with them, I don't know. It's all just my opinion though.
