Highly agree. To be honest the entire server starts to gain activity in general when large-scale conflict happens, like last map's Sutica-Oren conflict... literally had some old players come back just because of it. Additionally, you can see it even in human nations, specificaly Haense, where a lot of characters who participated in the War of the Two Emperors shined and are still remembered to this day. I feel like big-scale conflict also brings people and their characters together more, as it kind of does in real life too I guess, but at least here we don't have all of the bad consequences from real conflicts. Really hope we have some exciting war this map ngl. Nice post 👍 I feel like some people need to read this.

One of the sights would be a corner shop, not too big, though pleasant enough, seemingly featuring a variety of goods. You could see it right by the City Hall, standing in the corner to the left. ”Barclay Bargains” the sign outside would read... and banners of the House Barclay were visible. Inside Brandt Barclay would be seen behind the counter, ready to give his customers conversation and good prices. Customer’s Information and Commissions: Upon talking to the yellow haired man, among his many interesting lines, he'd also appear to offer you a pamphlet, full with information and a way for commissions. Additonally, you could also see a staircase going down, with a sign reading "Work in Progress [Bookstore]"... seems like an interesting project. "Wir are still waiting on some of the goods to come from Arcas, so some of the commissions and custom weapons are still unavailable, but ich will send a bird to everyone with this pamphlet with any new informaton" Brandt would inform... seemingly he'll have many new wares to give you once his old tools come back "Oh, also wir will most likely also be opening a bookstore, so keep ein eye out fur that" he went on with a slight smirk [!] You open the pamphlet as the Barclay smither gives it to you! (OOC) As we wait for Vortex to evolve and the vaults to be backed up, there's mostly going to only be normal stuff being sold, mostly Vortex-related. Once that's done though, the plan is to continue selling custom weapons and open a new bookstore. Brandt Barclay makes a 🤨 face before giving the nice game a thumbs up.

Clenched teeth, a numb face and blinking eyes were Brandt’s first reactions as he heard word of the passing. Without further words, the man waved his hand dissmissively to the courrier, asking to be left alone. As he sat in his burdening bed with the letter in hand, Brandt’s eyes remained on the words of his dear apprentice Sacul’s passing. His breath quickened, and his eyes reddened. The man’s hand clenches and formed into a contracted fist, grabbing on the sheets as he let the letter rest to the side. Another moment of quietness later, sobbing would be heard and tears would be seen in the duchy of Reinmar, coming from Brandt’s room. The latter moved the sheets away as he jumped from his bed, his leg still wounded, though at this point insignificant. Pivoting on his feet, tears dropped to the floor bellow Brandt, who, still sobbing, managed to slowly move himself towards the balcony, begging for fresh air. Closing the door behind him, Brandt placed his hands on the wooden railings of the balcony. He grabbedo onto it with force, clear sobbing would be heard to the dock bellow as Brandt lowered his head, more tears flowing from his eyes, his mind thinking back on all his memories with his dear apprentice and friend Sacul. Dung, dung, dung, be the sound of fist punching wood would be heard, thrice so. Directing his anger to the closest thing, Brandt would begin beating the wooden railing with his fist. He the did so again and again until it started bleeding. Moving back then to lean on the wall, Brandt slid down to sit on the Balcony, his legs before him, hurt still, but the Barclay had much in his mind to focus on it. His face had become red, as were his eyes. Looking up into the open sky above Reinmar then, in between his tears he was able to utter ”Krusae Zwy Kongzem” he whispered Sacul’s dying words as his head then turned to look down. Brandt remained there of hours, wordless, though quietly praying and commemorating Sacul Risha, a name he’d now never forget.

Brandt Barclay heard of the doings as he laid on his bed still, his leg severed and his body immobilized. A light grunt escaped his as he closed his eyes and dipped his head, showing respect for the young and brave, but fallen soldier. "Möge er bei Gott ruhen" he uttered in Waldenian.

Yea ofc there's always room to add more or imrpove. Pretty sure it'd be chemically impossible but maybe like maybe it can have different effects in different states, such as being like full crystal, or dust, or find some way to liquify it.

Not much of a lore writer myself, but I'll agree with that. Could make it in a little more "realistic" in a sense where you can perhaps have different variations to cure different stuff. It'd make it more complex and interesting.
