Fire spreading from it's wings, enlighting your path. As it's squeaks reach your ears, a beautiful song is heard. With it's meanings pure and true, it talks to your soul. The Phoenix, it roams our lands spreading it's wings wide and free. It is resistant to all types for weather, which makes it's travels longer then the avarage bird's. With it wings, just bigger then the eagle's it fills the horizon. Some say the life of a Phoenix, is as long as that of an Elf. Though it's way of dieing is different then others. It builds itself a nest, in which it lays itself. Then if the Nest is to it's likings, it is set a flame together with the bird in it. A new egg arises from the ashes, another bird ready for a Adventure. In ancient tales, people spoke about how the Phoenix was a blessing of the Sun. How a golden phoenix, flew down onto our Realm. Creating multiple Eggs. As recorded, in the present, there should be 12 eggs somewhere in our realm.. Those who hatch it await greatness, a feeling they will only once experience.. The feeling that this Majestic beast gives you. -A Lonely Traveler" Aeras Ibar'ker wanders through Malinor, Doing his daily routine. "Hrm..." Everything was normal.. Until a lot of squeaks were heard.. Beautiful chants. Suddenly a large group of majestic birds fly over, heading towards the Druid grove. As Aeras sees the birds, he is filled with joy, He lets out a small yelp of joy, before he starts to run towrads the Druid grove. As soon as he arrives, something seems different... as if something changed. Slowly he spirals up the stairs, towards the Grove's highest part, The moot room. The Closer he gets the more he feels a certain heat nearing him. Beads of sweat form on his face, dripping down slowly.. The heath rises until he sets foot into the Moot room, where he finds 12 patches of ash. Those small patches contain an egg each, all were red, though 3 of them had a Golden tint. Aeras scratches his head figuring what to do. "This is not something you see every day... Hrm.." After a long while he figures that he would have to gather the eggs. More sweat forms on his head as he touches each egg. A few grins can be heard as he spirals down the stairs, carrying the eggs. One is offerd to Oren, Another One is offered to the Dwarven King, Another one is offered to the High princess of Malinor, One is left behind in the city of Gronkkston, One is brought to Blundermore. Two are offered to the Druids of Malinor, And yet another two are left behind at the Cloud temple,Then two of the Golden ones, are offered to two Random travelers. And one of the golden ones is kept by me, Aeras Ibar'ker. Every one of the eggs, read the same note... A man cloaked in green can be found bringing them to their destination. OOC: This lore basically adds Phoenixes. A big thing is that: there will only be 12 phoenixes at once, since one phoenix only produces one egg at death. If one on the above list would like to claim his/her egg Pm me! Appearance: Phoenixes's plumages have colors, from yellow to red, except for three of the 12 Phoenixes, those shade from Gold to Scarlet and have some sort of Sparkle around them. Their wing span when fully spread, would be around 3.3 metre. It's claws are blunt, and not oftenly used as weapon. As the Phoenix goes through it's life it changes, a few things. Egg form: Just like your normal egg, though this egg would radiate a form of heat (Would most likely cause sweat.) Newly spawned: The Bird would radiate a lesser form of heat than it's egg form. it's plumage would be very soft. If it nears you it would give of some Lavender smell. 1 year old bird; The Bird radiates a greater form of heat than it's egg form. It's plumage would have been tougher. the Lavender smell that once was, would be no more. 1-99: The bird would grow slower than any other bird. It would most of the time be practicing it's chanting. 100: A small fire comes from the Bird, though the fire doesn't seem to harm anything or anyone. The fire also doesn't seem to cause a great amount of heat, nothing more than maybe a few drops of sweat. 200 and up: A good amount of fire comes from the bird, it again doesn't seem to harm anything or anyone/ It is still the same temperature as before. Near death: (This would be after it built it's nest.) The fire now seems nature harming, larger than before. It's temperature is very high. As soon as the bird is reduced to ashes, the temperature would be reduced to the temperature the egg would give off, and the fire would vanish. Behavior: A Phoenix's behavior depends on how it's environment acts around it, much like with In real babies. A Phoenix raised by Orcs is most likely to be Combative.. Phoenixes are will always! I repeat always. React to music, even in their earlier stages they will try to sing along to the music. In presence of a phoenix hatched from one of he golden tinted eggs a 'normal' phoenix seems much calmer. If a Owner of a Phoenix dies, the Phoenix will move on.. Finding another 'master' Habitat: The Phoenixes can live anywhere, though In cold environment they are less mobile. They could best survive in a normal temperature forest, like any other bird. Diet: The Phoenix likes to eat hot and/or spicy food, like Elrow berries. The Elrow berries would be eaten as if it was a normal berry. The Phoenix does actually Drink water, though in much fewer amounts as the regular birds. It also seems to be filled with energy when close to another source of fire. To clear things up: There will be a list with users that Own a Phoenix, to get rid of confusion. Phoenixes would be rare, and special. If someone would get to see one. their bodies would be filled with joy and happiness (Unless you play a Animal hating character.) A Phoenix would only obey to the first being it sees, Or maybe a T4-5 Communion Druid, Or Kha priest. I want to make scrambled eggs. (Pm'ed you.) Also. In general the lore is slightly lacking in my opinion. But seeing that you're probably doing this mostly for the fun of it, It seems fair. As he spots the egg he looks around then slowly picks it up and whisks it home. I call dibs son. But yes, very good lore.
