Have a nice day!

Whaaaaat? I knew you guys were listening. If only we could merge Native/Freya/Ever into one super being. With Native's level mindedness and calm spirit, Freya's emotional connection and wisdom, and Ever's Creativity and Kindness. That would be a good day. The true Triumvirate.

How do you know this will discourage players from solving matters RPly? If the flays want to raid Malinor, let them. That should encourage Malinor to get stronger forces, (aka better PVPers.))

Honestly, Malinor throws tantrums. And flays act trolly. Both sides are at fault. I'm just sick of the god damn ooc conflict myself.

  • Consistently depriving another player (or players) of their fun for your own personal gain or amusement, even after receiving appropriate warnings, is punishable if deemed necessary by the moderation teams. This may also be considered harassment. Essentially, don't be a troublesome player that only plays to annoy others or be a nuisance.

Does this mean something will finally be done?!  :trollhappy:

I can see this having potential.

As long as it's really used as a last resort to constant harrassment, honestly trolly RP, and a better catch all for anyone breaking/bending/slipping around previously established rules and not a (And I'm sure some people will pull this card) "I don't like this rp, we have to stop because it's in the rules," it will work.

So basically the people who whine the loudest on the forums will get their way? Not sure if I like this...

No, we're not dumb. It wouldn't be a single GM making that decision anyways.

Here's an idea.

How about you start teaching players to solve their problems and deal with it in game instead of stepping in and saying LOLOLOL We'll ban you!

What you're doing is teaching players that it's okay to go on the forums and complain about being constantly raided, or attacked or ETC instead of dealing with the problem themselves. If I get my town raided daily, I'd hire some damn good PVPers, and build up a city wall, and then kill those guys on sight.

Only if they try to abuse OOC rules, conning GMs, and loopholing them will I take it OOCly.

"Loosing a PVP Battle"

=/=

"Tell someone about dirty, trolly behavior, and general rude intent."

PVP is /not/ trolly, it is just unfortunately supported by a large number of trolls, thus giving it the rep that it has.

I remember this meeting, vaguely.

Though, from what I recall... I agree'd with all of the things~

This new rule has pretty much always been in place in the form of, "If we feel the need to ban you, we'll just ban you." It just has a little more wording and clarity to it this time around. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, as it's already been an unwritten law since the server began. Sometimes players just need a banhammer to the plonker and there's not going to be any reading of miranda rights, court-appointed attorney or phone-call and no one's going to give a **** because this server is ultimately a priviledge.
