As of the 9th of the Deep Cold 1598th year of the Father the Houses of Ruric and the Staunton formally declare their union in marriage. The two houses are proud to announce the Betrothal of Prince Artyom Ruric and Princess Annabel Staunton. The marriage will take place in the Krag under the watchful gaze of the FADR. Following the union the people of Norland shall host all folk of peaceful intent for a grand festival. All are invited to celebrate the union of two houses long bound by battle and friendship.

The blood our two houses have shed on the various battle fields of this world will never be forgotten by the House of Ruric. For over a hundred years the House of Staunton and the House of Ruric fought side by side against the tyranny of the Horen Empire. For this you have our undying friendship. You are invited to the marriage of Artyom Ruric and Annabel Staunton. All of your banners and entourage are invited to observe the marriage and following festivities. We ask that you do the great honour of giving away the Bride as to cement the bond between our two houses. That aside we of Ruric look forward to sharing a mug of ale and mead with the Staunton as our forefathers had done in ages past.

We extend the hand of friendship in the assumption that the Dwed of Urguan were not affiliated with and did not approve of the heinous assassination on our Prince by the Frostbeard clan. All of your ilk and court are invited to attend. On a lighter note, we of Ruric have long heard it boasted that the Dwed of Urguan brewed the best ales and mead, we would like to issue a challenge. As we of Norland believe our mead may be of higher quality. In pursuit of this most important judgement we would host a drinking competition between the Dwed of Urguan and the Norlandic peoples.

We of Norland would invite the young King Lothar d’Amaury to attend the marriage of Artyom and Annabel in hopes of continuing the friendship we had with your late father. Your people and your court are welcome to attend to enjoy the hospitality of Norland and to engage in the festivities. We would also take some time to honour the life of John I D'Amaury and his contributions to the defeat of the Imperium.

Dren in particular is well known amongst the men of Norland as a formidable warrior that displays great vigour and savagery on the field, an equal perhaps of the great champions of old. It is for this reason that we invite you and your court to the marriage of Artyom and Annabel. For not only is this a day to celebrate the union of two houses. But it is also a day to celebrate the glories of House Reyurnt and its many mighty warriors.

We of Norland will not disguise that we have never been close with the people or administration of Haense. The people of Norland and the friends of House Ruric have long been known to clash with the peoples of the Kingdom of Haense. However we believe that the fall of the Imperium gives us an opportunity to make old wrongs right. We extend an invitation to the court of King Marius of Haense in the hope of resolving old tensions and forging new bonds. We are aware that the councillors of the King will perhaps consider this to be a trap and thusly we do not hold great faith in the attendance of the Haensian delegation. Therefore the absence of Haense will not be taken as an offence merely as a rejection of our offer of potential friendship.

In accordance with our policy of bluntness we will not disguise our disapproval for those of Horen blood. But to dwell on old grudges and hatreds will not allow humanity to move forth from the shadow of the Imperium. It is with this philosophy in mind that we invite King Leopold of the Westerlands and his court to attend the marriage of Artyom Ruric and Annabel Staunton. As we conveyed to the Court of Haense, the convoluted past between the Rurics and the Empire would make the absence of the court of the Westerlands understandable. Despite this we hope to establish relationships with the Kingdoms that were born in the collapse of the Empire.
