THE IMPERIAL UNION OF 1787

ITINERARY

 

   I. Ceremonial Union

The bride is to meet the reception at The Basilica of the Final Revelations, where the couple shall exchange vows and their marriage right consecrated by Cardinal Manfried of St. Julia.

 

   II. Festivities at Novellen

The Imperial quartet will play their repertoire of love ballads, and a ballet shall be performed for the newlywed Prince and Princess.

 

   III. Banquet Among the Stars

The imperial waitstaff is to prepare a lavish menu for the personal guests of the Prince and his Princess. The menu includes;

 

    Hors d’oeuvres

 Salade Landaise, a salad beloved by the Lady Pruvia for its contrast of temperatures of the ingredients; made with duck breast, confit, lettuce, braised pork shank, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, and toasted croûtons.

 Pork Croquettes, a minced braised ham leg, egg-washed, floured, and fried. Served with a garlic aioli and lemon parsley chimichurri.

    Entrée

  Consommé, served piping hot, Consomme is a beef stock soup, made with a mixture of mirepoix and a splash of reduced sherry for its flavorful complexity.

    Plat Principal

 Foie Gras, a fattened duck liver, pan seared and plated with a grapefruit-Chardonnay sauce, and apple purée.

    Dessert

  Croquembouche, composed of profiteroles piled into a cone and bound with spun sugar and decorated with other confectionery such as sugared almonds, chocolate, and edible flowers, and covered in macarons and ganache.
