A DUCAL WEDDING

 

 

 

     It brings the Crown of Balian great pleasure to announce the forthcoming marriage between the Lady Yelena vas Ruthern and His Imperial Highness Alexandros Casimir Novellen. The wedding shall take place during the month of Owyn’s Flame, 14 B.A.- approximately a Saint’s Week from the date this missive is issued. A festival will be held beforehand- where merchants from afar can operate stalls to sell wares free of charge* and the tavern shall be manned for all to enjoy the merry festivities.

 

     The two had met during the Brothers’ War- a time most tumultuous in the history of our Grand Duchy- and one without much joy and happiness. Yet they turned this bloody period in our history into a bond which would last for a lifetime.

 

     Invitations would be sent across the realm of Almaris- near and far to all those willing to receive it and attend. Violence at the event will not be tolerated- and those acting with hostile or ill intent will be removed from the city of Atrus.
