Alfred Barclay took himself through the square of Sankt Johannsburg, overlooking the road to Valdev. He smiled - some. Perhaps he'd finally be able to accomplish St. Johann's dream.

"WER RASTET, DER ROSTET."

The Duke of Reinmar cried aloud - proudly slamming his chest.

Gottfried saluted his fellow battle brethren from Haense, and welcomed his Reinmaren kin with open arms.

"WER RASTER, DER ROSTET!

UND

GOTT MIT UNS!"

Marcus looked on, a nostalgic smile as the former Haeseni Meyster Knight, joined his Barclay comrades in reminiscing the times old.

Brandt, who served as his apprentice in smithing,

Erwin, whom he served under as Lieutenant,

Wilhelm who had recruited him, and many, many more...

"Shame to see em go..." *Humed the elf which had gathered a liking to the reinmaren people that for the most part where likely to leave now.* "Yet ay, cant keep em and the wish to stay united should be respected. Maybe Manfred will still be around enough to see them, maybe not but hey I hadnt spoken to them in awhile anyways."

Somewhere in the seven skies, an ancient ally of House Barclay smiles with his old friend "The Northern Fox" as he looked on to the recent events. . . The man bearing a Red Bull on the back of his armor smiled and said "Now THATS a Barclay Bargain!" ( @Miniguy15736)

Meanwhile, The Poet Marshal of Haense is simply happy that his cousin and close advisor, Alfred, finally had his moment to shine. ( @Gandhi)

Leopold was enjoying a nice afternoon with his fellow scholars on the beaches of Atheran Salvus. He refilled the glasses of those present with Salvian sparkling wine and lifted a Gillardeau Oyster to his mouth.

"And I told him guys... 'Your Majesty, if you seek prosperity, if you seek liberation: Come here to this gate! Majesty, open this gate! Majesty, tear down this wall!'"

The entourage laughed in unison, basking in the afternoon rays from the sun, before slurping the oysters.

"Wer rastet der rostet." Ser Konstanz said solemnly as he read the missive, he recalled his memories of his former home but knew the future of his people was now in their own hands.

Shortly after his celebration with The Red Bull, the long dead Erwin Barclay gets the sudden, completely unrelated urge to seek out his old pal Mio Mackensen - one of the soldiers he's most proud to have led - to have a drink and catch up.

Walter Weiss read over the missive, his armor still misted and stained with the blood of non-believers and savage orcs.

Duke Wilheim of Reinmar stood side-by-side with his brother in arms and Walter's grandfather, Felix Weiss when house Weiss had petitioned King Karl III for their enfoeffment of nobility and so the Weiss felt bittersweet at the news that they would no longer be able to refer to them as peers.

But he knew no matter where in the world there was a Barclay, one would never find rest nor rust.

"Dobry luck, comrades." He then headed to the tavern to drink his fill and sing the songs of victory.
