femurlord 2365 Popular Post Share Posted March 3 For Whom The Bell Tolls (Remastered) Spoiler Tranquility across Aevos had been shattered, the heavens glimmered briefly as a teal light ran over the continent, the world stirring as otherworldly bells toll. Aeos and Eos’ core rumbled, shockwaves shooting through your body, then fading quickly as peace was found again. A thought streaked across your mind, an intangible trespasser that whispered, were we safe? Hours later, a certain fortress had been possessed with a certain zeal. A light as dreadful as the storm that hung overtop of it was apparent before a whirling, black mass of bats escaped skyward, raining down blood stained pages upon the world, reaching each corner of descendant-kind. History is an ocean, endless stories existing within it as time laps at the world, drowning what was forgotten, what was lost. And as antiquity’s avid overseer, I charged deep into its bowels with my strongest at my side to scorn those who raised me, entombed me, with an insult most foul. In a sunken pit, lit by a flaming blade, I led the charge against Xion’s forebears, the first Lord of Death, who I’ve dethroned and beheaded, the Abysslord Malkaathe. Our exchange had been mythical as it shot through the earth in tremors, but what came next was legendary. With the battle won, we led ourselves further and deeper with a zeal left unsatiated. Thereupon our victory, we avariciously challenged a keeper of the Abyss, an agent sent by Aeriel, Saraneth the Binder, who kept the keys to the tomb of a million souls. Though, our quarry had not been the Old Lord nor the heaven sent, no. It was the occultic God who we unleashed into the Abyss upon besting the Angel, sending her fleeing back to the Golden Fortress in a streak across the skies. The Bell tolled across the world, you felt it as the first Apparition, occultic God of Mysticism and the Waking Synod, Mthyul Tlan awoke and subsequently fell to forces of both undead and devils as I wielded my sword. With an army of my own, I have laid this God of Mysticism to an eternal rest. Absorbing the sea of souls, the cornerstone of the Soulstream, I have killed its peaceful will. And now, I will wash over this realm with an army of unshackled souls, devouring all who wish for apotheosis. Necromancers, Mystics and foul preachers of the dead faith, I have consumed your icons, your gods. Know that you’re next. Know my name, Gashadokuro, God Eater.

JoanOfArc 4586 Share Posted March 3 A lone samurai began to ask the real question, "How does this effect the Shorewalkers who are not Mystics and radically different?" He pondered this heavily underneath the cherry blossom trees.
rathat 614 Share Posted March 3 “Ah, this does not bode well.” The aging mystic read the missive with growing bags under his eyes, which were already there, but they may as well get worse. "I assumed the vision to be of a merge and alliance, rather than faction wars..." ""
Turbo_Dog 1434 Share Posted March 3 Daal bounced around having severely poked the dark God. He thought for himself a fancy new name. God-Poker, God-Piercer. To the imp it didn’t matter he felt like a God already all the time!
ToodIes 1195 Share Posted March 3 “You don’t understand. “You can’t kill the god of a godless ideology. “You can kill a rotten bundle of souls in the Stream. You can kill an old man in the Abyss. “Will that make the Book’s point any less true? Will that erase the threat of any real deities- the Dictator Aeriel? “Maleficar. God-slaves. Waste your energy on the meaningless and die out.”
Damnit_Delmar 1070 Share Posted March 3 The infamous and dastardly Delmar looks towards the note in hand, his gaze flicking over the blood stained missive, nodding his head as he examined that name. "So this is who they spoke of. . .how intriguing" The crimson stained pages would be tossed to the flames, his form slowly rising, arms stretching as his old bones cracked and popped. "If this god can bleed, then it means it lacks any power, any union, any strength. What have those who praised old lords, been doing to cause such an easy victory?" After a few moments, he offered a nod, an idea coming to mind. The hands of that still mortal, lofting upwards to summon forth his gilded lifeforce.
xo31 459 Share Posted March 3 A wizard sits in his tower. "Oh, shit." he muttered as he read the missive. "At least we know it can be done. . ." =+= "Wait, how do you kill the god of a godless- you know what, nevermind. Xionism on top."
megavoltar 1110 Share Posted March 3 "GUWUWUWUWUWUWUHUUUUUUU" Hemlock. . . Hammock. . . Deadlock? Whatever the case was, a zombie trying to hand him the note lost said hand, as the dark-stalker was vigorously training their Razor's Edge technique. The side effect of their incredulous speed was that they could not talk like a normal person without sounding like a fan.

Morigung-oog 2358 Share Posted March 3 An ancient tender of the Elysian Wastes strode through harrowed halls, ghostly fingertips brushing past the shattered remnants of a Menhir. A chorus of three intertwined voices solemnly filled the area. "Du’urkthykzan daz’overrdalk garzu. Al’Fiktmerinek kknotoskhae." “A horned host rises. The Jailor’s deathknell.” "Dunru ot’zubrikas. Al’Kfurl’sek shai, urk’lakzut." “End of an era. The Synod’s work, complete.” "Basul pelosr undere skutur. Al’durngo-lott gathan." “Soul and bone coalesce. The blackest feat.” Where once such a vision was lost on them, it now, for the most part, made sense. Sorrow crept along her dour expression, remorse. A knee taken before an empty throne, a tear shed. A mission failed. A warning ignored.
