  1. I hope you know I always mistakenly read your name as "lemon key" instead of "le monkey".

Nooooo. q.q Warm thoughts being send your way!

  3. This... This shouldn't need special consideration. The continued existence of a devoted and active roleplay community (no matter how small!), not to mention an entire player race, as an independent entity should not be one threatened by staff in almost any circumstance at all, especially not hardcoded into the server mechanics of nation management. It should be decided through RP, Plain and simple. I think there is a big disconnect between what Staff and the Players see as the optimal norm for the server, and this difference has just caused one of it's best players to take an indefinite hiatus. This is the same sort of situation that caused the end of my own time as a Nation Leader as well. Just... Think. Does the situation and system described in the OP sound fun? Does it sound enjoyable? Does it sound like this person should return to the server at the end of their small break if the Activity Checks will continue to impact their mental health? And most importantly, How many times do you want this system to chase away formerly devoted players from our community. From LotC?
  4. Also the Iron Horde will allow Halflings to Vassalize without IRP repercussions if needed both in this map and the Next. It's clearly an OOC issue that your community should not be punished for IRPly.

@rukioThis isn't about IRP, its about players have a place to RP. Besides, Codes of Krug state that killing halflings is a big no no because it's like harming children.

  5. Activity Checks punish good roleplayers.
    That's it. It's just a fact!

  6. I too despise the activity check. Making RP a zero sum game where Larger nations are encouraged to OOCly oppress smaller groups so they can defend their own slice of the pie chart promotes much of the Toxicity that staff claims they don't want to see and point at as the reason things aren't like the good old golden age. "It's the players forcing bad RP and avoiding conflict/interaction/good stories" Well maybe we wouldn't avoid it if Staff didn't punish entire nations for leaving their capital walls. God, I am actually worried about the Orcs for the same reasons because staff has mentioned not wanting Racial Hubs to have the same levels of OOC protection as in the past. Knowing as Caravaggio said that a Major administrative blunder was made concerning the Iron Horde and their activity flag and then said mistake was not only unaddressed officially but literally laughed away by certain staff members joking that orcs were a "dead race" already ticked me off, and to hear some of the best SoL RPers on the server are also getting harassed over not being "mainstream enough" to attract the massive swarms of teenaged Haensians and Celianorians adds insult to injury. Justice for Hayhollow, get rid of Activity Checks.
  7. Somewhere out there a Clanless News-Uruk would be very interested to know of this information... The grey orc unfortunately had not visited Urguan in quite some time due to the recent actions of those same Irehearts. "Hmm... hoo tu enturvyu..."
  8. Kor'garr the Clanless stands near the entrance of the Betharuz Tavern, remembering that first arrival of the Lesser Storm Elemental above the skies of San'Velku, how one orc was blasted by lightning for their ferocity. Upon seeing Vrilkon'Ugluk again he will cheer in celebration with the good news.
  9. Looks great, few questions: Does the original body used to make a tulpa have an impact on ability (Orc strength vs Human strength, etc?)? If the original body (crafted Tulpa) was altered somehow (animii limb, redstone tattoos, etc) how would that carry over? Does mimicry only copy the physical form or the outfit/garb as well? Are there limits on what race's bodies can be used to make tulpas?
  10. Kor'garr the Clanless takes note of this update with a large frown, thick brow raising in confusion. He then carefully annotates the public missive, underlining several sentences of importance for later use with a mottled Jabbernak feather quill. "Evin uz Orcs ahr werkyng ohn teechyng owur peepul. Valze promisez vrum'ag playze uv lurnyng ahr'ag zhame."
  11. On one hand, There does appear to be a discrepancy that should be addressed. On another, The idea of adding more red tape for volunteer staff and players alike seems unpalatable to many here. As mentioned above maybe golems shouldn't need an ST item? Less OOC hassle = more RP. Sounds good as long as there is a way to address absentee Atronach players that drop the character. shouldn't punish one player if another leaves the server.
  12. Hey there, may I ask about a lore submission you made?

  14. Kor'garr the Clanless laughs as he reads the declaration, already approving of the twin Rukagoths.
  15. Kor'garr the Clanless just looks at Article IV. Roaring laughter could be heard from the front towers of San'Velku shortly after the mustached orc's reading of the document... Until finally he settles down, storing away the missive into a twine binder labelled "Treaties". "Much Blah. Letz peep iv akzhun vollowz."
  16. Kor'garr the Clanless looks over the message with approval, and begins packing his Scribe satchel and weapons for a trip to the smallfolk village. "Azh tryul tu anuddah. Meybi Kor'garr zhuld hav bin'ag Lawyur..." [This will be mentioned in the K.Weekli!]
  17. Wow, Antag RP must be harder than I thought. Kor'garr's been the bad guy before and I've never seen issues like those described recently.

  18. Giant Moths and Absentee Trials.

  19. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth of the Iron Horde, smiles widely around thick tusks as he looks at the declaration. A set of finely made Jabbernak feather quills and vivid jungle inks are prepared as the greyskin departs. It is time for the new headline, and many quotes will need to be taken firsthand...
  20. Kor'garr the Clanless looks with wide eyes at the image of the 'vampiric creatures'. He then rereads the description of the tunnels being made. "Zkah... Daht'z nub dah bloodzukerz, etz dah zoggin' bruud vrum Khron-Hundmahr!"
  21. Kor'garr, Skriptgoth, nods in approval of the new Huntsgoth taking his claim.
  22. Fantasy Food RP? ST/ET ingredients? Magical effects? What might you all think?

  23. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth of the Iron Horde, reads over this declaration with an approving nod. The drawing of a Jabbernak feather quill from a bottle of vivid jungle ink proceeds the following message. "To Kyng Cyrus, Azht of name, Thain of Bywater, The Iron Horde recognizes your declaration of war against the Buurz of this realm with respect and fervor. Our own nation will gladly take up arms alongside your warriors in glorious Wagh against the dark infested forces blighting the Mortal world and offending the Spirits. If there is a time we should coordinate further, please reach out to myself, our Dominus Madoc'Lur, or the Rex himself. For Blood and Honor, Kor'garr the Clanless"
  24. Laughs in Orcs being the only ones to have their Brother created nation unfractured.
  25. I HAVE RETURNED! HEALTHY!
