...Ok, mayyybe I can push out two articles , one for the start of this week and one for the end.

  3. Skriptgoth Kor'garr the Clanless wonders why the Dwarves are complaining so much about the misguided humans. Sure, they only worship a single spirit instead of any of the others, but Kanun is a great choice! Without the regular blessings Krugmar's siege weaponry wouldn't be nearly as effective... Hmm, maybe the humans need a better shrine and they are jealous of all the dwarven statues, that must be it. The grey orc begins drafting designs for a great monument to the Exploding Cross...
  4. I LOVE THIS! Also can you include the date of transition between FA and SA by any chance? Also If you want I can provide the orcish terminology for the IRL days of the week/Months of the LotC year.
  5. Wonderful lore! I love this idea, and have a few questions... -Would bolts made with alternate heads than iron/steel be possible? Such as gold tipped/slayersteel to harm certain undead, or maybe if someone really wanted ST mats? -can additives like Frost Salt/Flame Salve be put on these bolts? -Are there any specific strings/parts needed to make a design this introcate, such as springs? -How would one repair the more intricate parts if the weapon is damaged? Ok that's all I can think of for now, I love this and appreciate the Invention posting! +1!
  6. KWEEKLI FRIDAY NOT THURS.
Doing a lot better now, Hope everyone is alright.

  7. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth, wakes up groggily in his bed with ink and papers sprawled all over his grey bulk. messy notes and sleep deprived sketches litter the nearby pelt blankets as he leans up with a rumbling groan. the combing and waxing of a mustache and some brushed tusks later, he is finally ready to begin drafting up an article on the declared war, until a Missive is pinned against his front door with a heavy thud. "Oh ryte. wiz goht peece wyth Nor'azath uurleyur. Huh." The newsorc crosses out a title and replaces it with: "The Mushroom Wagh of Azh Single Day" [This will definitely be talked about in the Kaktuz Weekli.]
  8. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth, stares at the bundle of papers handed to him... And then busts out laughing. "GWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Tryul nub evin ztarted agh ulreddi kondemnyng hymzelv!" The grey orc wipes away a tear of mirth before looking over the story with a more serious face. He hums in thought before picking up the Jabbernak feather quill from his writing desk, dipping it in vivid red ink to then underline portions of the script. Grey digits rub at his bulky chin. "Diz iz'ag hozh werk doh, lettyng hiz syde uv dah ztori bi peep'd vor zerteyn. Kor'garr rizpektz et."
  9. I have never thought of this perspective, and it makes a lot of sense. I will make sure to account for it in my RP. =) At the same time, I think there is a difference between "My adrenaline lets me be the perfect unfeeling warrior" and "Orc on fire lashes out flailing wildly with his berserker axe in pain and agony, losing all sense of reason and only wanting to crush anything nearby in revenge." I hope you see more of the second instead of the first.
  10. Due to the OOC numbers game and the so called "hugbox" nature of all the NAPs and defense pacts going around Orcs can't afford to be aggressors. Anytime they try their playerbase crumbles and Krugmar enters yet another dark age for several months. It sucks that OOC is actively prohibiting good RP, but as an Orc I don't know how to fix it without getting another "Everyone VS Krugmar". In the meantime Orcs have become Darkspawn hunters to let out the aggression and that has been a lot of fun.
  11. Yay no war Bedtime gonna brain melt now

  13. "We want conflict RP"
"Ok, here is some IRP tension!"
MFW No IRP response, OOC WC pushed by third party via NAP.
"Ok, guess we don't want conflict RP?"

  15. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth, gleefully smiles through his glorious mustache as he signs his name upon a roster of the founding members. The Jabbernak quill, forge-weathered hands, crimson eyes and endless pursuit of the Truth... All of his talents will be put to making a greater world for the Descendants of Almaris. "Vor ah nuu bigynning." He then pauses. "Oi, dyd wiz tehl dehm how tu reech uz?" [This will be mentioned in the Kaktuz Weekli!]
  16. Hey there, thanks for making this great lore! A few questions: 1. How does this interact with Daemonsteel, either in raw or refined form, given the temperature based properties of both. Could imbued grey/silverwood in a weapon permanently chill the daemonsteel? Would heated daemonsteel be easier to harvest grey wood with? 2. Is the two branch limit due to standard descendant strength? Or would orcs, golems, etc; be able to harvest more? 3. Could arrows of Silver Wood for the body (and possily the arrowhead as well) be made, if so how, how many, with what limits, and would they have the same effect as the standard silver wood redlines?
  17. Kor'garr the Clanless sets this missive into his shelf of materials labelled 'Petra Aftermath'. Perhaps these knights might be willing to discuss their perspective on the conflict in an interview? "Entureztyng..."
  18. Kor'garr the Clanless, Scriptgoth, looks over this report with clear interest, marking it down in his notes for possible leads. A shame the names of such vital witnesses were obscured, greater interviews would be a wonderful way to dive deeper into the truths of this mess... Several names are underlined however, including Marius of Haense, Louis D'Azor, and Wings Von Draco... "Let'z peep zum ztoriez..." [This will be referenced in the Kaktuz Weekli]
  19. While greatly stressed, the Scriptgoth has no plans to discontinue the Kaktuz Weekli.
  20. Kor'garr the Clanless, Skriptgoth, yells out from his tower in frustration as he hears of this for the first time. The grey orc is seething with anger, eyes flickering as he marches out towards the parapets of San'Velku's front gates. The crumpled missive rasps from the stress of his pale-knuckled, pallid fist tightening in barely restrained fury. "AL-UK YAR, LAT ZKAHKYNG IDJIT!" After several minutes of harshly beating upon a training dummy, the grey orc returns to his writing desk with a drawn out sigh. Kor'garr grumbles while pulling out a replacement quill and a fresh bottle of jungle inks. Apparently he is the only living member of Krug's kind to know what Diplomacy is...
  21. Kor'garr reads over the book in approval, nodding all the while. Crimson eyes peer at the writing with a clear ease of comprehension, a low hum leaving his rumbling, scarred chest. "Veri 'hozh werk..."
  22. Kor'garr's brow raises at the idea of watching this tournament. Perhaps it would make a good article, or even an opportunity for betting? The grey orc sets down the missive upon his desk, pulling out a blank sheet of parchment and dipping his Jabbernak quill into vivid jungle inks... "To Thalgrim Goldhand, Kor'garr has interest in spectating and publishing an account of this upcoming Tournament in the Kaktuz Weekli. Is there a time we should meet up beforehand to discuss the details? Ancestors guide you, Kor'garr the Clanless, Scriptgoth"
  23. I approve of greater Economic mobility and the abolishment of skytatos.

  24. Kor'garr the Clanless laughs brightly upon seeing the missive land on his writing desk, handed to him by the author himself. He reads it over with a wide smile, making notes to include this announcement in the next Kaktuz Weekli. "Hozh Werk Ghoraza! Lup'Ublulhar vor dah bigynnyng uv'ag new ayg! Lup'Krucibul!"
