  3. [!] The following is personal character information, that would not be known to anyone. Do not metagame. THE HEARTH The Grand King was sat in his royal chambers, hewn from stone deep within the mountains. His heart burned warm and embers flew around the room, though he sighed deeply with troubled lungs. As he looked to the fire, he remembered the burning of Breakwater and Brasca, the razing of fields and the burning of bodies. The hearth gave him no warmth in that. He thought of himself, as child of Gloin and as of the dwedmar people blessed by Anbella. An unease crept over him as he finally took a good look at his surroundings. He felt a tug on his Ayagh, calling him elsewhere. THE CREATION The Emerald King picked up a chisel and his trusty Anymindaz, having forged equipment for the legionnaires he felt his Claigh itch for some stone work. Upon a block of stone he placed the tip of his chisel and struck! As flakes of rock fell to the ground, bricks of the Brascan keep crashed onto the floor. He is prophet of Creation, having spent over a hundred years forging, carving stone, cutting gems, powering golems and yet then he found himself to be architect of Destruction. THE BULWARK Garedyn, a devotee of Dungrimm, strolled through his collection of war trophies: the banner of an orcish clan, a shield with the eye of Khorvad, the hand of a Norlandic King, and so on. He stared at each one deep in thought, reminiscing about his days being a simple city guard manning the gates. He had never struck the first blow in a spar or in combat, always preferred a shield or polearm. To defend, to be a bulwark for his people, that is how he always lived. No matter how hard drawing blood came to him, he raised his shield no matter what. Like any dwed, the Arymagh rejoiced at each victory, at each foe slain at each memory of battle taken. Though, to be a bulwark for his people, to shield them from the endless hoardes that seek to stain their mountains red, a spear would be needed. The Grand King coughed in his echoey halls, putting up potted plants in his room, pumping the forge fire, and practicing his martial techniques. “For teh people, oi will endure it all” He said resolutely.
  4. The Grand King sighed deeply, letting out a cough as well. "At least she will beh with Bjor now," He moved to prepare some tinctures and herbs for a proper seer funeral.
  5. ISSUED BY: MARQUIS OF LOTUSGRAD ON: Sun’s Smile, 1954 I.T Tov and Yermey, 507 E.S A few Saint’s day ago, a pagan shrine was constructed within the Marchdom of Lotusgrad in the cover of night, tainting the surrounding area. In lieu of simply destroying it, The House of Whitewood humbly requests the clergymen of Diocese of Buron to perform a cleansing rite upon shrine for proper sancitifaction. In addition to this heathenry, wanderers possessing dark magics passed through recently through the Marchdom, seeking to prey on those weak in faith. Fortunately, no one fell to their temptation, but the local garrison also requests for their weapons to be blessed and anointed with holy water should such vile miscreants return. The faithful canonists through out the realm are welcome to visit this sanctification take place, and offer their prayers to ensure a strong presence of Godan. 6. "Ea need to inspect ve area for weak spots" The Whitewood Marquis frowned, having a hazy if any recollection of the events that transpired. "More training will do them good, Henrik is too much like his father in that regard."
  7. The Marquis of Lotusgrad, unwrapped himself from the bandages the monks from Cloud Temple had covered him in. As he relaxed in his keep that stood upon the Loch Duin, he released a sigh of relief. Finally putting the hotheaded emotions behind him, and reconciling with his family, and doing his duty that he was always meant to do, only know, which much more liberty than he once had when he was younger.

  10. Deep in stone Our iron swings The ore we mine Is worthy of Kings Eternal Prosperity Is what we’ll bring The Mining Order of Eternal Prosperity is the national mining guild of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, established in 158 S.A Kaldithrunn during the Aevos Coalition War by the Grand King, Garedyn The Emerald. The Mining Order represents the latest in a long line of successive mining guilds in Urguan, from the Prospector’s Guild to the Obsidian Pickaxe. The Mining Oder of Eternal Prosperity shall stand true to its name, and its labourers will be tasked with delving into the deepest and richest veins in Aevos. It is not a simple guild for the gathering of resources, instead, only the worthy and trusted spelunkers can call themselves a member. Ard’skuldermar The Arch Caver is the Guild lord of the Mining Order. They are responsible for the administration of the mines around the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and thus hold an extremely important position within the Kingdom. Thrudol’Mugdormar The Chief Miners are the foremen of the guild, tasked with the administration of specific mines. They are expert miners of the guild, assigned with resource production in Urguan’s most protected mines, such as Daemonsteel and Diamond mines, as well as mining in other allied nations. Mugdormar The Miners of the guild make up the bulk of the extraction force of the guild. They are trusted and skilled enough to mine the most essential resources for Urguan. Umgorki The Cavelings are the newly joined guild members, deemed to have enough talent to one day become skilled miners. These dwarves are assigned basic jobs such as hauling, minecart pushing, and the mining of semi-precious stones. Unlike its predecessors, the Mining Order assigns trials to its members to ensure the presence of Grimdugan’s blessing within them. The First Trial This trial involves an interview with the guild leaders, so that one may prove the reasons as to why they are worthy of joining. The Second Trial For an Umgorki to become a Mugdormar, they must demonstrate all the skills they have learned while doing their apprenticeship. Mining technique, ore appraisal, cavern navigation, and so on. The Third Trial The ultimate test to determine if someone is worthy of becoming a Thrudol’Mugormar is to see if they are capable of opening up a new mine on their own. Guild members are allowed to keep 60% of their haul, the other 40% is saved for the kingdom. A dwarf is expected to uphold their oaths and follow the distribution above, if they break their oaths and are unable to control their greed they are unworthy of Grimdugan and are cast out of the guild as oathbreakers. Guild members are expected to provide their portion of their haul yearly. Failure to do so will result in the revoking of one’s benefits. Guild members may complete special orders and limited-time requests for money. Once a year the guild will host a Guild Day, where all members of the guild are to attend and collaborate on a project together. Mine Access Only Guild members can access Urguani mines. The higher one’s rank within the guild is, the better mines they can access. Thrudol’Mugdormar are granted tax deductions based upon contributions, custom-made equipment (magical an alchemical), and personal golems. Mugdormar are granted tax deductions based upon contributions and custom-made equipment. Umgorki are granted standard equipment. “By my pick and beard, I swear this to the Grand Kingdom and Grimdugan, I will delve to grow my hoards and that of my people and use my blessing of greed for greater good. If I let my greed overtake me, and covet the glimmer at the detriment of the people, may my pickaxes rust and my lanters go out for eternity.” Fill out the form below to send an application to the guild. You will be contacted by a guild representative. ROLEPLAY NAME: IN GAME NAME: DISCORD USERNAME: PRIOR MINING EXPERIENCE: ARE YOU A CITIZEN: ARE YOU WILLING TO SWEAR THE OATH:

  13. Ser Sterling SILAS Whitewood wept inconsolabely throughout the night upon hearing this news. The man who he always referred to as Father Tonito in his heart, even when he became a cardinal, had died in war. He was one of the few people Sterling could confide in, trusting him more than some of his family. His spiritual guide, the one who baptised him and granted him his name, gone. The following day, Silas would construct a shrine in his lands in dedication of the Cardinal, wiping the tears away with his white fur cloak.

  24. [!] The following missive is spread to the people of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Ingame Date IRL DATE ISSUED BY: THE GRAND KING ᚷᚱᚨᚾᛞ ᛖᛞᛁᚲᛏ ᚢ ᚷᚱᚨᚾᛞ ᛖᛞᛁᚲᛏ ᚢ YOTH BRATHMORDAKIN NA YOTH URGUAN ᛁᛟᚦ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛁᛟᚦ ᚢᚱᚷᚢᚨᚾ I hereby issue this edict to update the citizens of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan about the developments within the Kingdom and the current state of affairs of the realm of Aevos. War is upon us, but the Grand Kingdom shall remain steadfast and maintain transparency with its people. THE WAR ᛏᚺᛖ ᚹᚨᚱ Our Grand Kingdom has been summoned to war by our long-standing allies, the Haeseni. However, our participation in this conflict is not solely out of obligation by duty, which any dwarf would uphold, our participation is paramount to the prolonged prosperity of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. It is known to many that the League of Veletz, self-declared anti-imperialists, have been using underhanded means to exert their influence far past the midlands and across the Heartlands, endeavouring to warmonger against all nations they have the capacity to. The killing of Petran nobility, to obtain access to vital resources. The funding of Aaunic rebels, which resulted in the regicide of Edmund. They harbour and exalt bandits so as to damage the supply lines of rival nations whilst feigning innocence. It would be one thing to declare righteous war to avenge wrongs done against your home- it is another entirely to mastermind politics and schemes in a covert endeavour to destroy your rivals without simply saying such. All of these reasons are enough for Urguan to be concerned, for our nation's economy depends on trade with the Heartland nations. However, our hoard is robust enough to last us through such catastrophes, and it is not in our nature to meddle with the affairs between Yrromar. However, many crimes of Veletz against Urguan have gone unanswered. The debearding of Tundo Golhand has still not been answered. This atrocity against our people was committed by the Canons Regular, a military organisation under the former employ of the League. Once their crimes became so great, that not even the League could get away under the cowardly veil of plausible deniability, the Canons Regular were “banished.” Thus conveniently, the perpetrator was never brought to justice and no recompense ever arrived for Tundo Goldhand. Since then, they have continued their connections with the Ferrymen, harbouring the brigands who proudly proclaim their debearding of the 31st Grand King. Upon the request of the wider world to hold the Ferrymen accountable, the Veletzians lied and pretended that there was no connection. Recently, this lie has been exposed after the brigands brazenly rallied within the lands of Veletz in a fortress under their control. In addition, during the conflict with Norland, it was the League of Veletz that decided to strike the first blow upon us, despite no provocations from us before. They insisted that their lands had been raided by Frostbeards, but never attempted to resolve the issue beyond such. Naturally, they were repelled but were not sated with the taste of one defeat. The League of Veletz led another force to the gates for skirmish where they were soundly defeated and the Duke of Adria captured, who was released amicably and thereafter declared that Veletz would release its ‘outstanding grievances’ against Urguan. Finally, Veletz ceased its spontaneous failing raids against dwarven lands and instead sought to terrorize the less defensible territories of humanity. The League of Veletz is currently exerting its power in an attempt to dominate the midlands. If they are allowed to do this without opposition, their bloodthirsty nature will not allow them to be satisfied, and they will come for all those who remain, including us. Our Grand people shall take a stand before such is allowed to pass and place the hefty might of unified dwarfdom upon the scales to aid the delicate Balance of Yemekar. THE LEGION ᛏᚺᛖ ᛚᛖᚷᛁᛟᚾ The promised Legion reforms have taken effect, with new barracks established and paychecks flowing. The Grand Kingdom plans to install anti-raid infrastructure in the form of watch towers and aviaries throughout the land. This is to prevent raids from both the undead and mundane. The once slumbering giant of the Legion shall slowly rise from its rest. In addition to this, Sigrun Stonehammer shall reprise his role as Grand Marshall for the duration of this war. ECONOMY ᛖᚲᛟᚾᛟᛗᛁ With the issuing of Legion paychecks, and buying resources from our miners, the growth rate of our hoard has diminished slightly. However, even with this and the taxation from the blue monks, the hoard has grown to its highest amount so far in Aevos, and further growth is projected, and the Grand Kingdom is discussing the establishment of a merchants' guild, to help counter the costs of war. Our top economists project an increase in demand for war materials, which our nation produces in spades. The Riverrun Accord between the Grand Kingdom and Petra also allows us to supply ourselves with copper for practically no cost. JOB OFFERINGS ᛃᛟᛒ ᛟᚠᚠᛖᚱᛁᚾᚷᛊ The Following Jobs are currently vacant within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan Grand Steward - The Grand King is searching for someone to delegate the duties of taxation and revenue management to. Guild Lords - Smithing | Mining | Magical | Husbandry | Merchantry guild lords are needed to begin reformations of Yemekar’s Workforce.
