The more I look at these High Elven posts, the more I wander how many people are still going along with it, even the High Elves themselves. I can smell Malinor just around the corner too if this keeps happening.

They're not really mistreated, they're just expected not to breed with high elves or harbor impure high elves.
And yeah a lot of high elves can be rude, but it's just something you laugh. We're actually able to evict any high elf from our district if they annoy us. (So long as they aren't the Sohaer.)

So, whoever is more knowledgeable about magic, do I need a teacher for blood magic or can I give a character small access to it without magical background? Or know a form of magic from a teacher and experiment from there?

Mmmm, then I'll message the other GM that does magic to ask why. Now that I reread it, I saw Urasept was one of the only people who did blood magic, since if I remember correctly, he also had it in Aegis or something. So I am guessing it would have to be tought magic unless your write lore for it or something for a character. That's just my thought on it.
