I do not make roleplay posts often at all. I am almost always OOC on the forums. The reason I firmly refuse your argument is that I would classify it as senseless. PvP default and RP default both have very dire flaws. I think it can and it might just work. The only issue would be dealing with people who dislike the idea in role play, who would most likely avoid any interaction or spam with ooc chat about it. The idea: Is Good. The context you want to apply it to, however, is not the best one you could pick.

Aegis is like old music. The only reason you prefer it better was because you are one of the few around during Aegis. I personally prefer the now over Aegis because I have became a better RPer since then.

Quality of Rp has only improved. Anyone remember old Oren and how bad the rp was? Everyone hung out in a bakery and there were powergame fights there everyday, people didn't respect leaders as it would make sense to, and kingdoms actually have substantial borders and populations instead of being just "I guess this is the border maybe."

Minimize OOC reputation, abuse OOC minecraft fear. I was downright terrified of the Flay in Abresi, because I couldn't fight them and I knew they were after my items.

If you don't want items, you can probably make a statement by taking them and burning them. I dunno.

So I have to use OOC in RP.

My friend was banned. He was unbanned later, he had to go trough 3 appeals, to show how much he wanted to be back, and it worked. I don't think he is wasting his time at all.

Lol, I am called edgy quite often. I consider it a complement as my char was never meant to be mundane or normal.

Edgy is a word used to describe someone who is clearly trying to obtain attention, be the "main" character, or otherwise playing a Gary Stu/Mary Sue character. Hoods, masks, hidden blades, fake scars, different eye colors, unnatural acrobatics, mysterious code names, that sort of thing.

Its just as "cruel" to call people edgy as it is to generalize people who call others edgy into a group of Game of Thrones watching, Russian, trolling, peasants.

Instead of asking why someone would request a revokation of oneself. How about thinking it was a smart idea to protect themselves. Outdated VA's risk being revoked as a punishment. Request and start from scratch... Punishment and wait to be able to appeal it... hmmm. That is a hard decision.
