So the Lore Team has a relatively minimal announcement for everyone! An alteration to the layout of Archtypes, and Subtypes amongst the Arcane magics! Most of this alteration is simply slamming the Subtypes into three sections, Alteration, Evocation and Illusion. Most of this is all the same, except for the Evocation section, which now has Elemental Evocation, Arcanism and Conjuration! Alteration: Transfiguration Telekinesis Translocation Evocation: Elemental Evocation Arcanism Conjuration Illusion: Sensory Illusion Mental Magic Cognitism Elemental Evocation still holds all of the elements currently present in lore, aside from arcane shielding, and arcane evocation; which now moved into Arcanism. Lastly, Conjuration is exactly the same, and has not received any alterations. The reason for this change is quite simple- simplicity, coherency, and because it made sense! To be clear, the different elements in Elemental Evocation must still be learned individually, and arcane evocation/shielding are still separate magics, and must be learned separately. So aside from categorization and names, not much has changed! I'd also like to point out this thread... Link No one was fond of tiers, and how they dictated peoples power. Whilst this idea literally re-implements them, and defines each and every power level. This system clearly had the Mat system in mind, and it brings back the restrictive nature which I personally hated from the old Mat. The removal of the Mat offered one saving grace; it wasn't restrictive on creativity. This undoes that.

It seems more like renaming Archtypes, and if I understand correctly, restricts people to a single archtype... Which if that is the case, I'm heavily against the idea. Not to mention, a lot of the "additions" are already largely possible. Edit: After looking over again, it certainly is pinning people into one archtype... It kills massive amounts of creativity, and actually damages a lot of lore already in place. -1

As the visible ward hums with energy around the taint, the aura's glow gently illuminates the tainted grass. However, something strange seems to take place- the sickly taint halts, no longer eating and boiling away at the once life-filled grass... It halts, now seemingly stagnant. The ward had seemed to silence the taint, however the oddities seem to continue- the ward begins to light up, the hum promptly halting, the ward fades lacking any energy... The conclusion would become clear; a ward is capable of halting taint, it cannot disperse it like other magics. This in turn, costs a large surplus of mana, and thus a source of mana is required...

Was heavily powergaming illusion/forcing sensation on people via singled emotes, and no work-up to any of the forced images/emotions/feelings. Continued to hold and Event, consisting of things only able to be done by members of staff, and ET specifically. Conditions of blacklist (temporary, permanent, until appeal, etc.): He may appeal in three weeks, in which he will then apologize to me, and the leader of the ET, Freema. For ignoring me when I tried to resolve the situation, and attempting to evade a GM; and also for trying to do the ET's job. It's fine to make player-run events, in fact its encouraged. However, this doesn't permit you to powergame magics you don't even have on your character. Simultaneously heavily breaking lore, without notifying the LMs of what you were doing.

This Lore has been Denied. Many of the LMs didn't like exactly how this "evil druid" was done, and also held reservations with the idea of them being more powerful.

This lore has been Denied I'll use one of the responses the Lore got during the voting process, as I personally agree. "Beyond the physical and ethereal dynamics of this not quite making too much sense, I get an certain vibe when I look over the lore. It is reasonably fleshed out, but I am confident that it will 1) not contribute in a meaningful way to collective Dwarven role-play, 2) be abused somehow and 3) remain within a specific clique."
