  1. Depending on how large the flames are, golems shouldn't take 3 emotes to extinguish + it can be easily spammed (via mundane torches, matches, etc). Same /w reanimations For occuli, restricting them 2 solely hand-held objects is silly- ST have allowed worn objects so long as they're able to be torn off the same way (i.e. flimsy chain)- in many cases it's easier than trying to take something that's being grappled (and I also dont want 2 redo my cool glass jewelry). As long as necros accept the risk of ppl just being able to yank their occuli off it shuld be otherwise fine
  2. John scratched his head at the ballot that'd found its way into his mailbox, and scribbled down two names before sending it back. VOTE ONE: Queen Sybille VOTE TWO: Queen Sybille
  3. nah for blessed child u need a Naztherak to create it in the first place
  4. "Zo . . ." Nahtl murmured, lowering her horned head directly in front of the paper stapled to the board. "Wi flat Nor'azath next, yub? Zkah'in fayke zhomoz agh week bodiez," the orcess sneered, grasping the paper between her thumb and forefinger to tear down. "Nub hav kunnection tu zpiridz - agh latz mizznayme dem, tuu! Aztran is nub Ra! AZTRAN IZ NUB RA!" the, very zealous, Aztran worshipper cried.
  5. "How drab . . ." an old, rotting, Dame Viktoriya sneered -- eyes squinted at the flier that'd somehow drifted into the catacombs. "Knife-ears pretendin' to be canonists, kyakyakyahgh! They ain' even go to tha' seven skies!". With an ugly-sounding, gurgly cackle, she crumpled it and ate the paper, continuing on her merry way.
  6. John signs the parchment, smiling the sun's smile. "I love Hyspia!"
  7. Zarei are playable creatures in some role-playing games

  8. An old Mage-hunter hoists a blue-tinged blade, smoke filtering from their helm. Void Magi were a bane, anywho -- regardless if the report had been fabricated, or not. -- John pouted, scratching his chin. "What happened to their trial?"
  9. TO Unwillingly, if you are 8 years old, you cannot play on this server! GET OUT!! Actual question; What's been your fav experience? How do you think things have degraded or improved since then? Is lore headed in a good direction?
  10. "Elves," snorted an old rosy-haired Human, gnawing on the roach of his cigar. "Nonsense, this and that ... why, a trusty, iron blade would fell any of them the same! Ahk, ahk . . ."
  11. A young Fabian Weiss looks up at the man, gnawing on a piece of rock candy. "I saw vy kissing a man. Mankisser," the child hissed, before scampering off like a rat.
  12. John, at the end of his pilgrimage with Sybille, Cesar, and the many others, felt his eyes well with tears at the letter. The man bowed his head, refusing the smile that dared creep upon his face; as foul a man he was for marrying Lucia only as a guise, she was dead, now - and perhaps he could live happily. Tired and horribly fatigued, he came home to his beloved at the end of the day, offering out a flier. "So ... what ist teur ring size, pepinillo?" @teeylin
  13. "Cheapskates!" A man howled, glaring at the missive. "Only a hundred-n-fifty!"
  14. John recalled, at times, quite despising the man -- at best he was ambitious and at worst, a royal prick. But seeing those beasts beat him to his last, John had lost his mind. They grew up as brothers, raised by Callista but to different paths. They grew close and distant as years went on. Different creeds, beliefs, blood; Callista had all but disappeared, erasing what little relation they had left. And yet ... As An-Gho and his kin fought tooth and nail against Sibyl's Consort, he found his old fervor returning. Each blow was worst than the last, and after Gwenyth had entered and punched the Queen til' the poor woman fainted, the Baron went feral. Great, feathery wings upon his back and talons upon his gauntlets, he mauled at the gate. Fruitless. He yelled. Fruitless. And as Ezren died, he could do nothing but watch. For the rest of his life, he'd be marked by his rage and cowardice.
  15. I want to put my dedicant thru some kind of life-threatening challenge, but idk WHAT (and how)

I could always just do a forum post but that feels like it makes it invalid

      RAH I misworded

i MYSELF am the dedicant, and I think the char could just use a real challenge (which, I could give in my own headcanon by doing forum post rp but that has no effort)

ask your teacher to run a player event for you in an environmental task, or ask a dark magic player if they'd be interested in creating some conflict for you in which they'd be alright with keeping from outright killing your character. :3

  16. An ancient, rotting, old Imperial Captain lay deep in some dank catacomb - sunken eyes staring at the altar ahead, fanged maw twisted into a frown. She recalled Scrisa, and their gambits together; in the maleficar's better years, she regarded Juniper & Scrisa both as family. No correspondence, decades later, and the Orenian had come to forget much of their interactions. Dame Viktoriya would ebb back into eternal slumber, none the wiser of Scrisa's supposedly, true death.
  17. I wish there was a downvote option solely for AI written posts

some might not even be ai-generated, i remember seeing a few of your own posts being flagged for AI, but eitherway if its just for personal stuff (like character posts/house posts) ii dont think it'll matter

while i dislike ai for a few things, i guarantee you any ai detector you’re using isn’t reliable and will very likely give a false positive. it’s v common esp for non-native English writers to be flagged with ai writing. not defending ai mind u just being realistic since anyone can call anything ai writing to discount work someone else spent time on

      ^^

Some stuff def gets flagged for no reason, I mean the posts that blatantly use it

when something is very repetitive or uses introductions like "in the dimly lit halls/hallows/etc of..." and other stuff like that it becomes apparent AI was at least used partially

  18. "I'm ... a grandfather." John - after witnessing his wife's corpse in the hospital - seemed unusually high of spirits. This news put a bigger grin on his face, reaching over to hand the flier to Rhys. "We're grandparents!" @teeylin
  19. John stared at the missive with tired eyes, nearly discarding ot before he did a double take. Thinned lips, silence, was all the man reacted with before setting it aside.
  20. A disgruntled Dedicant began to stomp the flier, as though it'd grown a mouth to insult him. "Outta' here, outta' here!"
  21. John wore an awkward smile, his eyes darting between the mentions of 'Veletz' and 'Adrian Diaspora'. "It's in Petra, so ... ah. It's fine," he hummed to himself, preparing his nicest suit!
  22. Will we need to rebuy the tent to get the updates to its api?
  23. 1963 I.T. / 96 B.A. Years pass, and slowly but surely, age has begun to take its toll. When I first became Baron of Cascanova – then ‘Castelorena’ – I decided on a style of heirship to ensure the next leader would be decided not by birth, but might. Now that my eldest have reached their adult years, I see it fit to finally declare who will be the next to take up this ancient mantle. It is with great joy and confidence that my son Adrian Marcello Galbraith @oryPis to be the next Baron & Patriatch of Galbraith, upholder of our line and defender of our creed. As I take this step towards a more advisory role within our household, I do so with the utmost trust in Adrian's capability, and when I do retire, I may retire knowing the next generation is safe in his hands. IN HOC SIGNO VINCES Signed, His Excellency, John Augustus Galbraith, Baron of Cascanova, Patriarches de Galbraith, Ward of the King, Secretary of Diplomatic Affairs, Royal Legate.
  24. Can whatever mod that deleted my writing pls contact me

    grazie

  25. John -- Balian's Royal Legate -- was on his twentieth cigarette as he worried about that dammed island. The floor had gradually sloped down into a dip from his pacing, smoke clouding the room as he stared across the sea with reddened eyes.
